"Cure wounds" Jeremy cast the spell, "cheese and crust man you got shredded" cursing at the miserable state of his friend.
"Isn't it Jesus christ?", Allen whimpered.
"What pizza flavor is that?" Jeremy didnt hear of it but there were thousands of flavors he never would get through all of them even with Red's enthusiastic assistance in the scientific process.
"Never mind" the dragon sighed and drooped its head, "I wish I was a better fighter", lamenting "I seem to lose every battle I go to".
"You should probably learn to pick your fights" Jeremy couldn't stop himself, "you attacked a whole blockade and now a pack of wolves nearly half your size", thinking of the words, "that is huge half a dragon sized wolves" seeing it wasn't cheering his friend up, "at least we know how Kyatha drove them back", looking suspiciously at one of the elementals in the room, "breaking their legs is nasty crap from horror holograms".
"It works", sighing again Allen looked at Jeremy, "the goliaths are contained in the outer wall" sounding grim, "the gauntlet coupled with the elemental's natural chamoughlage is holding them at bay and", ending in a bitter note, "they know better than me when to fire the cannons and when to attack in melee".
"Looks like the frost giant Player is back", Jeremy focused the vision on his monitor and let Allen see the cavalry goliaths entering the east gate and behind them the frost giant had to lean over to get through, tower shield bearing infantry giants spread before the nightmares and started navigating the gauntlet maze slaughtering the few remaining elementals, the whole siege turned into a one sided victory parade.
Pulling back the eight surviving elementals was almost admitting defeat, with nowhere to run Allen decided to give it all for his last stand, equipping the space armor and leading the elementals on one last stand they chose a choke point where the enemy would be stretched in a straight line and give their single volley its best chance to do some good before the cavalry charged through them.
"Are we ready?" Allen rumbled to Shovermatsor.
"They wouldn't know what hit them" chuckling sounded like grating stones in a blender, "wouldn't want to be them"
Three shields covered the whole passage almost wall to wall, the cannons barely denting the heavy slabs of metal were useless, an eerie sound started filling the pass like a rattle whistle building up volume, when it was almost unbearable something lit up and blasted through the rows of shields, molten metal hit flesh and hissed before the screams started.
Giants falling, dead before they hit the floor, panic filled the ranks as the mechanical armor lit up like a holyday tree, huge metallic teeth in a double jaw, sharp claws lit by neon color lines, the eerie sound started building up again as the two shoulder cannons were rotating maws of heat and light.
Not waiting for another discharge of the formidable weapon the shield bearers clung to the wall and the nightmare riders stormed down the narrow corpse strewn pass.

Rising on his hind legs Allen reveald five elemental cnnoneers that boomed as soon as he cleared their line of sight, the unshielded cavalry met with the unstoppable force of cannon fire at close range.
Trampling their fallen comrades the cavalry charge continued to rumble when the floor vanished beneath the first row and the second followed them into the abyss before the next in line jumped over, the trick only buying the defenders enough time to fire one last volley before being trampled by the charging giants.
Dropping from his hop Allen crushed into the surviving giants with all the weight of his heavy metal armor, reaching ground level and clawing two nightmares to the ground he activated his boosters and shot forward at breakneck speed pushing the front line at their allies almost all the way back to the gaping hole.
Sinking the metal claws in the ground and leveling the plasma cannons with the ground he took aim and shot, drilling holes through the cavalry and clearing the center of the pass almost all the way to the back lines where direwolves surrounded the frost giants, remembering past exoeriences he chose not to chase the fleeing giants and just take his victory as it was.
With the sun rising, a group of hoopak wielding goliaths clashed with two of the elementals, close quarters diminished the overwhelming range advantage for the defenders and Allen joined the melee to save their few remaining.
A few pebbles hitting the the ground was all the alarm he had to boost through the giants when a wolf landed where he stood just a second before, evading into another street he barreled through a team of shield holders and couldn't break them.
Flying over the wall he saw the frost giant pointing a staff at him and immediately dodged out of sight, more wolves were waiting below and he had to roll, dodge and take quick hops over walls just to stay ahead.
In one twisted turn his tail slashing a wolf across the face and his arm hitting the wall something soft gave out under his foot and he crashed into the other wall, scrambling to his feet he slithered over the wall just to see the frost giant was out of sight.
Using the map he made a winding path back to the keep, knowing the gauntlet was also lost to them and soon the giants will be crashing in through their doors.
Reaching the last leg of his flight he could see the empty area before the keep doors, boosting through the distance something caught his eye and he rolled when a thin beam of light disintegrated the ground and his the indestructible wall, skidding to a halt he initiated the plasma cannons and prepared to evade the next attacks before they charged up.
The frost giant leaned against his staff, his skirt armor revealing a scar from their clash in the mountains, surrounded by direwolves and hoopak wielding goliaths he was holding up his arm in a gesture for negotiations.
"What do you want?" Allen asked short of breath.
"I have an offer for you", the Player replied, "I can let you leave the pass if you turn over the armor and the woman"
"Make me another one" catching his breath, "how about", activating the banker negotiation skills, "we give you this castle", adding, "and you guide all of us away from the pass?"
"I already control most of this castle and I can take the armor when I kill you", the giant was giving him no outs, "why should you die for a human avatar?", adding, "we can pay you with gold if you just leave", two goliaths carrying a huge box answered a cue and emptied a small mound of gold and gems into the dust.
"Your tricks don't work on me", Allen resisted the urge to asses and count the treasure, "I am not a hatchling anymore", aiming the plasma turret directly at him.
"I didn't think so" the giant pointed with his staff and disintegrated the gold, Allen lunged with a growl but stopped himself before taking a full step, "don't work on you at all" he mocked.
Firing his right plasma cannon and using the boosters to turn and blast him toward the keep door the last thing Allen saw was the giants evading his shot as he crashed through the open doors and Jeremy closes them behind him.
