A loud clang resonated through the room when Allen removed the Immobile property from the weapon, the Kobolds jumped when he looked at them, "very emotional", he said after a long pause, "it almost sounded real", feeling his indignation flare in defense of the accusations, "but you are just computer generated aparitions", he moved closer, "you don't feel remorse", hovering over them "you don't feel fear or anger or love or loss", seeing the older one crunch her face he added "you just are" he hissed, "as I made you".
Seeing muscles move under her scaley hide Allen thought she might strike again, "you were a fun build JewelSetter", moving around the room and checking the properties of different items, "making pretty items", he remade the desk, "maxing properties of mundane stuff", the floor took him a little longer as it involved the whole structure, "working on luck and intelligence to make everything fit together perfectly", when he returned everything in the room to its perfect condition, "but you were never charismatic enough to profit on the trades", he gave one final look around "so I let you go and moved on to Trapper", he deleted the sensor and the display from that room went dark, her words struck a chord he didn't know he had in him, but he wasn't going to confront some malfunctioning AI on his past.
Setting the doors of his shrine to their Closed configuration and then removing the 'open' property Allen started to relax in his mind, all that excitement was entertaining but the drama was just too much for a casual stroll in the city, following that thought Allen created a new sensor and started floating around the market that surrounded the temple he lived in, people made bargains, bought and sold all kinds of strange goods from the game.
Allen couldn't figure why a Player would buy a tomato for three silver bits, another Player bought a pan for a silver coin, simple housewares and groceries in a world of fantasy and wonder, where you could fight dragons and level down mountains, be a pirate on the seas and befriend a kraken, thinking about it made Allen realise Karen was dead for so long that no one around even remembered her, or Janice or any of his other friends, or even him and his real life family.

That thought was depressing, he deleted his sensor again and went back to reading his books, what was he doing for the past thousand years? what did he accomplish that was worth living for so long? the questions kept popping into his head and wouldn't let him concentrate, finally he decided maybe some drama would distract him and looked for the location properties of his previously deleted sensor.
The office was dark and abandoned, floating to the other room he found only two of the Bullies remained and most of the damage was removed or repaired, "where is Duster", he asked and the Kobolds jumped like they were bitten.
"Who?" a tall green scaled creature asked, "are you Gem's ghost?", it squinted in Allens' direction, "did you really trash Nanna's office?", the other Kobold, with a darker almost black hide hissed at the speaker.
Now knowing his Kobold's name Allen repeated the question "where is Gem?" trying to sound disinterested.
"They all left to the temple a while ago", Greeny said, "we are grounded for bullying Gem", extracting another hiss from Blacky, "what" Greeny asked turning to the other Kobold, "its not like they can do anything worse to us".
"What are your names?" Allen asked, not wanting to use color monickers for his conversation.
"Im Tauran" the green one said "why do you ask", blacky replied at the same time.
"Just being polite", Allen was at the end of his nerves for Blacky's attitude, "which you obviously never learned how" he added to Blacky's hiss.
"Did you really teach Gem how to use magic?" Tauran asked after a pause.
"No" came the quick reply, "where did you hear that?".
"Gem said it was you that made all the sounds but Staffson figured she was just playing pranks on everyone to hide her use of magic", Tauran looked at Blackey, "I guess we owe her an apology or something".
Allen remembered what they said before and moved his sensor from the salon to just outside his shrine where a group of Kobolds stood around Gem and JewelSetter looking at the door they couldn't open, finally he sighed inwardly and said "fine", which caused a stir in the group, he changed the doors property back to open and the group moved in.
