"Stop", Allen said when the group moved closer to his Crystal, "don't come any closer", seeing the same scene from two different angles was so strange that he had to minimize one of the compiler windows, "why are you here?".
Staffson looked at Gem with disdain, "enough with this nonesense child", he said, "you thread a thin line leading to nothing but tragedy".
"She isn't doing anything", Allen said defensively, "why is it dangerous to use magic?", was the question he really wanted answerd, maybe it could tell him something about the other oddities he witnessed in the city.
The adult Kobold looked directly at Allen, his head turned to an invisible spot somewhere above and to the left of the crystal, Allen noticed there were four different groups of Kobolds in the room, with three ancient creatures, seven guards and three mature Kobolds surrounding the single youngling that seemed scared of her august audience.
"Gem please walk to the crystal ", Allen finally said and the trembling youth took a step forward only to be stopped by Staffson, "let her go" Allen commanded and when JewelSetter touched Staffson's arm he released Gem who approached the floating Crystal.
Thinking about what made him come out of his crystal shell he figured it could be something this Kobold did, and from the few things that could be a spell was the most probable, especially if she had something others didn't like Tauran said about mana and how it was taboo in their society, "did you cast a spell on me?", Gem couldn't hide the shiver that struck her from head to toe, she stood mortified in the center of the room.

Staffson was the first to react, raising his staff to attack the motionless youngster he shouted "liar", and was surprised when his staff was stuck in the air, his hands swished harmlessly in the air.
"Stop", allen said again as the guards grabbed Staffson and JewelSetter walked over to shield her proginy, looking oddly at the staff.
"Please wait for someone to hold the staff before you drop it", Jewelsetter said and motioned one of the other elders to do just that, "thank you", she finished when Allen let the staff move normally again, "its a precious legacy of our people".
At her words Allen moved his sensor towards the staff and examined it, "isn't it the Shaman's staff?" he asked finally, remembering the NPC shaman that summoned him.
"Yes", JewelSetter said, "it was the staff that gave us the first Allen for three and a half hours before you were banished by the Player Chronomancer that cast you through time to an unknown point in history", she scratched her head "I guess its not unknown anymore" she chuckled uncomfortably.
The Kobold holding the staff fell to its knees, lowering her head to the floor, one of the guards moved thinking she was hurt but then realised what was happening and his knees started shaking.
BoneSmith shouted "NO", she raised her hands and equipped a bone headed hammer to charge at the crystal, "NOOOOO" her cry resonating through the room as she ran to smash the abomination that floated before her, suddenly the hammer slipped from her hands and she stumbled forward, both hands hitting the crystal and Allen had an alarm ringing, he saw the ticker alarm had gone off and that mystery was finally solved as well.
JewelSetter walked over to the distraught BoneSmith and held her friend tight, the heartbroken Kobold kept crying uninteligeble words and pounding on Jewelsetter's chest with futile fists that had no strength behind them.
Staffson fell to his knees as well and the others followed, leaving only three Kobolds still standing in the shrine room, not sure what to do Allen kept silent to let the Kobolds resolve their dramatic entrance.
