Katherine Pov
When she woke up and her gaze landed on the table, she found a new present from the dungeon. She rushed through her bathroom routine and came back out to check the spoils of the second floor. She saw the large pot and became excited.
She pulled out one of the water skins and poured some water into it before lighting the charcoal in the stove and putting the pot on to boil. Then she pulled out one of the flowers she had found and used a quick identify on it to make sure she grabbed the right one.
[Lavender flower. Great for tea, could also be used for cakes. Boosts immune system and helps alleviate pain and inflammation. Needs honey to be perfect.]
Perfect. She saw this and was excited to try it, while she waited for the water to boil she went outside the cabin to find the bee hive to collect a small amount of honey. When she saw it she was a little stunned, she's never seen a bee hive cover an entire tree. Thankfully there aren't that many bees here at the moment, most are out collecting.
She is cautious and friendly as she walks towards the hive, she evens says her intentions out loud to take a small amount of honey every day if they don't mind. She feels silly talking to bees but she doesn't want them to die because she invaded their home without warning. The bees buzz at her and make way for her to grab a small comb of honey from the cleared area. She's careful to not be greedy.
She just wants some perfect tea, and maybe a honey cake if she can find some flour. She walks back into the cabin and places the honeycomb in one of the bowls and checks on her water, it's almost boiling. She pulls a good amount of the purple flowers off the stem and puts them in a second bowl apart from the honey. She pulls out some berries to munch on while she waits.
She's so happy she gets to eat her fill every day now. Once the water is boiling she grabs her bowl with the flower petals and carefully dunks it in the pot of water and brings it over to the table to let it steep for a few minutes.
She breaks off a chunk of the honeycomb and drops it in her tea after waiting a while she takes a sip and feels like she's drinking ambrosia. It's amazing. She doesn't think she can go back to drinking plain water after this. Come to think of it she never did use her identify on the honey. She takes another sip as she looks over at it and uses her skill. She is a little stunned.
[Spring bee honey. Nourishes the body and helps the brain. Makes the user happy, just like a good worker bee should bee.]
She laughed at the lame joke and continued to drink her tea and eat berries, when she was done with her tea she emptied out the pot of the little water that remained and pulled out some meat from her ring after letting the pot warm up she tossed it in and flipped it and then added some of the vegetables she found while walking, asparagus, mushrooms, chives, dandelion roots and some fiddlehead ferns and added some water to the pot and left the cabin to make her map while she waited for her soup to be done.
She heard the ding reminding her that she had left the safe zone and proceeded to follow the same procedure as the first floor, she went back to the stairs ignoring all the plants and focusing on all the monsters on this floor. She walked the entire perimeter making a mental map and then she walked through it and she was really surprised by the variety of monsters on this floor.
She saw a couple of other honeybee covered trees and had the urge to go ask for honey but when she saw the monsters lurking nears the hives sleeping she decided against it. The system even warned her not to. She was so ever thankful for the identify skill.
[Honey Badger. Nocturnal creature known for being vicious, fearless and aggressive. Don't mess with a honey badger. Nature affinity to help grow flowers for bees. They love honey.]
Now if she wakes up in the middle of the night she will have some monsters to challenge. But not any time soon. She walks back to the cabin after making her map. She wants to check on her food and then she will come back out and see if she can't track down those cute little monsters she saw yesterday. She heard the ding when she entered the safe zone and smelled something amazing wafting in the air she almost started drooling.

She walked in to the house and right up to the stove, she used the spatula to stir it and was delighted to find it was coming along well. She felt confident with leaving it alone for a few more hours. She left the cabin and she felt as though a change had gone over the floor, some of the monsters were looking at her as though waiting to be challenged. It excited her.
She decided to rush in and see what happened. Her scepter wasn't in her hand yet and she wasn't thinking clearly but she was just so excited for a challenge. As she ran she pulled out her scepter from her ring and it helped clear up her mind. She ran towards the monsters that were running away from the crowd, she used her identify skill on it and was happy she had chosen correctly. This was a prey type monster.
[Grass Gazelle. They just graze on grass and enjoy the breeze. When they feel threatened they will use an air type skill to run away.]
This was going to be much easier after chasing the foxes on the first floor, she had gotten good at running in quick bursts to catch her prey. She locked on to one of the slower ones, it was probably the oldest in the herd.
She quickly separated it from the herd and gave chase. They were faster than the foxes on the first floor so it took while to wear the monster down.
Once she caught up to it though she made quick work of it's back legs and smashed it's head. Like always, the first kill turned into a figurine and she put it into her ring before going off to hunt another one.
She was excited to taste new meats. She hunted ten of them before a big cat named cheetah came over and began treating her like prey. She wanted no part of it after witnessing the lioness in action so she turned and ran back to the safe zone with her spoils.
It chased her for a while and she was terrified she would end up as the big cat's dinner. She felt that it might be toying with her and the thought left her in chills. She let out a long sigh of relief when she heard the ding that she had entered the safe zone. Tomorrow she would pay more attention to those guys.
[Wind racer cheetah. Sneaky predators who can run as fast as the wind thanks to their wind skill. They prefer to hunt at dusk or dawn.]
The cabin smelled amazing. She was excited to eat food after chasing around monsters for hours. She went to the washroom and cleaned herself up before coming back out and using her scepter to slide the pot from on top of the coals.
She grabbed the bowl that she used for her tea and dipped it in the pot and licked the rim of the bowl before walking across the room to the table. She looked at the unique utensil and laughed at the absurdity of the tiny teeth on the spoon.
It was quite helpful if she was being honest though. Her soup was ok at best. It could use some bones and some of the stuff from the fourth floor. She couldn't wait to reach the fourth floor. The fruits and vegetables that she'd had were delicious and she wanted to eat them again.
She ate all the soup in the pot before she used the faucet in the wash area to clean out the pot and filled it to make more tea. She lit the charcoal again and put the pot over it and went outside to collect more berries while she waited.
She could tell she was going to enjoy staying on this floor. She went back into the cabin after picking enough berries for breakfast in the morning. She pulled out some little white flowers from her ring, used her skill on it and tossed them in the clean bowl and waited for the water to finish boiling.
[Jasmine flowers. Rich, sweet, fruity flower with a sweet flowery taste. Fights infection and bacteria. Needs honey to be perfect for tea.]
At this rate she was sure she wouldn't be able to live without tea and honey in the future. She would have to make it a point to collect some every day.
How much tea and honey would you need for it to last fifty years? She giggled at her own crazy thought. Her poor little ring would never be able to hold that much, but she drooled at the thought of that much honey.
She grabbed one of the chairs and dragged it outside to sit and watch the stars. It was very different from the sky she grew up with, she couldn't see a single God cosmo like outside.
Anyone could become a new God, when they ascended they could cluster together with a faction or family and paint miles in the sky in different colors.
The other option would be you can go it alone and become a pirate God so to speak and steal others domains and add them to your own. It's complicated actually.
She had never really considered the possibility that she would ever level up to the point but here, now, she had the chance and she was going to take it.
After her one hundredth birthday her tails would would come in every fifty levels once she reached level fifty. While it was difficult to become a nine tailed fox because they did have a limited life span. It was also true that every tail was basically a mana battery and helped them to extend their life span.
As long as she put in the work she would become a nine tailed fox, then she would have to form her divinity. It was different to every fox and they had to figure it out on their own. She hadn't put that much thought into yet.
She wasn't sure how the other races ascended though. She had never had the opportunity to look in to it. Nor had her parents ever brought it up.
She was excited to keep leveling up. She had a little over twenty years before her one hundredth birthday. She was sure she could make it to at least level fifty by then. She would aim for level one hundred though.
