Dragon hunter Pov Gore
When he appeared outside the dungeon he took a deep breath and was a little surprised that the system hadn't lied, the kid he was hunting for was really here. The strange part was that he didn't smell any blood in the air. How could those kids still be alive?
He couldn't sense any other dragon blood either except for the kid he was already tracking. He growled in frustration. While he was fighting against a dragon he would be about as strong as one.
If he fought against something without dragon blood his skill wouldn't activate and he would only be three times stronger than normal; thanks to all of the dragon hearts he had eaten.
Just at a glance he could tell this dungeon was weak. It didn't even have ten floors yet much less a skill. The dungeons are supposed to be gifts from the system, to help all those capable of growing stronger but he just saw them as death traps. They made living beings out of nothing but mana and it felt wrong to him.
He preferred to train his body rather than level up, to gain experience through blood and hardship. After he ate his first dragon heart, given to him by his father to continue their traditions; the system locked him out and he was no longer able to gain levels. Either way he was sure he could handle what ever this dungeon threw his way.

He grabbed the sword off his hip ready to kill anything that crossed his path. He walked about halfway through the first floor before he came across any monsters, anything that came within his range was sliced to pieces or decapitated.
These weak monsters couldn't harm him. After making sure there weren't any other monsters nearby, he kept walking until he found himself surrounded by three huge white bears.
He just smiled, after eating a fire dragon's heart a few years back, he didn't feel cold and ice spells had a hard time working on him. While they couldn't freeze him they did put up a decent fight.
He was about to slaughter these bears when all the remaining monsters on this floor converged on him and he had to take his attention off of them.
He cackled madly at the prospect of a good fight. He swung his sword and decapitated wolf after wolf, sometimes the occasional owl would try to sneak up on him but he would always cut them down the center before they could attack.
After cleaning up all the small fries he went back to focusing on the bears. He realized there was a new type of bear but it didn't bother him, this one was even smaller than the others.
Just as he was about to strike it down with his sword it made a thick earth wall to block him and it stunned him momentarily and one of his legs froze solid.
He was trying to focus on circulating his blood when his arm was frozen. He roared in anger and tried to focus again but one of the new smaller bears charged at him.
He was unable to move out of the way before the bear ripped off his arm like a twig off a tree and walked away to eat it. In his daze he felt he had been struck by a dragon.
He fell into the hard snowy ground before he felt immense pain as his head was pulled back and separated from his body. In his last moment he cursed the system for it's scheming ways.

I'm relieved that Katherine was able to get them downstairs to the safe zone. Honestly I'm not even sure if this guy is a human or a monster.
The polar ice bears haven't been able to freeze him solid and are struggling to keep him from advancing. I send out a mass wave to tell all of my monsters to attack him. I even summon two more polar ice bears.
I've finally figured it out, he's not a human or a monster. He's insane. That's even worse. He started cackling madly as my monsters converged on him from all sides. It was a blood bath. The only monsters capable of fighting him were the bears. Even they were not enough.
I found it very unfair that I couldn't just use my mana to grab an ice sickle and stab him in the head. I summoned four of the black bears from the fourth floor and was relieved to see the earth type magic had thrown the man off and he had a frozen leg to drag around now.
While he was trying to thaw his leg one of the bears froze his arm so he roared and one of the black bears took it as a challenge. It launched itself at the man and tore off the frozen arm that he was unable to move out of the way in time. Blood began to poor down his side as he stared in disbelief at the black bear who walked away with his arm to try and eat it.

The other bears took advantage of this moment of shock and pounced at him from behind and threw him to the ground and ripped his head off. They wanted to eat him but I told them to go fight for the arm the black bear had taken. I need the body and head to gain more loot and information about the outside.
What an awful scene, there's blood all over the dungeon. Thankfully I can absorb it and make it disappear. I look over the monsters on the first floor and I no longer feel the thrill of victory. That monster killed all of my critters. Just the bears are left. I wish I could cry and let out this grief.
I had watched them grow and change, they were my babies and they had died without me being able to do a thing. I let the system take care of summoning the monsters for the first floor, I can't bear to look at them right now.
I focus on the memories of the man I just absorbed and feel nothing but disgust and contempt for this man's whole life. I'm glad to get a monster like him off the planet I live on.
This beautiful and wonderful world that I had to see through blood tinted eyes. The only upside is I am now fluent in the common language of the main continent.
I gather the materials to make an enchanted ring of translation for Katherine, it's obvious she doesn't understand these children at all. It's a quick thing to make and I drop it on the table with some fourth floor food drops while Katherine is in the washroom cleaning up the girls.
I peak in to the main area of the second cabin and find it empty so I dropped a bunch of food from the fourth floor on the table and a small storage ring for the oldest boy.
Those kids all looked thin and dirty, it was a brief glance but I'm pretty sure they are all starving. I call it a day and bring my focus back down to my pyramid and contemplate everything that happened on the first floor today.
Katherine Pov
After cleaning up the three small girls she put them all into the dress that fit them the best and brought them out of the washroom. She saw the pile of food on the table and recognized it as food from the fourth floor.
She ran over and started putting things in to her storage ring so they wouldn't rot. At the very end she found a simple ring on the table and picked it up and used her skill on it.
[Ring of translation. Will help you understand and speak the language of the main continent of this planet. Indestructible.]
She had a few questions but she pushed them to the back of her mind as she put the ring on her finger and turned to the little girls to see if they could understand her.
{Katherine} "Hi? Can you understand me now?"
From the surprised look on their faces she could tell they could. She felt awkward at their lack of response so she asked them if they wanted to go check on the boys and they nodded their heads vehemently. She sighed at their reaction and took them over to the other cabin and knocked on the door.
After a long while the oldest boy finally opened the door and looked relieved to see the girls and asked them if they were ok. They nodded their heads and Katherine took the chance to talk to the boy.
{Katherine} "Hi? The dungeon gave me this ring so I can speak with and understand you guys. I'm sorry about rushing you guys along earlier. It was an emergency. I'm Katherine by the way."
{Leto} "Hi. I'm Leto. I understand. It's ok. What kind of dungeon is this place? It left a bunch of food on the table and even this black ring."
He pulled a black stone ring out of the pocket of his new pants and showed her.
{Katherine} "How old are you? Have you activated your system? This is a storage ring but you need the system to make the best of it."
{Leto} "I'm twelve, my system activated a few months ago." He looks extremely proud that it did.
{Katherine} "Ok, good. Drop a drop of blood on that black stone and bind it to you. It will link to your system and then store all that food so it won't go bad. Would you like for me to come in and cook? I'll explain everything to you while you eat."
The boy takes out a small blunt knife out from his pocket and uses it to stab the tip of his finger until he finally gets a drop of blood and smears it on to the ring. After that he invites the girls and her into the cabin so they can talk while eating.
She pulled out some of the fresh meat she still had along with some onion, garlic, carrot, mushrooms and acorns that the dungeon had supplied.
She patiently peeled the onion and garlic before smashing it with her hands and tossing it into the pot along with the carrots and mushrooms with some whole acorns. She lit the stove and put the pot over it while explaining what she knew about the dungeon so far.
It had a patron God though she didn't know who yet, the dungeon was extremely unusual and in it's own way almost kind. It also liked to test her capabilities.
It didn't use underhanded tricks, so far at least. Even though her parents had warned her about dungeons being able to use skills related to traps and never ending hordes of monsters she hadn't seen it so far in this one.
Even though she didn't know how dungeon skills worked compared to their skills, she still told them about it. They seem to have even less dungeon knowledge that she did.
She sent Leto back to her cabin for some extra bowls and utensils and then began to plate up food for all the children when she finished her explanation.
They cleared their bowls in just a few minutes and it took everything in her to not laugh at their satisfied expressions. The sun had set while they were eating and she asked the girls to come back and sleep in her cabin with her. It was inappropriate to sleep with boys in the same room.
After a moment of hesitation they finally agreed to go with her. She grabbed up her bowls and utensils and led the little girls back to the cabin. She cleaned up her dishes and proceeded to make a new tea so that the girls would sleep better. She used her skill on it.
[Chamomile flower. Helps with fevers, muscle spasms, insomnia, ulcers and superficial wounds. Makes a great tea. Would be perfect with honey.]
She shows it to the girls as she explains the uses for it, then she explains how the bees are nice and she has an agreement with them to get some honey from them every day.
The girls watch as she prepares the tea and then adds honey to their bowl before excitedly picking it up, ready to take a sip but are stopped by Katherine reminding them that it's hot.
They blow on it a couple of times before they lose their patience and start sipping it. Their eyes light up with delight.
She finishes her own tea before boiling another pot to take over to the boy cabin. She explains to them the benefits of the tea before pouring some into each of their bowls and wishing them a good night.
She hopes everyone can enjoy a decent night's sleep.
