After showing the children how to use the soul empowering gems and using her own they got back in to the routine of going out to hunt after eating breakfast and coming back before it got dark. This floor was different from the last two floors. It was hard to walk in the water all day and by the end of it all you wanted was to dry your feet and go to sleep.
Time passed swiftly and weeks went by before something disrupted their routine. As strange as it was there was a knock on the cabin door. She looked around and counted the children before pulling out her scepter to open the door.
She opened the door cautiously, once she laid eyes on the guest behind the door her scepter fell out of her hand from the shock. The aura this girl gave off was otherworldly. Her perfectly split black and white dual colored hair with scarlet eyes and sharp features were unnatural to all the races she knew. She smiled to the best of her ability.
{Katherine} "Hello? Who are you? Can I help you?"
{Annika} "Hi! I'm Annika but you can call me Ani. I'm here to play! Lili invited me to come spend the day in her dungeon so I could have some fun."
She's a little confused. Play? Lili?
{Katherine} "I'm sorry who is Lili?"
{Annika} "Oh yeah. She did say this was an unexpected visit. You can't talk to the dungeon core can you? She's really nice actually. She was my very first friend. She's so great! It was her idea for me to come and make more friends today. I'm so excited to be here. I don't get out much. The domain is so boring! This place is amazing! You're so lucky you get to stay here." (She's babbling)
She's in a state of shock. This girl can talk to the dungeon core and get a response?! That's a thing only Gods can do. She wants to play with her and the children and be their friend? Is this a dream?
{Katherine} "Are you the patron of this lovely dungeon?"
{Annika} " Pfft! Me? No way! That's my mother's job. She's the Goddess of Balance. She went to talk to the Lili about something. I want to have some fun! I never get to leave the domain. Can I come in now?"
{Katherine} "Can I ask one more question?"
{Anikka} "Sure! I don't mind."
{Katherine} "Why is this dungeon so unique? I've never heard of a smart dungeon like this one before."
{Annika} "Oh! That's easy! Lili is a reincarnated soul that remembers her past life. I don't know much more than that but that should be enough to answer your question. Right?"
She nods in a daze at the girl in front of her and steps aside so she can enter the already crowded cabin.
She picks up her scepter as the children introduce themselves. She had never paid much attention before but now was as good a time as any to learn their names.
In chronological birth order they are Leto, Harmin, Silas, Hara, Garm, Heros, Lyra and Rose. She's never going to remember all those names.
The kids start talking about all sorts of random things but she's not really paying attention. She's thinking about the little bit of information she just received, until the kids ask Ani if she wants to color with them and she's pulled out of her thoughts.
She seems genuinely happy to be asked to color with the group. The kids grab their colored pencils and blank notebooks and give Ani a set that belonged to one of the older boys.
They hadn't been interested in drawing anything. She tells the older boys that if they aren't going to color that they should vacate the area so it's not so crowded in here. They hesitate for a moment before they agree and go back to their own cabin to get started on dinner.
Ani was very excited until she opened the notebook to find it blank. She frowned and asked all of the kids for their notebooks and piled them up. She puts her hand on the stack for ten seconds or so and then removes her hand and smiles. Ani opens up the top one and starts flipping through the pages.
All the blank pages have been filled with realistic drawings of animals, monsters and beings of all kinds. She doesn't even recognize them all. She picks up one of the notebooks on the table and starts flipping through the pages hunting for a drawing she saw in passing just a moment ago.
She found it! It's a sketch of a fox woman with nine tails holding a world in her hand. It's inspiring. The longer she stares at it the more she loves it.

She closes the notebook and stares at the cover to make sure it's really still the same one that the dungeon gave them. She realizes this notebook actually has her name written on the front.
She checks her storage ring and sure enough her sketch book isn't there. That's a great magic trick! She didn't even realize what had happened. She pulls out her colored pencils and sits down with the kids to color.
She begins to regale them with tales of her adventures on the first floor. Some times the kids get so sucked in to her story that they forget to keep coloring and just stare at her with wide eyes.
They talk for hours before the boys come to the cabin complaining about how it's almost bed time but the boys haven't even eaten dinner.
She blushes and jumps up to cook dinner. She was having such a good time she completely forgot about making dinner. She pulls out some venison meat, mushrooms and asparagus, seasons it up well and cooks it up quickly so the kids can go to bed.
She turns around ready to ask Ani if she will be staying the night with them when she realizes that she's gone. She asks the kids if they saw her leave but they shake their heads as they stuff their mouths with food. She left without saying good bye.
She hoped she would get to meet with Ani again in the future. She was really nice. She had a bunch of questions she would like answered too. She just didn't want to freak out the kids.

After using the soul empowering gem he had started having weird dreams, memories of other dragons maybe? He wasn't sure if this was the dragon inheritance that had been mentioned before. He couldn't understand much of it or even remember it clearly after he woke up. He hoped that as long as he got enough of those gems he would be able to understand it all.
The hardest part of it all though was remembering who he was when he woke up. There were thousands of years of history and memories while he was only fourteen, on the verge of fifteen. It was difficult to keep track of who he was. So far he felt like he had managed pretty well. No one had asked him about his weird morning habits so far.
After a few years of living in the dungeon they had a routine that they followed almost everyday. Recently he would wake up and make tea and breakfast for the boys. He didn't think they would always be able to count on Katherine so he had to start picking up the slack on his end. After returning from hunting one day there was a knock on the door and everyone stopped what they were doing to stare at the door.
When Katherine stood up and answered the door he wanted to stand behind her and let her know that he had her back but the moment she opened the door he froze. The scent in the air was something he had never encountered while he was awake. It pulled at something deep inside him but he couldn't place it. By the time he had calmed down the very out of place little girl had already entered the cabin.
He felt extremely uncomfortable with her in the cabin but he didn't dare leave her alone with the group of kids. It wasn't until Katherine kicked them out of the cabin that they left. He only left because the girl didn't smell like bad intentions. He would go back to their cabin and practice at making dinner. It was something he usually left to Katherine.

I'm so sad. I didn't get to talk Kat at all. Once I focused on the third floor it was just the normal group of people I was used to. It's probably for the best though. After checking the whole floor to be sure they are both gone I hear the ding of a notification.
[Congratulations! Due to the effect of Open-minded people gain the most you have earned one thousand dungeon points for having two Godly entities in your dungeon.]
Well that's pretty cool. I hope they come and visit again soon. The weird thing is that the system still only gave me five hundred dp per Godly entity. That's the same amount as humans. The system can be considered pretty fair if it values people and Gods in the same way.
Enough time has passed that I feel comfortable summoning the whale sharks to my ninth floor. I summon ten pairs of them and then pull up my list of whales to see what options I have.
There's only five options, probably due to the limited space of my mini ocean. The humpback whale, sperm whale, minke whale and orcas or commonly known as killer whale and as a bonus mermaids.
Wasn't I just wondering about mermaids? This is perfect. I'll summon three hundred of them and see how it goes. I wonder if they can grow legs and take over one of the ships and be mermaid pirates. That sounds like so much fun.
I summon two pairs of humpback and sperm whales. Apparently the minke whales are the favorite prey of the orcas so I summon ten pairs of those. I'll let everyone settle for a bit before I summon the orcas.
I'm trying to think of something to do while I wait for my floor to settle when I realize it's been a very long time since I've looked over my floors. I don't feel the need to check on my first two floors but I want to make sure that my manatees and dugongs have settled well on the third floor.
It doesn't take take me long time find them, I'm a little surprised. As a Floridian we all know that manatees are sweet and not very aggressive at all but my manatees must be different. They are actually fighting with the crocs for dominance.
While the manatees are unable to leave the water, the fat on their bodies is so thick that the crocs water slash can't fully penetrate it. The manatees attack by shooting out thick beams of water from their mouths. It may seem weak but it's actually compressed water and packs quite the punch.
The manatees are the new overlords on this floor. Honestly I can't tell the difference between the manatees and dugongs. I think they are related on some level. But anyways I'm still impressed. That was not what I expected when I summoned them.
Ok on to the fourth floor, the manatees were all I wanted to check on. On my fourth floor everything is just perfect. The bears have multiplied naturally and are the overlords of this floor.
Only because the foxes allow it though, they outnumber all of the other monsters on this floor except for the insects. Looking them over I find two new types and I'm delighted. There's a wind/fire type and a fire/ice type as well. They are so perfect I want to cry.
Although the wind/fire type is a little, extremely destructive to my forest ecosystem so it will probably end up moving to a different floor before too long. I'm not too worried though, a little forest fire is good to stimulate new growth. And i'll have to keep an eye on the fire/ice type. I need to figure out if it's hot fire or cold fire.
On the fifth floor all I want to check on are the goblins and the lioness pride. I hope there's been progress on that front.
