I click on the seahorse option and I see there are five options but only two of them are seahorses. They are the yellow seahorse, dwarf seahorse, leafy sea dragon, reef octopus and sponge. I stick with summoning two hundred of each. I summoned two hundred of each of the crabs from the list, Boxer crabs, Coral crabs, Reef King crabs, Arrow crabs, Ruby crabs and Emerald crabs.
Then it was on to the sea turtles. I have five different types, Green turtle, Leatherback turtle, Loggerhead turtle, Hawksbill turtle and flatback turtle. I summoned two hundred of each of them. All the drops on this floor are straightforward. You catch a fish you get fish meat. You catch a turtle you get turtle meat or a small individual shell boat.
It's not much but you won't drown. If you catch a shark you get shark steaks or fins for soup. It's a very delicious floor if I do say so myself. I don't have time to dawdle though because I have a ton of monsters to summon for this floor. I have dolphins, sharks and whales to summon still.
After spending a lot of dp on the mansion and the ships I still have four hundred and twenty nine thousand dp left. I hope Ani comes to visit soon, they did say they would. I have so much dp that I can't call them again anytime soon. It hasn't been that long since we last talked. They should come soon.
How long ago was it that I checked on Kat? It doesn't feel like it's been that long. The notification told me they had spent over two years on my second floor, so I guess it has been quite some time. I might have lost my very first creations but I saved their lives and that's what counts right?
I focus on my third floor and thank the system I'm in the water and I can't fall to the floor. Everyone is so grown up, they look nothing like the malnourished gremlins that I remember. Even Kat who looks exactly the same gives off a softer aura now.
She's much more mature than I remember. I can't help but feel a little regretful for ignoring them for so long, but it's ok I can still watch them. Kat made an interesting dinner, I'm not sure I would have come up with that idea but everyone looked very happy eating it.
Seeing that she had made flour some how it was only fair I give her casserole dish. I ask the system very nicely if it can engrave Kat's name on a cast iron casserole dish and to include a lid. I can feel the system gawking at me like i'm insane.
It's weird to even say that but I could tell it wasn't happy with my request. It did comply though and after everyone went to bed I left it on the table for her. I feel like the system up charged me too! What casserole dish costs seven hundred and fifty dp?! But it's ok. I have dp to spend. I pull up the affinities menu to see what other options I have.
Oh my dear system. How did I not notice the illusion affinity? That's too perfect for fucking with people. The minute you walk into the room it all goes dark and poof! You're in the greatest moment of your life and in the next second it all becomes your worst nightmare.
If you can fight your way out of the illusion you wake up in front on the next room ready for the next illusion until you break and go mad or you overcome everything to conquer your greatest fears. But that's for a deeper floor for sure. I purchase the illusion affinity for three thousand dp but I don't know what to do with it yet.
I think just having it strengthens my illusion flowers though so that's great. I also purchase the fire affinity because it makes all my fire affinities animals stronger. It will be helpful later on down the line when I do the volcanic themed floor.
The fire affinity only cost me two thousand dp so it wasn't that expensive. I decide to purchase the earth affinity so I can purchase the water affinity too. I want to keep the fight between the bears and crocs on the third floor like it has been.
They are also two thousand dp each and lastly I purchase the ice affinity to strengthen my first floor monsters for another two thousand dp. I think that covers all of my basic elements for now. I'll purchase the others when they come in to play.

I decide to summon the rest of my monsters on my ninth floor. I summon two hundred of each dolphin kind. Clymene, Spinner, Bottlenose, Spotted and Dusky. Also in the dolphin list is the Dugong that came up on the third floor.
I summon two hundred for the ninth floor and I also summon ten to the third floor. I'm low on mana after summoning so much so I guess i'll go check if Kat and the rest have have woken up yet.
She's starting to stir! I'm just in time to watch her see her gift. I hope she likes it.

She woke up at her usual time and remembered they had come down to the third floor so she jumped out of bed to start making tea like usual so they could get back out to leveling up. Then she noticed the dish on the table so she paused to use her skill on it.
[Cast iron casserole dish with lid. Gift from the dungeon. Place directly on coals or on top of stove. Great for bread.]
She smiles as she sits on a chair to inspect the casserole dish. It had been a long time since she had any interaction with the dungeon. She takes the lid off to inspect the dish, the lid is heavier than she thought it would be. She places it on the table and picks up the dish and it's even heavier than the lid was.
She flips it over to find her name engraved in it and she's momentarily stunned that the dungeon knows her name. She really has a lot of questions for this dungeon but she doesn't think she will ever get answers.
She puts the casserole dish into her storage ring and gets to work on tea and breakfast before the girls wake up. She needs to figure out if the boys have food to eat or if she needs to make them breakfast.
Once the girls wake up and she has them settled, she sets off to find the cabin the boys are in. She finds the boys eating a simple breakfast with some tea and she beams with pride. The boys can be self sufficient. In a couple more years the last two boys will be old enough to level up and she will feel secure in moving on if she needs to.
The oldest girl is on the verge of being able to start leveling up but she doesn't want to learn to use daggers so she's been having trouble trying to figure out what to train her in. She only has experience with her scepter and daggers.
Maybe they will find something on this floor for her. She asked Leto and the boys if they were ready to go out and hunt. They agreed and grabbed their weapons ready to head out.
The cabin the boys chose wasn't that far from the center of the floor, so there was quite a bit of water around them. It didn't take much walking before they came across a monster they hadn't seen before. She quickly used her skill on it before letting the boys approach it.
[Slasher crocodile. Large semiaquatic reptiles that have foregone speed for size and strength. They use their tails to attack their prey with a water slash. Opportunistic hunters, they will bite when the opportunity strikes.]
She tells the boys what the system has told her and reminds them to be careful. They take formation with her at the front. She pulls out her scepter and bashes the crocodile on the head. It takes it better than she thought it would. It's barely dazed so she hits it again and tells the boys to move in.
They try to aim for the six eyes on it's face but it's harder than they initially thought and they end up being pushed aside by the massive head of the monster. They jump back before the monster can bite them but it does head bash one of the boys pretty well.
She takes the opportunity to whack it on the head while it's trying to bash the boy again. They use the chance to get further away from it. She makes sure the boy is ok before telling Leto and the other boys to try to circle around it. She wants them to try and cut off it's limbs.
She puts all her strength into this hit and manages to stun the monster and the boys move in on it. Leto is the only one able to cut off his leg so he rushes to cut off the other leg nearest to him. The croc is no longer dazed and is furious.
It tries to pull itself forward to get into position to aim a water slash at them but finds it can't move after the loss of two of it's legs. It roars furiously before releasing a water slash from it's tail.
It startles the boys who were very close to the cut in the ground made by the water slash, but otherwise no one is harmed. Leto takes the opportunity to slash off another leg before using his fancy movement skill to get away quickly. She tells the boys to back away quickly because she expects the monster to lash out again and she was right.
The furious monster released another water slash but it wasn't able to aim at them so it did nothing. Leto took the opportunity to slash at it's throat and it wasn't long before it turned into a figurine. The group decided it was best to avoid these monsters until they were better prepared to deal with them. They continued exploring the floor with more caution this time. They came across more skunks, they were nasty creatures but their pelts were beautiful. She did prefer the deer pelts though.
