Walking down the streets with her hands in her suit pockets, Saneko was looking down, thinking about what had happened yesterday. Today was one of the rare days when she actually got up on time for school.
"I still can't believe I got an F for doing exactly what the teacher wanted. What's even the point of school if they will just unfairly give me bad grades."
As per usual, Saneko blamed everyone but herself. She was obviously still disgruntled due to the events at school, and, even though she was early, she didn't want to attend at all. When she was in a bad mood, there was nothing that could cheer her up. Well except for two things. A very "well written" power fantasy anime, and one of her beloved banana smoothies. She had nothing to watch for the former, but she could always find one of the latter easily. A smirk appeared on her face as she began thinking about getting a smoothie.
"You know, it shouldn't take too long to get one. And besides, it'll raise my spirits. I think it's worth it."
She was reasoning with herself, which would obviously always lead to the outcome she wanted. She started walking towards the ice cream shop with a spring in her step. Despite being a frozen treat, these smoothies would always melt her worries away.
However, as she turned the final corner, her smile vanished. The ice cream shop she had loved since she was a child had been destroyed.
Saneko froze in place, her heart sinking into her stomach. The windows were shattered, the door hung off its hinges, and the inside looked like it had been ransacked.
Saneko’s legs felt weak as she stumbled forward, not believing what she was seeing. She stepped through the broken door, into the building, which was just rubble at this point. Saneko’s hands clenched into fists, and a wave of pure rage crashed over her.
She took a shaky breath, trying to keep herself together, but it was no use. The tears welled up in her eyes, blurring her vision as she fell to her knees. Saneko wiped at her eyes with the back of her hand, but the tears kept coming. Her breathing became more erratic and her rage and sadness were becoming overwhelming.
"WHO DID THIS?"
The seal she had placed in her mind released, not being able to withstand the strength of her despair. Her aura pulsated, and it was an unmistakable feeling. Chloe could sense it from her room, and the little sanity she was holding onto began to disappear. She grabbed her head and began to scream as well, as her own emotions rattled the core of the Earth.
"MAKE IT STOP!"
The two forces collided. Saneko's emotions were easily overpowering Chloe's, but the damage being done to the spiritual force of the world was immense.
The president of the Hero Foundation felt this disruption and slammed his fists on the table he was sitting at. He had never found a way to re-link the satellites to Saneko, so he had no clue how to watch her. And even if he could, all of the heroes were investigating the damage being done by the super villain at the moment.
"That girl is finally about to kill us all isn't she?"
NASA's computers once again detected the disruption as well. It was ironically the same scientist who always saw the computer warnings first. He stood up from his desk and walked away.
"Nope, I'm done. I'm quitting."
The chief scientist walked up to him, hearing the alarms from the computers.
"What's going on, another earthquake?"
"No. It's the anomaly again. I can't take it anymore. I'm leaving."
"But wait! Usually the anomaly just stops after awhile. What makes this time different?"
"You know very well that our computers have been amplified with magic. They are designed to calculate and sense things that should have infinite density. It's how we discovered the universe was endless remember?"
"Yeah, so?"
"Well, our computers can't quantify the density of this power. I don't care if the anomaly stops or not. At this point, I just don't want to be apart of it anymore."
As all of these events were happening, Chrona pointed to the hologram at her table.
"See. I have just destroyed Saneko's mental state by going down to the Mortal Realm and firing a blast of energy at that ice cream shop. I already think I can win, but this will make it so much easier now that she's broken. I will go down there again, and finally put an end to all of this chaos."
"But wait, I thought you wanted to protect the smoothies."
"Well... yeah... but these smoothies are made everywhere. It's not like one shop contains all of the banana smoothies in the world."
"I guess. But I still don't think you should be risking your life."
"I'm not risking anything. I am confident that I am far stronger than Saneko."
Kray was still incredibly nervous, not sure if Chrona was actually capable of taking down Saneko or not.
"Are you 100% sure you can do this?"
"I am. You know how strong I am. Don't you remember how this world came to be? You think Saneko can compare to that?"
"... Good point... but... we have never witnessed someone like Saneko before."
"There are many things we haven't witnessed. Just because this person seems to be stronger than anything else we've seen in the Mortal Realm, doesn't mean she is unbeatable."
"That also means you're not unbeatable though."
"Correct. If I was, there would be no worlds above ours. But my point is, we are two worlds above the Mortal Realm, and even if our knights weren't enough, I'm confident that I am. Just trust me Kray. Since when have I ever let you down?"
Kray took a deep breath. He really didn't want Chrona to get hurt, but she made some decent points. He was just very concerned regardless.
"Okay, I'll trust you. I just can't believe you're doing all of this to protect some smoothies."

Chrona looked away. She looked somewhat guilty when Kray brought up the fact she was doing this for the smoothies again. It seemed like there was something Chrona wasn't mentioning. Kray noticed this and started to get suspicious. Chrona wasn't the type to just lie about things.
"What's wrong? Why are you looking away?"
"I... I am simply thinking about the best way to go down there."
"Don't lie to me. I can tell when you are hiding something. I thought you always wanted to be honest with me!"
"I am honest with you!"
"You don't seem like it right now."
"..."
The silence was telling. Kray did not understand what could possibly be so important about some smoothies that would lead Chrona to be dishonest.
"Okay that's it, you gotta tell me what's going on with those damn smoothies. And don't say they 'hold power' or whatever. That doesn't explain why you knocked one out of my hand when I tried to drink it. Give me a real reason."
Chrona hesitated to answer for a while, but finally began speaking up. It was evident by the look in her eyes that she wasn't malicious by hiding information.
"I am very sorry Kray. You are right, there is something I didn't tell you..."
Back on Earth, Saneko stood up, breathing heavily to herself. She took a deep breath and exhaled, trying to calm herself. She then remembered that there wasn't really any reason to be upset, as she had the power to fix this easily.
"Oh well, I can just rebuild the shop. No problem."
Her eye color went orange again. This was becoming her most frequently used Color Spectrum ability it seemed. She quickly created shapes of different materials to rebuild the building. The chief scientist at NASA watched the computers intently with the other scientist who was still ready to quit.
"It looks like the spiritual force of the world is returning to normal."
"I'm still quitting. I can't take this anymore!"
"Come on. You're the most observant person here. We need someone like you."
"My heart can't take it! I didn't sign up for this!"
"I'll raise your pay."
"... Alright, I'll stay."
By this point, Saneko had fully reconstructed the building and stood in front of it with a proud smile on her face.
"Now all I have to do is get people to work here."
She turned around and yelled across the street at a random pedestrian who was walking their dog.
"WORK HERE NOW!"
The person got frightened and started running away.
"Damn. Well, I guess I'll just wait for someone to take the job. And I was really looking forward to having a banana smoothie."
Saneko clicked her tongue and continued walking to school, feeling dissatisfied, but her anger had completely disappeared. Chloe's, however, hadn't. She continued grabbing her head. She was feeling an immense amount of pain and was screaming at the top of her lungs. Gravity started to thicken, and the tectonic plates once again started shifting, but this time, they did so all around the planet. Even the center of the Earth was no longer stable.
People everywhere began coughing, struggling to breathe, but Saneko didn't even notice. It wasn't like she needed oxygen to live or anything. A man ran in front of her, coughing and trying desperately to find somewhere to breathe better. Saneko simply looked at the man who was running around and had a disgusted look on her face.
"What kind of loser coughs out loud like that without even covering their mouth? So inconsiderate."
She continued walking, and buildings everywhere started crumbling down due to the disruption of the Earth's core. Saneko saw a row of houses collapse right in front of her and was quite surprised by what had just happened.
"Damn. Unlucky neighborhood I guess."
She was about to turn the final corner to get to the school, but she suddenly felt a tug on her pant leg. She looked down to see her disciple, on the floor, barely conscious.
"Demon Babe... help me..."
"Greetings my disciple. Why have you come to the great Demon Babe today? Do you wish to train with me?"
Saneko was still very proud of the boy for his usage of magic the other day. In truth, she was actually only proud of his flamboyant, "main character" way of showing off, but same difference.
"No... I can't breathe..."
"Do you have asthma? Poor mortals have so many ailments."
"No... I just can't..."
"SANEKO YOU DUMBASS! HAVEN'T YOU NOTICED WHAT'S GOING ON?"
Saneko turned to see Nakialia standing there with a very angry expression on her face.
"What are you doing here?"
"I'M HERE TO SHOW YOU THAT THE WORLD IS IN CHAOS AGAIN!"
"Don't exaggerate N."
"I'M NOT! YOU'RE THE SMARTEST PERSON I KNOW, YET YOU DON'T SEE ANYTHING BESIDES YOUR OWN LITTLE FANTASY WORLD!"
Saneko looked around and did notice that there were quite a bunch of people crawling around, coughing to themselves. That, alongside the fact that buildings were crashing down as they spoke, started to catch her attention.
"Oh yeah. Something is going on isn't it. I bet the ice cream shop being destroyed is what caused all of this."
"DOUBT IT!"
"Stop yelling N. I'm trying to think. Who is doing all of this?"
"Oh I don't know, maybe YOU!"
"We've been over this. If it were me, I would be making a spectacle of it."
"Then who?"
"Maybe that person."
Saneko pointed behind Nakialia. She turned around to see where Saneko was pointing, only to see a figure shrouded in a dark aura. As the figure walked, trees, bushes, and flowers would all wither away as soon as it came close to them.
"Holy crap! Who is that?"
Saneko squinted her eyes to see. The figure appeared to be a girl who had recognizable hair. The hair had green highlights that Saneko remembered distinctly.
"Oh, it's Criol."
Saneko still hadn't learned Chloe's name.
Nakialia started backing up in fear. Even if she was a spirit and couldn't be physically damaged by a human, the sight was horrifying.
"What are you going to do Saneko?"
"Oh, it's pretty simple actually. I can tell she has some screws loose so this should be easy."
Saneko walked up to Chloe. Chloe's eyes were lifeless and the air around the two was so thick that it was almost like they were standing in the middle of a solid concrete block. The two were so powerful though, that they didn't notice. Chloe's eyes met Saneko's, and she began to speak in a completely monotone voice.
"I've had enough. I won't live in fear anymore. I will kill you right here and now so I can return to my normal life."
Saneko ignored her and simply placed the palm of her hand on Chloe's forehead. Saneko's eyes then turned green and the aura almost immediately disappeared around Chloe. She looked lightheaded and stumbled around a bit before falling to the ground. The world returned to normal, and Saneko's eyes returned to purple. Nakialia ran up to the two and looked down at Chloe's body.
"What did you do to her?"
"I healed her."
"From what?"
"Being mentally ill. Duh."
"YOU CAN DO THAT?"
"There's nothing Demon Babe cannot d-"
Her sentence was interrupted by the boy running up and giving her a tight hug which caught her by surprise.
"DEMON BABE! YOU DID IT! I KNEW YOU COULD!"
She smirked, ruffling the boy's hair and nodded.
"Why yes. Everything under the heavens-"
Her sentence was yet again cut off by a voice. This one was completely unfamiliar to Saneko. She turned to see who was talking, and saw a girl with black wings. The same black wings the knights she had fought had.
Saneko, Nakialia, and the boy all looked over in confusion. The girl, who was Chrona, raised her right hand and it began glowing with a black flame. It looked very similar to Peacemaker, except it didn't have a purple hue to it. It seemed like this day was just going to be filled with constant trouble.
"Saneko, your existence is far too dangerous for this world. Consider me your executioner. I must put an end to you at once, for you are-"
"Bam!"
Chrona dropped dead that instant as Saneko fired off one of her usual finger gun blasts. Saneko had a unreadable expression on her face while Nakialia and the boy just stared with their mouths wide open.
"That's what you get for interrupting me."
"Saneko, who was that girl?"
"Who knows. Probably someone evil."
The boy looked up at Saneko with a confused look on his face as she, from his perspective, was speaking to the air.
"Who are you talking to Demon Babe?"
"Oh, it's a long story. I'll explain it some other time."
Meanwhile, in the country of Dying Star, a man entered the capital building. A sinister smile was on his face as he looked around. There was another man who was the janitor, sweeping up the floor. He looked up and gasped a bit upon noticing the unexpected visitor.
"Who are you?"
"I'll ask the questions here. Where is your queen? I need to speak to her."
"She's not here at the moment. She rarely is."
"Hmm. Very well."
He then snapped his fingers, and a flame began growing. The janitor gulped in fear and dropped his broom, running out of the building from the backdoor.
"I am very sorry Kray. You are right, there is something I didn't tell you. The smoothies... they hold no power."
"They don't?"
"No. In fact, I'm not trying to protect the smoothies at all. I can't explain all of this. I just don't feel comfortable doing so. I just can't have you drink one. Maybe one day I'll find the courage the tell you the reason why, but I just can't right now. But I will promise you this. When I kill Saneko and return, we can go back to how we used to be. That is something I will swear to you."
