Chapter 20

Saneko was sitting on a throne with one leg crossed over the other. She had two servants on each side of her. One fanning her with a giant leaf, and the other holding a banana smoothie with a straw that Saneko was drinking from. The room she in was essentially just a hallway that led to her elevated throne. There were white pillars on the sides of the building. Nakialia entered the building and looked around before walking up to her throne.

"What the hell is going on here?"

Saneko bit down on the straw with a smile. She replied to Nakialia telepathically so the servants wouldn't think she was crazy.

"I have achieved world leader status. Isn't it just amazing?"

"I wouldn't say it's amazing. I'd say that it shows how little this world has come to care. I mean, over the course of thousands of years, there has only been one new nation, and it's yours. That's ridiculous. And a throne? I thought you were the president, not the queen."

"I have changed the official name of the country to be, The Starian Kingdom. Dying Star is simply the layman's term."

Nakialia exasperatedly rolled her eyes. She pointed at Saneko's clothing, causing Saneko to look down at herself.

"You're wearing a school uniform. How is that queen attire?"

Saneko snorted and switched the leg that was crossed.

"It doesn't matter as long as my people love me."

"Do they though?"

"Of course. Just look. I put a window here so I could see this beautiful moment."

Nakialia turned to look out of the nearby window. Outside was a bunch of Starian citizens bowing down to the giant Demon Babe statue. Nakialia's eye twitched a bit. Just a few hours ago, Saneko was in her room watching a stupid power fantasy. Now she's a world leader sitting on a throne. Turning back to Saneko, she wondered to what extent Saneko's kingdom was recognized.

"How many countries recognize you right now?"

"All of them. I broke no international law, so Egypt and Sudan both agreed to recognize Dying Star rather quickly. And after that, every other country followed suit."

"In just the course of a few hours?"

"You may not believe it, but it's undeniable."

"Alright, then who's your ambassador?"

"My what now?"

"Are you serious?"

Saneko looked around. She knew what an ambassador was, but she didn't think she actually needed one.

"Are they necessary?"

Nakialia could not believe Saneko had gotten this far without even having an ambassador. How was this even possible?

"HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE UN WITHOUT AN AMBASSADOR?"

"I already said it. Clones."

"I... uh... wha..."

She at a loss for words. Saneko just sat there on her throne, sipping on the banana smoothie that was essentially being fed to her. She seemed completely incompetent, yet she was succeeding. Of course, none of this would have been possible without her powers. They essentially let her cheat the system and it wasn't even fair.

"Do you at least have an army?"

"I am my own army."

"I suppose I can't argue with that."

Without warning, a loud boom was heard, causing the entire building to tremble. The two servants fell to the floor and scrambled to their feet, running away with screams of terror. Saneko stood from her throne looking around. Nakialia also looked around, wondering what just happened. Saneko closed her eyes, focusing on her spirit that expands 10 miles past her body. She felt something that felt otherworldly, but still somewhat human.

"A beast is attacking."

Nakialia shouldn't have been surprised. Beasts wanted cultivation so badly, so them noticing that a brand new country emerged out of nowhere would have definitely led them to believe that cultivation was at hand.

"I almost feel bad for whatever this monster is."

Saneko was about to move, but the doors to the building opened before she could. Both Saneko and Nakialia stared at the door opening on the other side of the hallway. Saneko walked down the stairs that led to her throne.

The creature began walking towards them. Unlike all of the other beasts the world had seen, this one appeared to be humanoid. It had black stubby horns on its head, and messy black hair. It was wearing what seemed to be a black scarf around its neck, and a black cloak that covered its body. Noticing Saneko's horns the beast stopped in its tracks.

"Who are you? Why do you have horns. I don't since any magic from you. You are not a cultivator."

"Heh. You'd be correct about that."

"Those horns. They are different than mine. You aren't from this planet, but you aren't from mine either are you?"

"What are you talking about? I'm from this planet. I was born here."

Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings.

"Impossible."

The humanoid creature looked menacing at first, but was now seemingly afraid of Saneko. Nakialia looked at the both of them, not understanding a word either of them were saying. The beast spoke in a language that was not Earthly, yet Saneko responded fluently.

"What language is that?"

Saneko didn't even realize she was speaking another language. She knew that she could speak every Earthly language due to her hearing subconsciously picking up every single sound since birth, but she thought it was limited to the planet. Without replying, both Saneko and Nakialia came to the realization that her hearing was far, FAR, better than what they both had originally assumed.

"WHO ARE YOU? ANSWER ME!"

The creature was getting more agitated by the second. It reached out its hand and a magical circle appeared in front it.

"If you do not answer, I will kill you!"

Saneko, noticing that there was no one else in the building, realized that she had no one to show off too aside from Nakialia, but she was already aware of her powers. Because of this, she decided that she would toy with this creature as a way to show off to it instead.

"Go ahead. I dare you."

The creature let out sharp breaths angrily. Its chest heaved as it continued breathing. The magical circle in front of its hand was a bright orange color, and it only began to glow brighter. The creature had expected an easy target, but Saneko threw a wrench in its plans.

"DIE!"

It began firing orange projectiles at Saneko. They were so powerful that a large cloud of dust enveloped the entire building. Nakialia covered her face. The dust couldn't actually hurt her eyes or throat because she was a spirit, but it was an involuntary reflex from her human years.

"DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!"

It continued shooting these projectiles relentlessly. It couldn't risk the possibility of stopping until it was completely warn out. This didn't take too long though, as the creature began sweating and panting. The magic circle around its hand started to disappear. The creature took a step back, looking at the dust cloud, only to see the figure of Saneko walking out of it. It sharply inhaled upon seeing her.

Once she exited the dust cloud, she wiped off her suit.

"Damn. You got me all dirty."

HOW ARE YOU ALIVE! MY SPECIES HAS BEEN ERADICATING PLANETS FOR YEARS WITH EASE, YET ONE PERSON LIKE YOU CAN TAKE ALL OF THAT WITHOUT A SCRATCH?"

"I guess maybe you were right. Maybe I'm not a human in the traditional sense. Now go on, tell me your name."

Taking another step back, the creature narrowed its eyes, wondering what she was planning.

"I go by Thren. For what reason to you need to know my name?"

"Oh, just so I know what to put on your tombstone."

Saneko teleported right in front of Thren, grabbing it by the face and tossing it backwards. It let out grunts of pain as it collided with the floor behind it.

"ACK!"

Saneko, once again, teleported to it, this time behind it. She grabbed it by the hair and threw it to the ceiling. Thren screamed and collided with the ceiling, causing debris to crumble down as it fell face-first to the ground. Nakialia stared, also breathing heavily from the intensity of the situation. She hated when Saneko acted brutal, but this was a creature that had killed millions, possibly billions. It felt justified in this situation.

Thren tried to get up, its arms weak and shaking. Saneko walked up and stepped on its back, causing its arms to give and its body to fall back to the floor. At this moment, it realized that coming to Earth was the biggest mistake it had ever made.

"I think you should know that I am not just the queen of the greatest nation to ever exist, but I am also Demon Babe. There exits only one objective truth in this world. It's something that everyone is taught at a young age. Under the heavens all things will fall like humans, even the stars and the gods, but one thing is eternal, and that is me."

While the creature was in immense pain, it began to laugh, and it's laughter only grew louder the more it did so. Saneko looked down at it, not knowing what was so funny.

"What you don't realize is that I am immortal. You may be stronger than me, but you can never put me down for good. Just look, the wounds you have inflicted upon me have healed."

"Oh, okay, we'll test that then."

Saneko pointed her fingers at it in the shape of a gun.

"Bam!"

A hole appeared in the back of the creature's head. Blood splattered all over the floor and it was motionless. Nakialia held her breath, not knowing what would happen next. Saneko continued looking down at it, but its head started healing rather quickly, which was not what she was expecting.

"You truly thought that would work? My heart has been ripped out of my body before. I have been incinerated into ashes. I have even been dissolved into liquid. I have been through many fights over the course of my life, and I have healed from each other. My species is immune to death. What can an Earthling do. The only thing your planet has different in cultivation, but you aren't even a cultivator. I feared you, yet I had no reason too."

Saneko bit down on her cheek, hardly paying attention to whatever Thren was saying.

"Yeah yeah. I'll just do this then."

Saneko's hand starting radiating with the purplish black flame. With a quick slicing motion, she had chopped Thren's arm off. It let a sharp inhale of pain, but it started laughing again afterwards.

"As I said, it won't do anything. I will heal in mere seconds!"

"Okay, then why aren't you healing?"

There was a silence. Thren looked over at its dismembered arm, waiting for it to heal back.

"Hm? It should have healed by now."

Nakialia watched intently. Even though she couldn't understand what the two were saying, the events spoke for themselves. Thren was now in a panic, realizing its arm hadn't healed yet."

"WHY ISN'T IT HEALING!"

"You see. I've come to realize that when I use this purplish black flame, I can just win. I don't really have a name for the ability, but I'll just call it Peacemaker."

Saneko had no clue how this ability worked, she just knew it did. In truth, this ability worked on a fundamental level. It wasn't even a physical attack, it didn't even exist conventionally. The ability essentially engraved the concept of damage onto someone. Really, a person's resistances didn't matter if the very idea that they had been damaged took precedence over their immortality. In simple terms, Peacemaker didn't follow logic. Neither did Saneko.

With her flaming hand, she once again put her finger in the shape of a gun and aimed at Thren's head. Since she was now using Peacemaker, this would be an immediate win.

"PLEASE! HAVE MERCY! I PROMISE I..."

"Bam!"

Saneko looked down at the lifeless body and stepped off of it. She shook her head, almost melancholically.

"This sucks... the floor got all messy."

Nakialia walked up to Saneko and looked down at the body.

"Are you mad?"

"Why would I be mad?"

"No one saw you do this."

"Oh, well that alien guy saw me do it."

"It’s dead. You just killed it."

"Yeah. Usually I'd be pretty upset, but I'm literally the queen of a nation right now. How can I be that upset at the moment. I'm getting notoriety, and beggars can't be choosers.

"I guess that makes sense."

A few citizens looked through the entrance of the building to see Saneko standing over the body of the creature that had just attacked Babeland city a few minutes ago.

"OUR WONDERFUL QUEEN DEMON BABE HAS SAVED THE DAY!"

A crowd of people began cheering. Saneko turned around to see the group. Her smile widened and she acted as if it were nothing.

"Ah dear Starians. It is only my duty as your ruler to protect all of you."

The crowd began to cheer louder. During her fight with Thren, her conversation with Nakialia, and even right now, she's been playing it off cool, but in reality, she had never been as ecstatic as she was now.

"YES YES YES! I HAVE SO MANY FOLLOWERS! I KNEW I'D GET WHAT I WANT!"

A few minutes later, Saneko was back in her bedroom wearing her lazy clothes, drinking a banana smoothie and scrolling on her computer. Her mom walked through the door, and was surprised to see her there.

"Oh hi Saneko. I thought you were busy managing your nation."

"Yeah. I love the attention, but actually being there is hard work. I got bored and got a clone to do it."

"Oh. Are you still taking the credit though?"

"Hell yeah I am!"
