Saneko sat on the couch in the living room, pouting with a guilty look on her face as she looked down. Her mom was standing in front of her, scolding her for skipping school and being gone all day.
"You had me worried sick! I thought you got kidnapped or something."
Saneko glanced around, trying her hardest not to roll her eyes. The idea that she could be kidnapped was laughable, but her mom thought with her emotions, not logic.
"You not only skipped school, but you started showing random kids your powers. These kids will learn cultivation later in life, and thanks to you, they may start believing they can teleport like you."
"What is it with teleporting? I can do tons of stuff cultivators can't do, yet you mainly care about me teleporting."
"Stop changing the subject!"
With an exasperated sigh, Saneko looked back down. She knew how much her mom hated being talked back to, but she couldn't help it. Her mom was just very delusional. The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.
"I just don't know what to do with you sometimes."
Still looking down, Saneko mumbled to herself, upset at how serious her mom was being.
"Just let me have fun."
"What did you just say?"
"... Nothing."
"That's what I thought!"
Mr. Sarakana then entered the room, crossing his arms. Saneko knew that he would have something to say as well, so she buried her face into her hands.
"You know Saneko, I don't think you deserve a banana smoothie for a while. Maybe you should be grounded for a day."
Saneko immediately looked up with a distraught expression. That was the last thing she wanted to hear.
"NO PLEASE!"
"Well, you're late for school all the time and the year just started. You break our rules. And not to mention, you're supposed to feed Dyinglight, yet you put all of that responsibility on your mother now."
Mrs. Sarakana was holding Dylinglight in her arms and petting it. It looked very comfortable, and was almost asleep. She too looked very happy to be holding the cat.
"I don't really mind that one."
"Well regardless, the other two points still stand."
Saneko slouched in the couch like a child and crossed her arms.
"That's no fair!"
"It's more than fair. I think you should go to your room and calm down."
Saneko huffed and stood up, stomping off to her room. Mr. Sarakana knew her personality was the type to slam the door, which would not end well as he knew her strength.
"Don't slam the door! You'll destroy the entire planet!"
Saneko growled and closed the door quietly despite wanting very badly to slam it. She sat on the chair in front of her table and put her elbows on it before resting her chin on her palms. She was still pouting about the thought of being grounded.
"Stupid parents. They don't know anything."
She looked down and saw that she was still wearing her school uniform as she hadn't changed out of it yet. This gave her an idea. She quickly teleported over to her throne in Dying Star. She leaned back in the comfy chair and sighed contently.
"Ah. That's better. No parents to boss me around here."
She turned to look out the window to see people bowing to the Demon Babe statue. This put a smile on her face. She stood up and walked over to the window and knocked on it a few times. This caught the people's attention. They turned to see her standing there with a smile. All of them immediately started glowing with happiness.
"OUR LORD IS BACK!"
"DEMON BABE!"
The people ran around to get to the front of the capital building. Saneko walked back up the stairs that led to her throne. She sat on it again and crossed one leg over the other. It was her usual way of looking cool. Once the Starian citizens made it into the building, they all started bowing before her. Saneko smugly giggled seeing this.
"Hehehehe~"
"Oh great Demon Babe, we thank you for giving us such a prosperous land!"
Saneko cleared her throat, trying to stop giggling so she could act like the queen she was.
"It is my duty, no need to thank me... but go on, thank me."
"WE THANK YOU SO MUCH DEMON BABE!"
Despite being grounded, Saneko had Dying Star as a way to escape, and it was all she needed at this moment. It felt like it was her own little isekai world, kind of like a show she watched a while back called, 'Infiltrating This Other World With My Own Government'. At this moment, it felt like nothing could ever go wrong.

Suddenly, a random person burst through the front door of the capital building. All of those bowing looked over to see who this person was. It was a man who was sweating as if he had been running from something.
"EVERYONE! SOMETHING IS GOING WRONG!"
The people started gasping, but Saneko stood up from her throne and spoke in an authoritative tone.
"Fear not, for I shall save all of you from whatever trouble there is!"
She once again walked down the stairs, and everyone stared at her as she walked down the hallway to leave the building. The people stared in amazement as they were extremely impressed by how capable their queen was. As her dress shoes clicked against the tile floor, her ego grew to an even larger size. It was one of her favorite sounds.
The person standing next to the door was trembling in fear, he shook his head and tried to block the door so she wouldn't leave.
"No Demon Babe, do not leave. It is far too dangerous."
"Do you truly have no faith in me?"
The man stayed silent. Saneko put her hand on his arm and lowered it, walking past him as she did. He looked to see her leave, and he couldn't help but call out to her.
"PLEASE BE CAREFUL!"
Walking out to the streets of Babeland, Saneko looked around. She ironically hadn't really looked around her capital city too much. She did notice that it was far too quiet and desolate. There wasn't any destruction though, which left her confused. People must have evacuated and hid in their homes, but from what?
"Was that guy going insane or something? What's the problem here?"
Before she could say another word, she sensed something behind her. She involuntarily dodged as a sword nearly pierced her skull. She looked behind herself to see a knight with black angel wings and a grey mask that had a red eyeball on it. She faced it and put her hands in her pockets.
"And who are you? An coup trying to take over Dying Star?"
The knight spoke in a deep voice as it replied to her.
"No. We are here to kill you, for you know of a great item the mortal realm contains. You existence threatens the mortal realm however, so we cannot take any chances. We must end you."
Before she knew it, she was being surrounded by tons of these knights that all looked identical. She turned to see each one, but instead of being scared, she just scoffed.
"And you guys think you can actually defeat the great Demon Babe?"
"We don't think we can. We know we can."
The knight that had been talking to her raised its sword and prepared to strike, but Saneko simply put her fingers in the shape of a gun up to its head. The knight tilted its head up to see what she was doing.
"I learned something from the last time I had a fight, so... Peacemaker."
Her hand began glowing with the Peacemaker ability. The other knights didn't know what she was planning, so they stood still.
"Bam!"
Unsurprisingly, the ability pierced right through the knight's head, leaving a hole in its mask. It collapsed to the floor, and all of the other knights began raising up their swords and dashing towards her without waiting another second.
As they approached, they swung their swords at Saneko, but using her speed, she was able to maneuver around them casually. Seeing that she had evaded their attacks only caused them to grow angrier. Turning around, they charged towards her again. One of the knights swung its sword downward in an attempt to slice her head in half, but she simply raised her hand and flicked the sword, causing it to break into pieces. The knight backed off, but the other knights continued to surround her, also swinging their swords.
With a sigh she put her hand down and allowed them to hit her, just to prove a point. As the swords collided with her head, they all snapped in half the moment they made contact with her. The knights looked down at their broken swords. How could a being born in the mortal realm even comprehend their attacks, let alone survive one.
Saneko now stood in the middle of a bunch of knights with broken swords, however more knights started coming in from out of nowhere.
"Why are there so many knights here?"
They continued to surround her and they started raising their swords just like the previous knights did. They didn't seem to be able to learn a lesson.
"HER HORNS MUST BE HER WEAKNESS!"
The knight who stated that, swung its sword at Saneko's horns, but just like before, the sword broke as soon as it made contact with her.
"Huh?"
"Do you guys every learn anything?"
They clearly didn't, because the other knights began swinging as well. With a sigh Saneko looked around to see that she was completely surrounded, but what really caught her attention was that the people that were in the capital building were looking at her intently. Knowing that people were acknowledging what she was doing was enough for her to want to end this fight quickly like a power fantasy protagonist would. The swords that the knights had swung kept breaking one-by-one each time they collided with her head.
"Everyone, listen up!"
The knights stopped for a moment and everyone in the capital building held their breaths, wondering what she was going to do.
"When people are watching me, I'm not one to drag out a fight. If my life were a story, I would consider it to be a silly slice of life with an overpowered main character. That main character, is me, Demon Babe."
"Stop with that nonsense!"
The knights didn't care about Saneko's delusional main character syndrome. They simply wanted to kill her to appease their superiors. The one that spoke back to her still had an intact sword and raised it once again.
"Welp, I warned you."
Saneko lifted her hand and snapped her fingers. In that moment, the shockwave from the snap obliterated every single knight around her. It was so powerful, not even a single cell was left of any of them. It was if they were never there to begin with.
Saneko put the hand she had lifted back into her pocket and turned to the people who were in the capital building. She gave them a smile.
"Queen of Dying Star has destroyed more beasts that were attacking Earth. The Hero Foundation didn't even have time to step in."
This headline was global news within minutes. Saneko had already teleported back to her room and changed into her lazy clothes. Like what usually happened when she got excited, she on on her bed and buried her face in her pillow while kicking her legs.
"Hehehehehe~"
"Saneko!"
"Huh?"
She looked up from her pillow to see her mom standing at her doorframe crossing her arms in disappointment.
"I... uh... I saved the world."
"Yeah. You are also grounded for a week now."
The thought about having no banana smoothies for a whole week caused Saneko to go dizzy.
"No... this can't be."
Saneko began placing seals inside her mind at that moment. She usually restricted her powers willfully, but this was too much. This amount of distress flooding her mind alone would have caused immense destruction to the world, so she had placed that seal so that the fabric of space and time wouldn't shatter before her eyes. Her parents had absolutely no clue how dangerous their punishment could possibly be to the world around them. This was because they still viewed Saneko as their daughter, not a threat to reality.
Kray walked into the room where Chrona was, but she was passed out on the table, foaming at the mouth.
"CHRONA! WHAT'S WRONG?"
He ran up to her and started shaking her elbows, trying to wake her up. She started to speak in a weak and defeated voice.
"She killed them."
"Huh? That girl killed some of the knights again?"
"She killed all of them."
"WHAT? STOP LYING TO ME!"
Chrona stopped responding, she just sat there motionless. Kray looked over at the hologram. What was being showcased was the events of Saneko effortlessly snapping all of the knights out of existence, literally. He looked back down at Chrona, feeling both sadness and pity for her.
"What do you want me to do now?"
"..."
"Well?"
"I don't know... Just give me some time to think."
Kray stood there for a few seconds, but reluctantly nodded and walked out of the room, leaving Chrona there to think.
