A light descended to Earth, shining down on the dilapidated remains of Cintianta. An angel-winged knight with a grey mask descended alongside the light. There seemed to be a feeling of deja vu in the air at that moment.
The knight held a sword in its hand and was breathing heavily.
"Do you really think K2 is going to do any better than K1?"
Kray had lost all hope. Even though Saneko had only defeated one of their many knights, the fact that it was on accident made him wonder what would happen if Saneko actually tried. Chrona, on the other hand, seemed much more optimistic.
"Of course! Our knights are far too powerful."
"But we just saw Saneko essentially kill one without even trying."
"She didn't know what she was doing. There is no way she would know that it was her time manipulation ability that defeated K1. She didn't even know K1 existed. If actually faced with a knight, she would have no idea how to defeat it."
"I guess that kinda makes sense."
Kray saw where she was coming from, but he still doubted that it would work.
"Good. Now just watch. I told K2 to not waste time and try to find Saneko as quickly as possible."
Kray nodded and looked at the hologram, focusing all of his attention on it. He still doubted that anything would change, but there was really no other option. He still didn't even know what this mysterious item was that Earth had that was so important.
At Anetop Academy, Saneko was thinking about how people would respond to her entering the class. She knew things didn't work out as she planned before she reversed the timeline, but now things would probably be different. Usually she would saunter down the halls, trying to look as cool as possible, but this time she quickly headed down to HRS class. When she opened the door to the class, to her surprise, people stared at her immediately, giving her attention. She had thought that, even though she still showed off, since she didn't go as far as she did before, people wouldn't show her any attention. With Saneko, it was always two extremes and no in-between.
"They are looking at me? Does this mean they still recognize me?"
Saneko stood there for a while, looking around at the class. Noticing this, Mrs. Gaud, who was at the school today, pointed to Saneko's desk.
"What are you doing just standing there? Go sit down."
Hearing the teacher's words, she walked past the class and sat at her desk. She glanced over to the rest of the class to see if they were still looking at her, and sure enough, they were.
"YES YES YES YES! I'M STILL GETTING ATTENTION!"
Mrs. Gaud stood up from her seat and started writing on the chalkboard. She wrote the word, "projection".
"So, everyone. Today we will start learning about projection. This is when you project your magical power in the form of an animal. What projection does is see how well you can focus energy directly into the world around you. Whatever animal is the biggest will get the highest grade."
Mark stood up and pointed at Saneko.
"Make her go first!"
Saneko also stood up right when he said that.
"No need to shout. It is my pleasure."
Saneko smirked and reached out her hand to the ground. A spiritual image then began manifesting into reality. Saneko smugly looked at what was being created. It sparkled and was bright white. She began to get a bit more confused as the spiritual creature didn't seem to represent that of an animal. As it continued manifesting into reality, it was none other than Nakialia. Saneko was not expecting this. She scowled and spoke to her telepathically.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?"
"Woah woah. You're the one who summoned me."
"GET OUT!"
"What's gotten into you?"
"GET OUT NOW!"
"Geez. Rude."
All of the other students had perplexed looks on their faces. Since no one could see Nakialia, they just saw Saneko looking angry and staring off into the distance. Mark laughed to himself, finding this ironic.
"So this is just like the aura thing all over again. You pretend to have an ability you don't have. You know, when you used some wind manipulation to defeat me the other day, I thought that maybe there was a chance that you actually had some sort of power, but now I don't know what to believe."
Since Mark was the student council president, all of the other students started nodding in agreement. They trusted him as he was very capable and a top ranking cultivator. This only made Saneko more angry though. She turned her attention to Mark who had somehow managed to convinced the class that she wasn't powerful again.

"DAMN YOU N! LOOK WHAT YOU DID?"
"I didn't do anything!"
Nakialia was getting very defensive.
Saneko began to speak with her voice, addressing Mark's claim.
"You fool! You witnessed my power first hand, yet you still are insolent enough to not believe in me."
Mark was about to reply, but Mrs. Gaud stood up. She walked up to mark and patted his shoulder, trying to get him to calm down.
"Don't start a fight now. She's not worth it anyway."
Hearing those words made Saneko lose it. How were people in this school so denialistic? Nakialia knew Saneko well enough to see the anger that filled her eyes. She automatically attempted to calm her down before she did something rash.
"Now come on Saneko, don't go and kill everyone or whatever you're planning to do."
Saneko didn't respond. She just closed her eyes and attempted to summon another spiritual animal. This one was purple and manifested itself behind her. Unlike Nakialia, the students could see this one. They all looked up as the beast materialized. It was quite large. Mark and Mrs. Gaud also backed up a bit. The spiritual creature had two heads, both resembling a dragon, and was semi-transparent. The problem was that it continued to grow. It began touching the ceiling and breaking through it. The students were staring in a mix of awe and fear. They new they should move and run away, but this was unlike anything they had ever seen before.
Mrs. Gaud was getting upset. Her mind wasn't on the power Saneko was displaying, but instead the damage being done to the ceiling.
"STOP IT SANEKO! YOU'LL BREAK THE ROOF!"
Saneko refused to stop at this point. She was too hellbent on proving herself.
"I'LL EXPELL YOU IF YOU DON'T STOP!"
Within a second, Saneko had sat back down at her seat and the beast had disappeared. She really didn't want to get expelled. Mrs. Gaud was honestly not expecting her sudden change in attitude, and neither were any of the other students.
"Umm... okay. Maybe we should have done this in the gym."
Mark shakes his head and reaches out his hand to the floor as well. He didn't really care about what the teacher was saying. He just wanted to prove that he was stronger than this demon-horned girl. He focused all of his magical power, and in just a few seconds, he began sweating. On the ground, a spiritual creature began manifesting. The rest of the class shifted their attention from Saneko to Mark. He was straining himself a lot to create this creature, but he didn't care.
It started to grow very big, and it was now more visible than before. It appeared to be a dog of some sort, lacking any real distinguishing features. It grew quite large, surpassing the height of everyone in the class, but it's growth stopped there, not reaching the ceiling. Mark didn't want to accept that this was the limit to his energy projection.
"COME ON! JUST A LITTLE MORE!"
But no matter how much he tried, the creature wouldn't grow any larger. He was holding his breath, but ended up letting go. He started catching his breath, breathing heavily. The creature instantly disappeared and the class started clapping for him. He didn't feel like he deserved the praise though. He simply looked away and sat down.
Mrs. Gaud scratched her forehead. She was impressed, but also still in disbelief about Saneko's creature. She pushed those thought aside though and walked to the door.
"Alright, let's head off to the gym to-"
But before she could finish her sentence, Cynthia stood up excitedly.
"Ooh! Ooh! I wanna try!"
She also reached her arm out and began summoning a spiritual creature. The class looked down to see what was being manifested. Unlike the other two, this one was a bunny that grew to be around half her size. She was visibly disappointed by it.
When the bunny disappeared, Mrs. Gaud didn't waste any time to begin speaking.
"ALRIGHT! LET'S GO TO THE GYM!"
The other students started standing up and heading to the door. Saneko looked over and let out a breath before beginning to stand up as well, but Mrs. Gaud noticed this and spoke up to her.
"No, you stay there. You already went. Same goes for you two."
She turned her attention to Mark and Cynthia. They nodded and stayed in their seats, both of them looking rather disappointed.
Nakialia finally took the opportunity to speak with Saneko.
"Since I'm here, I thought about asking you how Dying Star is doing?"
Saneko naturally responded telepathically since there were still other students in the class.
"Eh, I haven't been sitting on the throne for a while so I don't really care."
"What? It could be in a civil war right now for all we know."
Saneko pulled out her phone and started typing something. She looked down and smacked her lips as she read something on her phone.
"Nope. No civil war. In fact, it has the highest economy in the world and is ranked as the number one most peaceful country."
"HOW?"
"Because they worship me, Demon Babe."
"Well how much money are you making off of this?"
"Dunno. Haven't really set up a bank account system for myself. The money just recycles itself."
"Don't you want the money?"
"Nah. Just the fame."
"You ignore money while your parents are in the trenches?"
"Stop exaggerating N."
Cynthia looked over to Saneko and cleared her throat before speaking up to get her attention.
"Hey Sarakana!"
Saneko looked over to see Cynthia.
"Sup... I MEAN *ahem*... What might you want mortal?"
"How powerful are you exactly?"
As Cynthia asked this question, Mark looked over to Saneko as well. He was interested in hearing Saneko's answer to this question as well. Nakialia facepalmed, knowing Saneko would answer in an overly exaggerated way.
"You see. I am Demon Babe, and thus my power transcends your imagination. If I were to put it into words, your minds would turn to mush."
Cynthia rolled her eyes and leaned back in her seat.
"Come on, just answer the question."
"Yeah answer!"
Mark was now standing up again. He began walking over to her, looking irritated.
"Just answer the damn question!"
Cynthia was surprised to see Mark so upset. It wasn't like him to be this way. He was usually very calm and patient, but it seemed like Saneko had really gotten on his nerves.
"You can teleport, let's not forget that. How is that possible huh? Explain!"
"It is simply because I am Demon Babe."
"JUST ANSWER!"
"Heh. Do you really need another answer? It is clear that I am the only one who has teleportation. The answer is simply because I am me. The great and almighty Demon Babe."
Mark scoffed and turned around. He walked past his seat and exited the room. Cynthia wasn't expecting him to just leave like that.
"Where is he going?"
Saneko started to think about the differences between her situation now, and how it was before she reversed time.
"This is perfect! I'm not getting expelled, and people are believing in me just enough for it to seem like an anime."
Nakialia, who was still there, rolled her eyes responded sarcastically.
"Let me guess. You got this idea from a show called 'I Left My Computer On And It Sent Me To An Alternative Universe's Magic Academy' or something."
"No, but that one's in my top five."
