Another unsightly creature fell to her blade. Several others fell to vipers made out of nature energy. It hds been a while since she had become an adventurer and had earned the name of Jade Viper. The name suited her and she loved it.
She covered her blade in poison and cut down more flying pests.
“Hey Jade Viper we’ve been exterminating these things together for almost 2 months now, how about a date to celebrate?”
She ignored the man that had accompanied her and helped in exterminating these creatures for the last month.
“Oh come on! Don’t be so cold! We would make a great team! You and me together! Both tailed beasts!”
“I told you that I’m not interested in you and that I’m looking for my love interest.” The jade Viper had come close to finding Agnis, but he seemed to have noticed and escaped. She hadn’t been able to locate him ever since, until recently. It was rumored that he had taken up residence in Alledra, the capital city of the Aquini Kingdom. She decided to get rid of this two tailed fairy dog first.
“Come on! We both know that you and I are a better match! I bet I could kill him in one punch haha!” Pavlo said as he let out his obnoxious, boisterous laugh.
“How about you stop yapping and help me fight these things off, why are they so hell-bent on coming after us anyway?” The Jade Viper complained.
“Oh I thought you knew Darling.” Pavlo said while licking his lips.
“I am not your darling.” the Jade Viper said as she flung daggers at Pavlo who let out a pathetic yelp.
“I am sure they’re attracted to your beauty, just as I did! Is it true that you vixens have such sexy bodies because gravity doesn’t work on you?” Pavlo asked with a lecherous look on his face.
“Both that and for seductive reasons, answer the question please!” She threw more poisoned daggers at the yapping pup.
“Haha it’s simple sweetheart! While the fairy dogs are mainly male, fairies in general are mainly female, they are all here to get a piece of me! But my heart already belongs to you! I originally planned to go after the idol Noelle, but you captivated my heart!”
“That doesn’t explain why they're also coming after me!” She created more nature energy vipers and eliminated another group of supposedly fairies.
“Oh but haven’t you noticed my dear Hisui? We fairies love spirits.” He licked his lips, which intimidated her. Hisui used [Jade Viper] and strangled him.
“Owow ok! Sorry! Please don’t poison me! Fairies are weak to poison!” Pavlo yelped as all his intimidation instantly dropped and he started whimpering.
“I’ve noticed. Now stop fooling around and help me clear out this nest. I always expected fairies to be more… elegant.” Hisui had difficulties concealing her disappointment in fairies, both these abominations and this whimpering pup were supposed to be fairies. This fact had motivated her to wipe out as many fairies as possible.

“Right let me go, and I will show you why I’m called the Under Dog!”
“Isn’t it because you always hide under stronger adventurers, like you’re doing now? I’ve counted 6 fairies that have been killed by you, while my count is nearing the 6 digits.”
“Don’t worry, as long as I can defeat that guy you’re interested in and win your heart it will be fine! Now become stronger by my inspiring speech! Gogo Hisui!” Pavlo started making strange barking sounds which made the fairies concentrate on one spot.
“Please call me by my adventurer’s name…” Hisui killed off the concentrated swarm of fairies while wondering how this fool ever expected to defeat Agnis. He might not be aware that she is looking for the Silver Torrent, but that was not her problem. Hisui dropped into stealth and left Pavlo behind.
“Hey! Where did you go! Don’t be shy! I promise you will become my main wife!”
The nest had been obliterated. It was inconvenient that her foxfires didn’t work on them. Hisui’s assassin training had proven to be a lifesaver once again. There was one thing that she didn't like about being an assassin, though. She teleported and walked into the AA of Nelfim and looked at the role names.
She was fine with the name Silent Night, but Toxic Donkey? Hisui decided that she will personally deal with whoever was responsible for this embarrassing name. If she didn’t know that Agnis was the Silver Torrent, she would have suspected him to be the Toxic Donkey. It was something she would have expected from him, sacking his own name to embarrass a large group of people.
“Excuse me, do you have the current location of the Silver Torrent?” Hisui inquired, and the receptionist adjusted her glasses.
“I’m sorry, he is notoriously hard to pin down. There are rumors that he can fly at great speeds or teleport great distances, since the timeline of sightings often don’t line up. He had been seen near Zanyr desert a month ago, but recent sightings of him have mentioned Alledra. He might pop up somewhere else today or tomorrow.” The receptionist said, as she was looking through records of recent sightings.
“Thank you, I will try my luck in Alledra then.” Teleports, it was something she had recently mastered. It is one of the many things their race had to get good at. Hisui was starting to get concerned as none of Agnis' feats suggested that he was fighting as a nine tailed spirit fox, besides teleporting around. Her fear was that his development might be stunted as none of the spirit fox abilities were intuitive.
Hisui activated her Elgards eyes and observed the past; Agnis had visited this place. He had grown up well. She followed him as he inquired about a quest he had accepted. An escort quest? The idols? Realization set in. That the vixen from Tails of Symphony got to him first! She didn’t seem like she would be of any competition, but Hisui was wrong.
“I should have known… What a blunder. Underestimating a vixen never ends up well. I don’t have any time to kill fairies. It seems I have to get a bit more forceful.”
“Ahh there you are, my dear!”
Hisui punched Pavlo who dove at her while making creepy gestures with his hands.
“I have no time for you. I’m in a hurry.” Hisui used [Jade Serpent], hopped on its head and made it go east. Rivers and jungle were one of the many obstacles that needed to be traversed to get to the capital.
“I hope that the elves will let me through…”
