Thousands of shades get slipped and blown to our location while Gregory [Shadow melds] them and I use [Flash bombs]. The shades start to thin in number. We get a bit closer to Boshi town and even though it is supposed to be quite hot here neither Gregory nor the two mothers seem to react.
Hey, just say so when it becomes too hot. Hmm, now that you say that it doesn't seem to be any hotter here. Can you get closer, I will tell you when it’s getting too hot.

“It feels like sunbathing!” Troll also put her hands in the beam. So, we don't feel anything but these girls and their mothers feel like they’re getting hit by a sunbeam or something. It doesn't seem to be an attack, although we have baseline better defenses than humans. But this is a really weak attack even more so by Raishin’s standard. Yeah, he doesn't know how to hold back so the only conclusion is that this isn’t an offensive spell.
Does Raishin even know any non-damaging spells besides his glitter? Uhh, as far as I know, he doesn't. Nope, just my glitter!

“Oh… never mind…” Anyways, Raishin, don't use this unless it is included in a plan, especially now we don't have an idea what this does, who knows maybe it buffs our enemies. Ok! I had to cancel it because it was absorbing a lot of energy.
The thing is Ted got hit by it. Yeah, that wouldn't have been a problem because I could regenerate it but… It didn't do any damage to me. What?
So, I have a suspicion because if you think about it a lot about our group is odd. The only exception I can think of is your fire magic before you got it under control but besides that even though our teamwork is good, we never hit each other with our magic, and if we did it didn't do damage or automatically avoided us. Also, why are our special racial abilities bleeding over into each other? You can’t be affected much by time-related stuff so only you should be able to remember all this stuff, but here we are. I have a high resistance against curses and all the curses those roots dropped on us aren't affecting any of us. Wait! We got cursed?
Well, whenever we kill a root, we get some curses dumped on us. What! Are we going to die? Nah, I think Gregory’s race ability is carrying us here.
Your race ability is carrying us the hardest here but we don't know what Raishin’s one is and maybe this is it, which means Raishin’s race ability is carrying us the hardest, or if it isn't that it might be related to this beam of light. So, what do you think it does?
I think it causes either one of these or both. So, the first thing is, besides Agnis old fire magic we never hit our allies in a malicious way, when I use wide-ranged attacks I have to put extra attention in hitting you guys instead of that it just hits you. Hmm, same with my frost magic, If I casually freeze the whole town, you guys get left out.
Secondly, it makes our specific traits bleed over to each other. Hmm, Let's test it. Do you mind Ted? Go for it! Ted braced himself and I shot purple lightning at him. He took it and it seemed to do nothing.
Wow Well, only Raishin is likely to hit allies, Ted is more melee focused so nobody is at risk there, Agnis and I have great control but if this means that we don’t have to be afraid of Raishin’s nukes… Hey, Raishin zap me! Sure! He drops a red [Lightning bolt] on me and I feel nothing.
So, his attacks only become a problem when we try to block it with frost or shadow magic? Seems so and that is all we've been doing in the past. What about that sparring match where he fried me?
Uhh, maybe a loophole? But that's not important. Hey! Does it work with physical attacks? Ted punches Raishin in the stomach, Raishin flies into a rock wall and seems to be in pain. Ugh! Nope.
“You guys are insane!” Well, this is useful to know, I just think the only thing we should watch out for is Agnis’ fire and frost magic since it saps mana. I guess your abyss magic too, it doesn't sound like a good idea to test if we can’t get hit by that... I don't know why my fire magic is an exception. I shoot a controlled [fireball] at Ted. It does no damage.

Hey, Agnis this thing is really hot! Owowowow! Ted burst into flames after getting hit by the fireball. I doused him in water.
That is odd. Well, I guess we can just relax in Agnis’ and Raishin’s nukes now, that takes some stress off.
Yeah, let's go back. I will teleport us this time! We got back to the camp. It seemed like I have to correct myself, it wasn't a camp anymore, it looked like a small village.

I was technically still eating the soup. Ted and Greg went out with the girls to cull some shades while I decided to rest
