I stood in front of him waved at him poked him even punched him but he didn't lock on to me. He just kept staring forward and moving slowly. I tripped him but it took him half an hour to get up and he still didn't lock on. I just started attacking him. He seemed to react but got sucked back into the root.

This sucks! Agnis said he made the sisters lock on him by using fire magic, probably because they were really weak to it. Ted used a taunting roar and Azu slammed hers to the ground. I shot a [Fireball] at Mr. Slowpoke, yelled at him, and tried to slam him into the floor but he was heavy. He didn't lock on. Maybe I should listen to Greg and just one-shot him. I decided to use my secret weapon and if that didn't work I would just Fusionado him.

It is a good thing he isn't fighting Agnis, Agnis has bad matchups against lasers. I noticed why these things are stupid fast. If it wasn't for my intuition, I would have been a Raishin beehive. Something told me that I wasn't going to land any [Raishin kicks] today. I decided to test out my new skills. I used [Chain Lightning] but it looked like a normal lightning bolt.

How lame. I used [Updraft] and launched Mr. Slowpoke into the air.

Ooh, this is cool! The problem was it seemed to give him high evasion because I couldn't hit him anymore.

“Yaaay!” She tamed Agnis… Is there a possibility that it is providing this prison with mana? It is very complicated and strong; I can imagine it takes an insane amount of mana to keep it running. It isn't draining the environment from mana so it must come from somewhere. You think her hat is in the pink broccoli? But we didn't see any after we blasted it.

It reminds me of the message Agnis deciphered, maybe that tree was a dummy or an ‘echo’ of the real tree. The real tree should be visible after this root is destroyed, that is my theory. Let's go with that, it is not like we have anything else to go by, and if that's not the case Azu is strong enough to deal with whatever appears, she could still annoy a goddess hat less.
