I was placed under house arrest. I lost the boss battle as expected. Bosses are designed to lose but taking on a 3t, a 6t, an elf and a Sarian goddess was too much for me. My phase 3 did a number on them though and my phase 4 left only Della conscious, who kicked my ass, but I didn’t think I was far from winning the fight. I managed to knock Raishin out of his stupid Raijin mode. Greg and Della were the only threats once Nilah and I had started to throw frost magic around. It wasn’t enough, unfortunately.
Hablena’s siblings were dead. Hablena is stuck in the god's realm but probably still alive and I wondered if that was the right call. I had created a hasty plan, but there was another reason I saved Hablena. If Noelle ever gets sent to the god's realm, we have someone there who can help out. At least, I hope that she will help out.
Those siblings seem to have brought a lot of destruction upon the continent, especially the jungle. Della said she would find the other body of Bellia and fix it up. This nonsense convinced me; there is something here on this continent that is attracting the attention of all this bullshit. I don’t believe that they all chose this continent out of all the others.
Granted, a new one had popped up close by so that one might have also been affected. I wanted to find out and explore, but as usual I had too many problems. One of them was that I am not allowed to leave the city for a month. They do know that this won’t stop me, but that’s only if I have things to do. So, they made sure that there was nothing to do for me.
I went to the balcony and looked at the lake the city was floating on. Greg, Raishin and Elliana were currently fixing the rumors of an extremely difficult and brutal dungeon. They told me to get rid of it, but I refused. The dungeon is still standing. I did fix the hole in the ceiling, though.
I left some random treasure in the boss room. The current last boss was a convincing illusion of myself. I had the idea of having the winners of the boss battle be the new last boss, but that would be too difficult. It might still be too hard, but it was rumored that an extremely powerful artifact was sealed away there. The frost magic that I spread throughout the dungeon would absorb mana that gets thrown around there to sustain the dungeon.
It also had a mechanism to kick slow and boring teams out. I have no problem with people dying in my dungeon, but I had placed some recording crystals throughout the dungeon that I had swiped from the Yttroz Industries when they were rebuilding Alledra. I want to occasionally watch adventurers struggle for my entertainment. No boring watchthroughs allowed!
The AA and the Yttroz Industries have become more active. The Yttroz Industries is helping to reconstruct destroyed cities. The AA is sending teams to exterminate fairies, kill strange monsters, survey destroyed areas, explore new spaces that have popped up etc. The world has started to move again.
I looked at the tablet in my hands and wondered if the technologically advanced civilizations had arrived here with the last dimensional merger. Chiara mentioned that it started out as a mix of 4, but a 5th one merged later. Or was our current society just terrible at spreading this out? Our transport was garbage tier besides the teleport gates.
The Ytroz industries had recently started to create roads for those car things. But what I've learned was that those cars are expensive too. Is it possible that the recent 6thmerger had brought in more advanced civilizations?
Will we have to fight them? Or what other advances will they bring? I ignored the thousands of commissions that were cluttering my inbox. I had gotten this tablet when I started blacksmithing and selling items to the Yttroz Industries and have never looked at it since. It was now helping my boredom. It had news about what’s happening on the continent and videos of people being idiots and recording their failings for attention.
The state of the continent was quite bad so it was interesting to keep up with the recent news.
Someone had put in a request to form a party to tackle the new ‘Nightmare Dungeon’. That is what they had called the dungeon I created. I grinned and looked up some comments people had about it.
It seemed to be a hit because it’s one of the few dungeons that can be entered. Most others need ancient languages, but this one can be entered if you know Kaledonian. The answer to the simple entrance question was posted. I had used a line that I had heard Raishin say a lot. It was: ‘When a pheasant daddy and a boar mommy love each other very much, what will they create?’ The answer was obviously Pheasantboar. But it seemed to have given the first teams a lot of problems.
Then there were various strategy guides on how to solve Boshi town. They only covered 3 bosses which was the current progress. The most controversial one was ‘Killing Molerock’. One group argued that it would trivialize the encounter, while the other argued that the intent was to not kill him. I should’ve added penalties for killing Molerock.
The strategy guide recommended bringing a Toxic Donkey because the Paul and Paula encounter would become a living hell. The guide on the spirit sisters was the longest. None of them seemed good to me. Only one team had beaten them with only 6 members but they couldn’t find the other bosses.
I saw a comment from the ‘Obsidian Prince’ warning everyone to not attempt this dungeon because it will either end in death or deep regret and the community responded by challenging team Hourai to beat the dungeon with a recording crystal.

Who is going to tell them that I made this and that it will be a piece of cake for us. Even if I didn’t create it, we’d clear it with not too many difficulties. They will find out either way the moment they reach the end boss.
More news. There was a severe shortage of lightning spirits. The electronium problems were solved, missing spirits were the new problem. Not surprised. They either got dragged back to the spirit world or eaten by fairies. The Amber Spire was mentioned, and I wished them good luck with that one. It made me wonder, though.
-Hey Greg I have a question.- - You are not allowed to leave the city for at least 1 more week!.-
- Ok then my next question is. Are there tailed beasts responsible for ‘pest extermination’?- - I don’t know I don’t know what the single tails, two tails, five tails and eight tail do exactly.-
-Weren’t the 8t interdimensional taxi’s or something?- - Well yes but doesn’t that sound too simple, it also doesn’t sound like something they will have to do constantly.-
-Fair point. So, you think one of those are the pest exterminators? - -I don’t know if that is even a function, but I do remember that the 2 tails love to hunt anything that has high numbers.-
-So they are the pest exterminators, then? Could use some of them to get rid of these fairies.- -That is an interesting point. Unfortunately, they aren’t here, else we would have noticed.’
- But the number of fairies has drastically decreased. Maybe there are some down here and doing their job.- - Let’s hope so. You still can’t leave, though. I have contacted your cousins. I will be sending them after you if you escape.-
-Ugh, asshole.- - Shall we talk about the fact that you made an extremely dangerous dungeon and also beat us up?-
- I don’t understand why this is such a problem, you guys won! - - Yes and taking 2 full days to take you down with a six tailed lightning tiger, an elf and a Sarian goddess at our side suggests that this was hard-earned! You’re such a pain in the ass to fight. Please don’t ever do that again…-
- I will do my best.- - Ugh nine tailed spirit foxes and their quirks… The dimension is getting close to the bare minimum of energy required to sustain itself and the newly added dimension. It is a pity that we couldn’t return Bellia’s energy to the dimension, but Kal seemed to have more energy than expected, still not enough, but things might get stable in about a week.-
-That’s good to hear because we have a new problem. I just read that there’s a severe shortage of lightning spirits. Now I don’t care that the humans need this for power, it does mean however that this applies to any other type of spirit.- - So we need to get more spirits back to this side? How do you even want to do that?-
- Dunno. I’ll ask Gibi and Narwhani.- - You mean Guyani and Nayani. You did say you managed to get them to this side, can’t you do the same with the other spirits?-
- I did that with the help of an overpowered support spirit and an overpowered 7t, it’s not something I can reproduce just because. I will have to pay them a visit soon.- - I would like to help, but Raishin and I are quite busy…-
- It’s fine. I will find someone to take with me. Maybe Elliana wants to come.- - Elliana is at the elven village with her father… Maybe you should hop by there before you visit the spirit sisters, and Bywen might also be able to help.-
- Oh that’s a good idea! I will do that! Thanks!-
I spent the remaining week going through the news. The population of fairies was drastically dropping and nobody seemed to be knowing why, but they were glad that it happened. I had mixed feelings. If they’re getting killed off that’s a good thing if they found a way to the spirit world, that’s a bad thing.
Effort went into terraforming and farming and it seems everyone was doing their best to bring the continent to its former state.
