Year 583 of the New Kaledonian calendar
Two weeks have passed since the dimension ripped open and another dimension had crashed into ours. If this is a nightmare, it’s the longest, suckiest, and most realistic nightmare ever.
Greg and Raishin had found out how to do their role but that meant they were busy now. Apparently, our world is starved of energy so they’re addressing that problem while I’m still stitching up this gigantic tear in the dimensional fabric.
I noticed some parts being fixed over the Aquini kingdom so I assume my cousins are working on it. It’s not as neat as mine, which isn’t neat either, but it's better than nothing. Besides that, I had gotten a flood of concerning Teleroad messages and private messages from the AA. It was a mistake to hop by the AA in Gittrian…
So there is that thing Raishin and Greg are working on. Then a canyon and a strange village had spawned on the elven village where Elliana comes from and it was inhabited by dark red bulky aggressive minotaur things. Elliana is contemplating whether she needs to return home or not.
Bywen seems to be kicking ass but they’re at a disadvantage. Both parties claim that that is their home turf. I don’t blame either of them but I’m biased toward the elves. Unfortunately, this isn’t a unique problem because similar fights are happening all over the continent and possibly the whole planet so I assume everyone has this problem.
So, there is that problem with the elven village. Io and Toxic Donkey still haven’t resurfaced, Thalia is still missing. My cousins wanted me to stay with them until things cool down. The Aquini Kingdom had won the war against the Igrini Kingdom, to get another problem of groups appearing from the other dimension.
It seems the Aquini Kingdom was having issues because it was fighting on 2 fronts. Against the Igrini Kingdom and against the spirit stalkers who wanted independence. Wiping out the Stalker capital, helped them immensely, and now the empress of the Aquini Kingdom wants to personally thank me… what a pain.
Now why does she know this? Vice Daddy couldn’t shut up and is also pushing for me to become an A-rank adventurer. He has more incentives to organize that assessment now. I think this is a trap because I have the feeling, he wants to instantly bump me up to S-rank. That can wait.
An invite from the idols, as usual. Vinny wants to meet up. So far, the only invitation I am going to accept. There is a letter of challenge from Leefa, which I instantly deleted. Dimitri Handsome, who wants to appoint me as an imperial advisor to help him out with this mess.
An invitation from Yzs, a concerning message from Hisui that gave me shivers through my spine and some Tails of Symphony fans that want me dead.
If all this seems much… it is. And if this didn’t suck enough. This hole still needs to be fixed, which doesn’t seem near completion after 2 weeks, there are many more holes. But what’s worse is that this is slowly starting to fester and I had noticed some eyes glaring at me from the void.
I had spotted some red dimensional holes in the distance. One of the few people I actually want to get in contact with, Neia Mikazuki, is nowhere to be found. In short. This is all one big nightmare.
There is conflict everywhere. Nobody had time to recover from Yzs disappearing and its impact on the continent, now we have this to deal with and a new continent that had appeared quite close to Kaledon.
I wonder if everything that could go wrong has happened but we’re still alive so it can get worse. I sat on some dimensional fabric I just repaired and petted Nilah. This is the beginning of the end, isn’t it?
If someone could tell me what to do in this situation, it would be nice for him or her to appear but I’m not sure if anyone knows what’s going on. Which reminded me of Isi. I might be able to speak with her again if I go back to the desert. I forgot where that ruin was though.
She was weakened though. I don’t think this event made her stronger… It doesn’t hurt to try. I decided to take a break from fixing this hole and decided to take a trip to the desert. I wanted to pull on my [Dimensional Anchor] and go to my home in the jungle but hesitated. Will this work? So many things have been displaced or are different now.
I was still in the area of Gittrian. Gittrian had luckily been spared from this fuckery, maybe the jungle wasn’t as lucky. I used [Fade] and pulled on the [Dimensional Anchor].
The teleport made me appear in my home but despite my barriers, it had been taken over by monkeys. Big bulky monkeys with 4 arms. The area was still the same, except that a large bulky monkey settlement existed around the water basin. Half of it was submerged in the basin though.
I hate this! Not my favorite place! I thought I understood the territorial dispute between different groups, caused by this event. I just realized I didn’t. This is my spot; they leave willingly or by force! What are the jungle dragons actually doing? Some home invaders have entered their turf. I activated my Elgards eyes and looked over to their home.
This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
They were just chilling and doing whatever they normally do. Calm down Agnis, they are dragons, this is normal for them. I wanted to clean up but I almost stepped on monkey poo. Alright, screw this! Enough monkey business you guys are going down!
I appeared from [Fade] and physically kicked the monkeys out of my house. I expected noise but they were talking some language I did not understand. This actually makes sense, different dimension, different language. I will label this ‘accident’ as a ‘misunderstanding’ caused by the language barrier.
I ‘accidently’ kicked more monkeys into the water basin and ‘accidentally’ froze them. They were acting as if I was the invader but they were. I was here first! They used strange magic but it still was the same magic system we use. This piqued my interest. Why is their magic system the same? And it’s also as inefficient as ours.
This awakened the scientist in me and the desire to wipe them out disappeared. The fairies also had the same magic system but they were also from outside our dimension. What is magic? Is it a universal phenomenon that’s consistent throughout other dimensions?
I would have to converse with these monkeys if I want to find out. What a pain, wiping them out is easier. I tried to talk to them in almost any language I knew. Surprisingly they seemed to respond the most to Hourai. This didn’t stop me from kicking their asses. I was still pissed that they had used my home as a toilet.
“Hoo! Is there a possibility we can work something out?” An old-looking monkey spoke to me in rusty Hourai.
Why in Hourai’s name can you guys understand Hourai?
“Hoo! A flying bird woman on fire had taught our ancestors this guymyat ago. Wait, that’s not the Hourai word.” Years? Centuries? Millennia?
“Hoo! That last one!” I see and not many bothered picking it up, did that bird woman look something like this?
I made an illusion of my mother in her younger years. The other monkeys bowed down to her image. This isn’t awkward at all.
“Hoo! That’s her! Give us a moment for worship!” This just gets weirder and weirder. So my mom just popped into their dimension, taught them Hourai and probably did something to have them worship her. I bet she hated it and fled. I’d like to think I’m not too different from my mother. It could probably happen to me too.
Right, I think I know enough now. I have a demand and a question. Why is your magic the same as ours? Did my mo… the bird lady teach you this too?
“Hoo! our goddess is your mom!? Hoo! We did it we have entered the realm of the gods!” He spoke his monkey language and the monkey population went wild. I facepalmed. I messed up.
Right, this might make it easier. I [Transformed] into Agn è s Oures. I look quite similar to my mom like this. The monkeys went crazy.
What can you tell me about your magic system, my mother never spoke about you. Long things short. They didn’t know. I’m not completely surprised because if they would ask me this question I would also not know. I asked them to leave and they would gladly leave but did want another spot to live. I just wanted my spot back so if they moved their settlement to near the top of the waterfall it would be fine. The bottom of the waterfall is mine though.
“Hoo! So, this is not the realm of the gods?” Nope sorry, just another shitty regular dimension.
“Hoo! So, we still aren’t safe from the Zuqukilu and the Mosian gods?” Right, new dimension, new gods… at least thank you for reminding me of this shitty possibility, what are zuqukilu?
“Hoo Haa! They are monsters! They almost took over our world and stole the breath of the planet!” I have no idea what that means but that doesn’t sound good. What is the breath of the planet?
“Hoo Haa! They are beings like you!” Like me? what… what do you mean?
“Hoo! I don’t know but normally they’re invisible!” I got goosebumps but I didn’t have time to think over it. The big tear that also extended over Zanyr and further to the west ripped open even further. The festering became worse and thousands if not millions of creatures dropped out of it.
“Hoo, I don’t feel so good… Guys! They’re near!” The elder monkey realized that most didn’t understand Hourai so well and repeated it in his monkey language. Everyone was in panic. I stood nailed to the floor as I observed a fairy invasion in real-time.
This is a nightmare, right? Can I wake up now?
