The woman slammed her staff upright on the ground. Sharp spikes of ice emerged from the ground where the staff had been slammed towards the handsome man.
The handsome man scoffed as he flew into the air. The moment he went into the air, however, he found that there were several dark clouds, forming a circle in the sky with a hole in the center.
A large ice boulder came out of the hole, traveling towards the handsome man with great momentum.
He gritted his teeth. He was too close to the ice boulder and there was no way he could dodge it in time.
He immediately held his hands in front of him, his palms facing the ice boulder as he launched a fireball towards it, breaking the ice boulder into numerous pieces. Afterward, he turned around, only to see a dozen ice shrapnel that was about to hit him.
There was no time for him to dodge or execute another supreme art to stop those ice shrapnel. Instead, he repositioned his body at the last moment to minimize the damage the ice shrapnel was going to cause him.
One hit him at his right shoulder while the other one hit him in his legs, and then one in his arms. The rest flew past him, unable to hit their target. An icy layer was then formed around the place where the ice shrapnel had hit him, rendering those parts immobile.
"Hmph!" he snorted as his body was lit aflame, vaporizing the ice shrapnel lodged in his body.
The woman waved her staff as a snow-tornado formed near the handsome man, slowly sucking him in towards it.
The handsome man expelled a large amount of flame from his body, scorching his surroundings whilst simultaneously turning the snow tornado into a fire tornado. He had turned the woman's supreme art and used it against her.
"What now? Do you still have some tricks up your sleeve?" the handsome man asked with a smile.
The woman spun her staff with both, creating a powerful blizzard that snuffed out all the flames in the area. The woman then disappeared in the blizzard in the handsome man's eyes due to the low visibility.

Even though he was a cultivator and could see things much better than mortals, the blizzard that was created by the woman just wasn't a normal one. Each snow contained a tiny amount of the woman's spiritual energy which was slowly hindering his movements and making him weak.
This process was gradual and he estimated that it would take at least an hour before his movements slowed down to the point that he could no longer fight.
He didn't need one hour to beat her.
While the handsome man was struggling to see in the blizzard, the woman could see him as clear as day.
Her staff disappeared, replaced by a cold, crystal clear bow. She held the bow properly while an ice arrow formed in her free hand. Then, she aimed at the unknowing handsome man while she was under the cover of her blizzard.
She narrowed her eyes as she aimed at the handsome man's forehead for a few seconds. Then, she released her hold on the bowstrings, sending an arrow straight to the handsome man's head.
"Where are you? Resorting to hiding now, are we? Afraid that you won't stand a chance in a fair fight with me?" the handsome man said while looking around, trying to find her.
He was oblivious to the fact that his life was already in great danger at that very moment,
The sound of the arrow traveling at great speeds was masked by the sound of the blizzard. That was why the handsome man totally didn't notice the arrow coming at him... until it almost hit him.
The handsome man quickly stepped back. The arrow that was supposed to hit his forehead had instead, grazed him at his temple.
His entire body went cold.
If not for his extraordinary senses, he would've been dead from that.
Right after dodging the first arrow, another arrow almost hit him at the back of his head which he dodged once again at the last second.
This continued on until the twentieth arrow. During the whole time, the handsome man was able to dodge most of the arrows, albeit barely, while some had successfully hit him in various parts of his body. He wasn't just trying to dodge the woman's attacks, he was also trying to memorize where each arrow had come.
When he finally found a pattern in her movements, he finally made his move.
"Over there!"
He rushed over towards where the arrow came from after dodging it. He was able to dodge that arrow right away since he had been expecting her to fire from that area and now, his prediction was right.
As he got closer, he saw a figure in the blizzard.
"There you are!"
He punched the figure straight in the stomach with his hands set aflame.
"Hm?"
He was bewildered when he saw what it was that he hit.
It was an ice sculpture with the same appearance as his companion!
He suddenly felt chills in his back. She was behind him!
He was tricked! She anticipated his actions and now, he was going to pay the price for it!
Before he could even turn around to face her, an ice arrow pierced him right at the back of his head.
"Ah... this..."
He fell face-first on the ground as he drew his last breath.
