Almost two weeks had passed since his last encounter with Yun Yi, Yun Ling was busy training himself and his students, and also visiting Yue Dongmei regularly thrice a day.
After he met Yun Yi inside Yue Dongmei’s room, Yun Ling came to his father and asked him for someone trustworthy to guard Yue Dongmei while they were away. He also told him about Yun Yi’s suspicious activities. Because of that, Yun Zhan too had started keeping an eye on Yun Yi and let his son borrow one of his most trusted men to protect Yue Dongmei.
“Young Master… Clan Master had told me to protect Young Miss’ caretaker while you’re gone,” the protector said after greeting Yun Ling.
Yun Ling returned the greeting then gave him an order. That was to never let anyone in unless it wasn’t him or it wasn’t someone authorized by him. He didn’t want to let Yun Yi come in again since he didn’t know what was going on in Yun Yi’s mind right now.
Speaking of Yun Yi…
They no longer met each other ever since their last encounter in Yue Dongmei’s room. Apparently, Yun Yi had stayed inside his room after that and didn’t come out for more than a week already until now.
Yun Ling shook those thoughts out of his mind as he got up from his seat. He was done cultivating for the day.
He took out two scrolls from his storage ring, one containing the Thunder God Flash Supreme Art that he gave towards his clansmen and one that had been modified by them, the minor version of the Thunder God Flash Supreme Art.
Yun Ling laid the two scrolls side by side and studied their differences. In the past few days, he had been trying to study the two supreme arts since there was much to learn from the one that his clansmen had modified. He wanted to improve the Thunder God Flash Supreme Art since he felt that it could still go further. To do that, he wanted to first understand how his clansmen had changed the supreme art and maybe he could apply it to improving the supreme art in the future.
In any case, whether learning it would help him in improving the supreme art or not, it would still be nice to have some good knowledge about it.
“The speed of the minor version one had gone down quite a bit… but even so, it could still allow one to use extreme speeds albeit not as exaggerated as the untampered one,” Yun Ling muttered to himself. “When using the minor version one, they could display speed thrice their original speed without the use of the supreme art depending on how versed they were with it. The original version of the Thunder God Flash Supreme Art, however, could allow one to have speed greater than the speed of sound. The difference between the minor version and the original version was like heaven and earth. Even so, it’s already good for the untalented one to learn the minor version.”

He kept observing the two more and more. Then after a few minutes, he returned the scrolls back to his storage ring.
“Senior Yun Mingyuan and the other seniors had really made a good job this time,” Yun Ling said.
He couldn’t help but think. If he was the only one trying to adjust that supreme art so that his other less talented clansmen could use it, it would’ve taken him months or years to make. Moreover, there was no guarantee that the quality would be the same as the one that Yun Mingyuan and the others created. In fact, it might be a low-quality one. However, with Yun Mingyuan and the other’s cooperation, they only did it in around a month or less, and it was even of good quality.
While he was contemplating about the Thunder God Flash Supreme Art, he felt a sudden build-up of spiritual energy from where Yun Xia and his students were.
Yun Ling’s eyes widened in surprise. The build-up of energy wasn’t something bad. It was something he was familiar with. He quickly came over to them to check if his guess was right.
In the middle of a clearing on the top of the mountain, Yun Ling saw the seven children gathering around Yun Xia.
“Whoa! Amazing!”
“As expected of master’s daughter!”
“How did you do it? Tell us how you did it!”
All of them gathered around her as they bombarded her with questions after questions with big smiles on their faces.
Upon seeing that scene, Yun Ling already had an idea of what happened. Still, he acted like he didn’t.
“What’s going on here?” he asked as he came over to them.
“Master! Young Miss Yun Xia had finally reached the Foundation Establishment Realm!” Shi Zhong responded to him right away while his friends were still busy with Yun Xia.
Yun Ling’s face brightened.
“Is that so? Haha, Xiaxia, how do you feel?” Yun Ling asked her.
He felt really good when he heard that. Though he had already known that even before Shi Zhong told him, hearing it from them first hand made his heart gush in happiness.
“Papa! Yun Xia feels really good and very strong!” Yun Xia said as she clumsily tried to punch the air in front of her.
A little gust of wind was then created as a result of her punch.
Yun Ling smiled at that.
In only two weeks, Yun Xia had managed to get into the Foundation Establishment Realm. If it was an ordinary child, it would have taken them months to achieve that. In fact, some took a year before they could even reach the Foundation Establishment Realm.
“Whoa! So strong!” the children said in amazement when they felt the gust of wind from Yun Xia’s punch.
“Good, good!” Yun Ling said as he slowly came over to his daughter. Then, he patted her on her head as he said with a warm smile on his face that he would never show to anyone but his daughter, “Congratulations, Xiaxia. You’re now officially a cultivator.”
“Yay!”
Though Yun Ling would refer to his daughter and his students as cultivators after they had finished their baptism, it was only when one got into the Foundation Establishment realm that they could truly be called cultivators.
Now, Yun Xia had done that.
She was finally a real cultivator.
