Since he had ascended into the Fate Dominion Realm, Yun Ling had always wondered when he was going to meet the one he spoke to in his vision.
Now, he finally met him. The young boy in front of him whose eyes were brimming with knowledge and wisdom... not to mention, he possessed a very ancient voice.
All these observations led Yun Ling to believe that this boy... was definitely no boy but an old monster who had lived for a very long time. As for how long, he had no idea.
Yun Ling had met many cultivators who had lived for a long time already. Most of the powerful cultivators he knew were several hundred years old. Even his grandfather was one hundred seven years old. Then, he also met a few, more powerful cultivators who were more than a thousand years old.
Those more than a thousand years old cultivators had more or less the same eyes as the boy in front of him. He reckoned that if a normal person saw the boy's eyes, they would know instantly that he had lived for a long time. If they saw those cultivators who had lived for a thousand years though, they wouldn't know.
The only reason Yun Ling noticed the wisdom behind those old cultivators' eyes was because of his unique eyesight thanks to his Divine Eyes. If not for that, he wouldn't have noticed. The boy's eyes however were more pronounced than theirs, making it so that even a common man would notice it.
Also, what the boy said bothered him.
"More than a hundred of my kind? Surely... you must be exaggerating," Yun Ling said.
What the boy meant by his kind should be the Divine Beings.
One had to keep in mind that there were only three Divine Beings every ten thousand years. If he said that he met more than a hundred of his kind, that meant that he had lived for at least hundreds of years.
Even amongst cultivators, no one could live that long including immortals unless...
The boy in front of him was a god!
The boy didn't have any reaction as he said, "Believe what you want to believe. I don't need you to believe in me."
Yun Ling narrowed his eyes.
"Why did you stop us?" he asked.
He was wary about the boy in front of him. He didn't know who he was or what his intentions were, not to mention, his strength but he had to assume that the boy had power equal or greater than that of a Sacred King if he had to trust his gut.

"I didn't stop you, it was you who stopped yourself."
Yun Ling's eyes twitched.
"Fair enough."
Though he said that, he couldn't help but complain in his mind. If in the first place, the boy didn't say anything, they wouldn't have noticed his presence and also wouldn't have stopped.
Suddenly, he heard Snow Fang growl. Just as he was about to ask the wolf what was up with him, the ground shook violently, sending him and Snow Fang off balance as they heard an ear-piercing explosion from where the battle was.
"What the?!" Yun Ling exclaimed while Snow Fang yelped.
"Young Master, this is the Immortal Willow Tree's doing!" Snow Fang said through his Divine Sense.
The boy was the only one who maintained his balance as he looked ahead.
"So it starts. The Immortal Willow Tree finally felt threatened with the combined forces of the various major worlds in the universe," he said to himself with a deep sigh, gaining Yun Ling's attention who had just regained his balance.
"What do you mean?"
"The people from other worlds had teamed up with the people in this world to eliminate their biggest threat, the Immortal Willow Tree," the boy said. "The Immortal Willow Tree was not taking them seriously at the beginning but now, it finally deemed them worthy to be its opponent."
Right after saying that, Yun Ling's eyes constricted as he saw thousands of huge branches rising out from the ground all over the Thousand Mountain Valley.
His throat went dry.
Back then, a single branch already made him go all out just to escape from its clutches. Now, this? The only positive side in this was that he wasn't one of the targets this time. It was the massive army consisting of every power in various worlds who was fighting the immortal right now.
"Will we be able to win against this?" Yun Ling asked subconsciously. He only meant to ask that question in his mind.
Snow Fang didn't say anything but he also had the same question in his mind.
Yun Ling was quite worried. He didn't care about the other people but his family and clansmen were in there. If their army got eliminated, his family would also die.
"The Immortal Willow Tree won't be able to defeat them. Perhaps, if it had gone all out from the start, it can. But now, it is unlikely."
"How sure are you about that?" Yun Ling looked at him doubtfully.
The boy raised a brow at him.
"I won't say I'm sure... after all, there's nothing absolute in this world. Anything can happen. But... I can say that there's an extremely high probability that the immortal will lose in this war," the boy said. "However, the real threat in this war isn't the immortal."
Yun Ling's furrowed.
The immortal wasn't the real threat? If not, then what could it be? Could it be a being much stronger than an immortal?
Just as he thought of that, a dawn of realization suddenly hit him.
"Don't tell me...?"
"Your guess is right. It is the gods," the boy said gravely. "The gods from above will come down here to join the war sooner or later."
"Gods?"
Yun Ling's heart thumped.
The immortal alone was already dangerous enough, now he was telling him that gods would join the war? Those beings hadn't even been seen in their world for the past ten thousand or so years! Who would be able to stop those beings if what the boy said really came true?
"Child, follow me," the boy said as he began walking ahead.
"Where to?"
The boy stopped for a second.
"To awaken the slumbering gods."
