Xuanyue sighed as she walked outside of the Tibetan Scripture Pagoda for the first time in twenty years.
Back then, there were still some old monks from the same generation as her alive. Right now, the Shaolin seemed quite unfamiliar to Xuanyue.
After walking around a bit inside of the temple, she returned to the Pagoda, time was a cruel thing. No matter who you were, you would eventually be swallowed by it.
One hundred and forty years later.
For the last one hundred years, Xuanyue focused herself solely on Buddhist scriptures, completely ignoring everything else. A sigh escaped her lips as she looked at the old man in front of her.
At two hundred and ninety years old, Xiancai looked like an extremely frail old man, no similarities with the extremely vigorous Innate Grandmaster from before could be found.
"The next abbot has already been chosen, I'm going to the Demon Suppressing Pagoda. Maybe I can at least injure some of the demons there using my life," said Xiancai as he smiled, having already accepted his death.
"You don't have to worry, I'll follow you there soon enough," said Xuanyue with a chuckle.
A sigh escaped Xiancai's lips as he heard this. He then walked out of the Tibetan Sutra Pagoda and walked towards the Demon Suppressing Pagoda.
As he arrived at the pagoda, the old monks overseeing it saw him.
They did not say anything as they knew what the abbot wanted to do.
As he stepped foot into the pagoda, it seemed as if Xiancai was transported into a separate space.
One day, Xuanyue walked outside of the Tibetan Scripture Pagoda, she then put up a task at the task hall.
Several years later,
As Kongming entered the Tibetan Scripture Pagoda to sweep the ground for today, when he looked in the corner, he could see a brush alongside a special grey robe sitting on the side.
He donned the robe before beginning to clean the scriptures using the brush.
On that day, three great demons inside the Demon Suppressing Pagoda died, and several other ones were severely injured. This vastly decreased the damage to the formation guarding the Pagoda, allowing senior monks to repair it.
Inside Xu Yue's sea of consciousness.
An orb with a holy glow to it appeared in Xu Yue's sea of consciousness. Sadly, neither Xu Yue nor Yue were conscious at this time and they missed it.
Xu Yue looked at the small booklet in front of her, and a desire for it filled her mind.

She took it in her hands and looked at it 'Heavenly Demon Scripture' was written on it.
Ever since she was five years old, when Xu Yue first heard of martial arts, she had an extreme desire for them.
Sadly, her body was born too weak for her to practice martial arts. No matter how many good teachers her family brought for her, no one could do anything about it.
"Finally," mumbled Xu Yue. She then began reading the Heavenly Demon Art.
A determined look appeared on her face after she finished reading the first chapter of the art.
"Lifeforce," mumbled Xu Yue.
Three days later,
Ming Yun looked with terror at the dry corpses of his wife and young daughter, tears filling his eyes. Just as he wanted to go call someone, a slender hand suddenly gripped him by the neck and lifted him up.
His body then began drying up at a rapid pace. He was dead a few moments later.
Their house began burning a few moments later.
"It's not suitable for me to do this in cities," thought Xu Yue as she felt her body being filled with power. She could finally practice martial arts, so what if she became a demon? She didn't care in the slightest.
Three months later,
Xu Yue moved with dexterity. She had finally managed to master all the techniques she had wanted, right now she could finally be considered a true martial artist.
Several days later,
At this hour, Zhongming village was usually bustling with activity; children would be playing outside while adults prepared to go to the fields, but an eerie silence was all that remained.
Over three hundred dead bodies littered the village, no one had escaped, the only living beings that showed someone had lived here not long ago were the animals. It seemed as if the monster that had come here despised them.
"I'm doing this for martial arts," thought Xu Yue, but still, as images of the screaming villages appeared in her mind, a smile appeared on her face. Others might have thought that she was being influenced by the art, but she knew better.
She instinctively knew that this was not the work of the technique, it only brought her innermost desires out, letting them loose of all restrictions.
One year later,
Chu Feng looked at the order in front of him and frowned. These types of missions ware extremely annoying.
"Investigate the disappearance of several villages alongside the eastern side of Xinyun prefecture," mumbled Chu Feng as he read the order.
"Do you people want me to investigate some beast?" thought Chu Feng.
He then continued to read.
"You will have access to five 2nd rank martial artists and fifteen third rank martial artists," as he read this part, a solemn look appeared on Chu Feng's face.
If the only goal was to cause trouble and distract him, they would not have been able to dispatch this many martial artists.
"Troublesome," thought Chu Feng.
As Chu Feng walked inside a certain village, a terrible feeling washed over him. The villagers around him slowly began falling over, even he a 1st rank martial artist, felt himself being weakened.
He then saw it.
A woman wearing a suggestive robe was slowly walking over to him. Even as he felt his strength weaken, he could not help but look at her curves, shown by her robes. He then regained his senses and tried to run away, but he could only watch as his body began slowly drying up.
Xu Yue smiled as she felt the life energy of those around her enter her body, nourishing it.
"The amount of people in these villages is too small and they are way too weak," thought Xu Yue.
She then slowly began to walk towards Chu Feng before placing her left hand on his dead body.
As she did so, his body slowly turned back to how it was when he was alive, the only diference was the fact that his eyes turned to a red color.
Chu Feng opened his eyes. When looking at Xu Yue, the fear had been replaced by worship, she was his Goddess, his mistress, his everything. He would gladly give his life for her if it even remotely helped her.
"Mistress," slowly said Chu Feng as he got used to his body once again.
"Prepare these materials for me," said Xu Yue before handing him a list.
"When you gather all of them, I will find you," said Xu Yue before disappearing.
