205 : Heaven, Earth and Man

Hearing the Third's words, the second couldn't help but slightly shake her head.

"It's not that I do not trust myself, you can't be so unreasonable as to expect her to survive without any help against someone at the level of a Rank 1 Immortal," said the Second, causing the Third to slightly smile.

"Are you really sure, I mean, you haven't ever been truly pushed to the limit, have you, you might never know how much of her potential she might have been able to dig out if we didn't interfere," said the Third as she stared at the second with a smile on her face.

Hearing the words of the Third, the Second couldn't help but fall into thought for a few moments, before letting out a sigh.

"If we were further away from our goal, then maybe I would have allowed you to not interfere, but right now Is not the time for something like that," said the Second, looking at the Third's beautiful face with a smile on her face.

Hearing the Second's words, a frown appeared on the Third's face.

"Do you have any idea who interfered in that timeline?" asked the Third as she looked at her senior, at the mention of this being that had interfered, even the Third which was usually quite unrestrained still felt someone worried.

After all, although she trusted that Xu Yue could withstand most things thrown at her, even she still had a limit, although one much higher than normal cultivators.

"At this moment, I only know that the Dao Ancestor, Pheonix Ancestor, and the Dragon Ancestor were not the ones that interfered, other than this, I know nothing else," said the Second, causing the Third to suddenly respond.

"Have you asked the First about this, if anyone in all of existence knew who was interfering, it would be her," said the Third, prompting the Second to shake her head.

"No, but I planned to go talk with her after checking in with you and seeing if I could obtain some useful information from you, but it looks like weren't able to find much," said the Second before suddenly disappearing.

...

An unknown amount of time later,

It had been a second, or perhaps trillions of years since the fourth had begun sleeping, as such, a large frown appeared on the Fourths's face as she suddenly felt an incarnation enter her timeline.

A few moments, the Fourth was laying in an open field in a random mortal realm, blissfully sleeping as she ignored the outside world

But even though the Fourth was somewhat annoyed at the Third's arrival, she still knew that the latter would not disturb her if not for the fact that something extremely serious had happened.

As such, the Fourth suddenly disappeared from the field, appearing above it a moment later.

In merely a fraction of a moment, the Fourth suddenly disappeared, appearing in a small room with a table in the middle of it.

"I need to speak to you about it," said the Third, as she stared at the fourth, who still looked as if she could fall asleep at any it.

...

At this very moment, just as the Third and Fourth had begun talking, another meeting had also begun taking place in another time and space.

"Aren't you going to change to a more suitable form," asked the Second as she looked at the enourmous group of stars in front of her that spanned an immeasurable distance.

"No, this is alright," said a slightly mechanical voice as it suddenly popped up in the Second's mind.

Hearing that, the second suddenly let out a sigh, and then, a moment later, the Second's body suddenly began expanding at an exponential speed.

In only a few moments, in only a few minutes, the second had already grown to the size of a region from the Three Thousand regions, not stopping in the slightest and continuing to grow larger ad larger.

Merely a few moments after, the body of the Second had reached a completely immeasurable size, so much so, that right now, she was finally relative in size to the nearly infinite sea of stars that was the First.

"Someone's interfering in Fourteen's timeline," said the Second before continuing on, giving the first some more details about the situation.

A few moments after the Second finished talking, the First fell into thought for a moment before going to deciding on something.

"Wait a little while, I'm sending an incarnation to go meet some old guys, as long as something interesting is happening, you can bet those three will know it," said the First as an infinitely small speck of light appeared in front of it, before disappearing only a few moments later.

Inside of their group, everyone, from Second all the way down to Thirteen are very curious about the First's so-called friends, but sadly, for some reason, the first did not talk much about who these 'friends' of hers truly were.

Although most of them were quite curious about these beings, since the First nor these beings wanted to meet them, as such, none of them forced things.

At the same time, in another timeline,

Staring at the three enourmous beings, who were still just as powerful as back then, the First couldn't help but let out a sigh.

Back when the First had just become a Rank 9 True Immortal and was recklessly using her incarnations to wander through timelines, she had discovered three different special beings in a certain timeline.

Even though the First had become a Rank 9 True Immortal at that, facing these beings, she still felt like her life was threatened, something she had not felt for countless years.

But sadly, for some reason, none of these three beings seemed to grow in power at all, as such, after eons of cultivation, the first had slowly but surely surpassed the three.

"So you aren't going to tell me anything," mumbled the first as she looked at her three old friends, Heaven, Earth, and Man, who were drinking wine under the shade of a tree.

Hearing her words, the three old men couldn't help but let out some laugh.

"Don't worry, since you aren't already dead, then things aren't so bad," said Earth as he, took a gulp of wine from his gourd.
