182 : Future

Looking at the large valley that was appearing in the distance, Meng Xue couldn't help but feel a bit apprehensive, causing the young woman next to him to smile.

"Don't worry, my teacher is very nice," said Qin Luli as she looked at Meng Xue and placed her hand on the little boy's head, causing the latter to blush.

Feeling the hand going through his hair, Meng Xue tried his best to resist, but sadly, the strength diference between him and his senior sister was far far too large.

Even though Qin Luli wanted to continue bullying her new little junior brother, the two of them had already arrived at the sect.

Seeing this, Qin Luli lowered the flying treasure to the ground before walking off it.

"Follow me, and make sure to not go off on your own for now, otherwise you might run into a dangerous formation,I don't want to have to go and find another junior brother that would take too long," said Qin Luli as she looked at Meng Xue with a cheeky smile on her face.

Hearing the first part of his senior sister's words, Meng Xue couldn't help but be touched, but sadly, when the second part exited her mouth, Meng Xue had to do his best to resist spitting out a mouthful of blood.

"Understood senior sister," said Meng Xue, walking behind Qin Luli as the two passed through a translucent barrier, causing Meng Xue to suddenly feel as if he was about to die.

Suddenly, Qin Luli took out a token from the spatial bag on her waist, suddenly, a white light emerged from the token before enveloping Meng Xue, causing the dread he felt in his heart to suddenly disappear.

"Senior sister, was that the effect of the formations?" asked Meng Xue, who now unconsciously stuck closer to Qin Luli.

"Yes, If I didn't use my token, nobody would have been able to save you from death, the formations here were arranged by the founder of our sect," said Qin Luli, as some pride inevitably appeared in the tone of her voice.

Looking at his senior sister, who seemed to be under no pressure, even though he was close to death, Meng Xue couldn't help but feel suspicious in his heart.

'Was it that difficult for you to find someone with my talent, if you are so willing to endanger me?' thought Meng Xue, now unconsciously moving away from his senior sister, unaware of the thoughts of his senior sister.

Remembering the face of her junior brother, who seemed to have been deathly afraid, Qin Luli tried her best to not change her expression, suppresing her laughter.

'I need to give him to teacher, otherwise I might scare him to death,' thought Qin Luli as she slightly sped up.

As his fear disappeared, Meng Xue couldn't help but look around.

Unlike how it seemed like from the outside, the inside of the valley seemed huge, rather abnormally huge, as the two of them walked, Meng Xue would occasionally see some cave abodes, but even so, the distance between cave abodes was nothing like that of a normal sect.

After several more minutes of traveling, the two disciples arrived at a small mountain, before stopping.

Suddenly, Qin Luli took another token from her spatial bag, sending her spiritual sense inside of it.

Without warning, Qin Luli and Meng Xue disappeared from the foot of the mountain, reappearing in front of an extremely handsome cultivator.

"Qin'er, couldn't you have just walked up the mountain, you have the token, so you can enter the cave abode without me having to take you here," said Luo Ye, Qin Luli's and soon Meng Xue's master.

But even though Luo Ye posed a question, looking at Qin Luli, who was about to say something, Lue Ye waved his hand.

"You can go out," said Luo Ye as he put his hand on his forehead, letting out a defeated sigh.

At a speed far beyond what Meng Xue could react to, Qin Hulli suddenly disappeared, causing Lue Ye's sigh to become even bigger.

...

Sometime later,

"You can come in," said a female voice, prompting Lue Ye to walk into the room.

"Ye'er greets teacher," said Luo Ye as he bowed to Meng Lin, who was sitting at a table, drinking a cup of tea.

"Hmm, you can rise," said Meng Lin as she raised her eyes, looking at now looking at Luo Ye.

"You shouldn't neglect your cultivation base so much, although our sect majors in formations, the cultivation base isn't something to be ignored, otherwise that disciple of yours might soon surpass you," said Meng Lin as she looked at her disciple with a smile on her face.

Hearing his teacher's words, Luo Ye couldn't help but shake his head, as he thought about Qin Luli's temperament, the scene described by his teacher seemed further and further away.

Suddenly, Luo Ye took out a jade slip before handing it to his teacher.

"Teacher, I have accepted 234 disciples, including 13 inner disciples, as well as taking in another personal disciple," said Lue Ye as Meng Lin read the jade slip.

"Hmm, how is your new personal disciple?" asked Meng Lin still engrossed in the jade slip.

"Although somewhat worse than Little Qin, his talent is still very good, if he works hard, he could surpass her," said Luo Ye at the same time as Lue Ye was talking, Meng Lin's eyes suddenly lit up.

"Who was the one that created this formation?" asked Meng Lin as a formation a grade two formation suddenly formed behind her.

As soon he saw that formation, Luo Ye's eyes couldn't help but darken.

"This formation was created by Little Qin," said Luo Ye, causing understanding to suddenly flash in Meng Lin's eyes.

"Using formations to imitate the effects of pills, as expected of the most talented second-generation disciple, I hadn't thought about that direction, though it looks like the aphrodisiac created by the formation was too weak to affect you," mumbled Meng Lin, seeing that Luo Ye's Yang Essence was still intact.

Hearing his teacher's words, Luo Ye felt like he had eaten a fly.
