177 : Vision

Feeling his right eye ache from two months ago, Li Fengfeng did not hesitate any longer as he moved inside of the forest using his arms.

After entering the forest, rather than staying on the ground, Li Fengfeng used one arm to move himself, using the trees around him as a method for him to help outmaneuver his future opponent.

Suddenly, Li Fengfeng moved from one tree to another, as the tree he was formerly on was suddenly smashed into pieces by the huge wolf.

As he flew in mid-air, Li Fengfeng suddenly shifted his head sideways before grabbing hold of the huge claw that had attacked him and using it to change direction.

At the same time, swathes of blood suddenly poured out of the wolf claw, as Li Fengfeng's sword almost tore it to shreds.

'I need to finish this now, when it's still surprising at my new power,' thought Li Fengfeng as he suddenly grabbed hold of a branch and turned back towards the wolf.

Without any hesitation, Li Fengfeng threw himself at the wolf, as a glint flashed through his eyes.

'Left claw, bite, right claw,'

After not showing any signs of a counterattack for a few moments, the wolf suddenly smashed at Li Fengfeng using his left claw, which had already been injured.

Even though he wanted to take advantage of this weakness, Li Fengfeng still did fully go in, and thankfully so at that.

Looking at the wolf, which had taken a large bite of air, Li Fengfeng suddenly strikes, swirling in from the left side, taking advantage of the size of the wolf before slashing at it's neck.

But sadly, as the wolf moved, Li Fengfeng did not get a good strike at the neck, only managing to slash the wolf along its large body.

Suddenly, a horrified expression appeared on Li Fengfeng's face.

'Is it crazy?' shouted Li Fengfeng in his own mind as he watched to wolf bite at him, and by extension, it's own body without any hesitation.

"I was too careless," thought Li Fengfeng as he floated in the air, having pushed himself away from the wolf, but sadly for him, he was just a tiny distance away from escaping.

As he had pushed himself away, Li Fengfeng's head was the body part closest to the wolf, as such, Li Fengfeng rotated himself, so as to make sure his head would have not been bitten off.

But sadly, as if from a trick of fate, the wolf barely glazed Li Fengfeng, but this was more than enough to throw him of his balance and have him land in a bush.

The wolf then awaited for it's adversary to come back up to fight it, but after a few moments of him not coming out, the wolf began slowly approaching the bush.

Suddenly, a blood-red wave of light suddenly escaped from the bush before cutting the wolf in half, and only a few moments after that.

Not even thinking about it, Li Fengfeng took the stick, which had impaled his right eye out of it, causing some blood to suddenly follow.

After that, Li Fengfeng looked at the wolf which had been slain by him, no, in his current circumstances, the word look was not an appropriate description, as Li Fengfeng no longer saw anything after having both of his eyes destroyed.

One week later,

Hearing his steps echo more and more, Li Fengfeng traveled through the small cave entrance, not having anything to lose and not afraid of death.

...

After walking away from Hao Xifeng, Xu Lanfeng began walking through the sect, when suddenly, she opened her eyes and stared into the distance.

"Someone discovered one of the secret realms," mumbled Xu Lanfeng before continuing to walk through the sect.

...

Right now, a young girl dressed in some course fabric was staring at the entrance to a cave.

"Since when has this thing been here?" mumbled Xia Jingfei as she stared at the cave entrance, for several years, Xia Jingfei had walked upon this very same path over and over, and not once did she see this cave.

Even though she should have been cautious as her mother had taught her, curiosity still got the better of Xia Jingfei, as such, the young girl stepped into the cave.

After walking for about twenty meters and reaching the end of the cave, Xia Jingfei couldn't help but let out a sad sigh as she put down her herb bag.

"It's just a boring empty cave," shouted Xia Jingfei, causing her voice to suddenly echo inside of the cave.

Doing that a few more times, Xia Jingfei picked up her herb bag before beginning to walk out of the cave, but as she wanted to do so, Xia Jingfei suddenly disappeared from the cave, never to be seen again.

...

As she was sitting crosslegged, two humongous forces were battling it out in Lin Xue's body.

When one force gained the upper hand, Lin Xue would use her strength to help the other force, returning them to balance, and if the other force gained the upper hand, Lin Xue would then help it as well maintaining the delicate balance between the two.

For over a thousand years, Lin Xue has been maintaining this balance, as the forces become more and more powerful, but even though it had taken some time, Lin Xue felt like the end was nigh, as the forces slowly began fusing with each other bit by bit, beginning a hundred years ago.

Suddenly, an incarnation appeared in front of Lin Xue, being absorbed by the main body merely a few moments later.

As the memories of the incarnation popped up into her mind, a smile appeared on Lin Xue's face as she looked through what the incarnations of her, Liang Xiaoling, and Xu Yue talked out.

Even though she could not yet exit seclusion with her main body, Lin Xue couldn't help but let out a sigh.

"When will us fellow disciples get to have a good face to face meeting," mumbled Lin Xue as she let out a deep sigh.
