311 : Ming Yun

311 : Ming Yun

The moment Xu Si's aura spread through the continent, the faces of several hidden Venerables at the Divine Refinement Realm suddenly became pale.

Compared to them, although True Monarchs at the Nascent Soul Realm felt some pressure, their inability to fully sense it saved them from facing the full side effects of the aura.

In the end, not only did Xu Si's breakthrough attract the attention of nearly all cultivators in the continent, it also caused the eyes of several beings outside the continent to turn to him.

...

Outside the Spirit Source Continent.

Looking at the aura that was emerging from the small continent in front of him, a World Guardian couldn't help but shake his head.

"It's an old man this time as well, unlike the others he could go decently far into the Tribulation Realm thanks to his foundation, but his age will hold him back too much," mumbled the World Guardian before deciding against inviting this newly born Void Refinement Cultivator into the sect.

After all, as long as one was unable to reach the Ascended Immortal Realm, one could not become an Inner Disciple of the sect.

After a few more moments, and after making sure that this cultivator was not an Extraterrestrial Demon, the World Guardian turned his attention away from Xu Si and continued his search for both rare geniuses, and the Extraterrestrial Demon that had entered the world not too long ago.

In the end, although Xu Yue had thrown her son out completely defenseless, she still made sure that he would not be hunted down, and could live a relatively peaceful life is he so wished.

...

At the same time, within the Three Thousand Regions.

As she looked at the few remaining cultivators around her, each of which had injuries all around their bodies, Ming Yun couldn't help but grit her teeth as she touched her left shoulder, which was nearly gone.

Although this was the most visible injury, in truth, Ming Yun had hundreds of hidden internal injuries, which were much, much more severe than this.

Right now, Ming Yun's combat power was nowhere near what it was at her peak, but even so, not a single one of the remaining cultivators dared to try to fight her.

If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

In fact, nobody dared fight each other at the moment, as after the years of battle they had endured, everybody here had some sort of injury.

Because nobody was at their peak, not even the most powerful Dao Saints, which had been surrounded by large numbers of cultivators and whittled down, a weird peace had emerged within the group of five.

But even so, if things continued on the current trend this current peace would not last very long, and the final winner of this battle would be determined, and would be able to obtain everything.

The very next moment, though, this trend was suddenly broken, as a humongous eye suddenly appeared in front of the group of five.

For just a brief moment, Ming Yun thought the eyes was the eye of the Heavenly Dao, causing her heart to nearly jump out her chest.

Thankfully, though, this was not the case, as the eye was visibly weaker than the eye of the Heavenly Dao.

A moment later, a large blob of light suddenly appeared in front of the eye, before perfectly splitting into five smaller blobs of light, which then flew in front of the Dao Saints, who quickly took their piece for themselves.

After just a moment, though, every single Dao Saint suddenly lost control of their bodies, and were sent flying in five different directions.

...

Without any sort of warning, the eyes of Xu Yue, who was busy teaching her daughter, suddenly became cold, causing a spatial crack to suddenly appear in front of her, through which she quickly stepped through.

In a single moment, Xu Yue had appeared in front of a Ming Yun, who was currently unconscious, and had numerous both external and internal wounds.

After taking a closer look at Ming Yun though, and noticing the extent of the latter's injuries though, Xu Yue let out a faint sigh of relief, knowing that Ming Yun was not currently in any sort of mortal danger.

In fact, if Ming Yun was allowed to peacefully heal, she would be able to return to her normal self after a number of years.

Of course, out in the wilderness, where every cultivator only sought their own benefits, such a peaceful environment could never appear.

Thankfully though, Xu Yue, who was able to take Ming Yun out of this place, was here.

After just a brief moment, Ming Yun suddenly began floating behind Xu Yue, and quickly passed through a space crack the latter had just created.

...

As she opened her eyes, and looked at Xu Yue, who was standing over with a visibly inflated stomach, Ming Yun couldn't help but shake her head.

"Since when are my dreams so unrealistic?" mumbled Ming Yun with a frown on her face, causing her to suddenly try to awaken herself from this dream before freezing.

"Impossible..."

For a few moments, Ming Yun's mind short-circuited, as both her soul, and her extremely enhanced brain were unable to compute the scene in front of her, causing them to begin overheating.

As Xu Yue looked at Ming Yun, who had steam coming out of her ears, she couldn't help but let out a faint chuckle.

"I didn't know that you could be so easily surprised, did you go on vacation and lost your edge?" asked Xu Yue, causing Ming Yun to instantly return to normal.

In an instant, Ming Yun appeared behind Xu Yue, dressed in her normal maid clothes, and with no apparent injuries on her body.

"If you want to do something like this, at least recover for a few more minutes, don't make me waste a healing pill," mumbled Xu Yue, whispering into the ear of Ming Yun, who still had grave internal injuries.
