Scene 4A - Path of blood
Two wolves coated in black blood raced through the fiend elf army, their riders cutting down the elves in their paths by the dozen. An army of black coated soldiers followed behind them like a spear of darkness cutting through the light. Wherever they passed, only a trail of trampled corpses flowing with black blood would be left behind.
Naturally, the two figures upon the wolves were Jao and Jayce. Their eyes had long since turned bloodshot from their unparalleled focus, and their current demeanor overshadowed even the vicious looks of the fiend elves by far. They led a path of slaughter, bringing a group of combined forces to regroup with their prince in order to stage an even greater assault upon their enemies!
Although their eyes were bloodshot and the two were covered in filthy black blood, Jao and Jayce were talking casually as if this were merely a light walk in the park. As Jayce’s men cut an open path of blood and the mages cast various spells of death.
Jayce smiled lightly as he split an elf's head in half with his sword, “Ah…. Isn’t this great, Young Hero? Killing together with you like this is the greatest joy this brother has felt in a while. We should do this more often, haha!”
Jao frowned as he bisected three elves and then cut off their heads with a lighting fast swing of his spear, “I’m not like you, You battle fanatic! And stop calling me a young hero, it’s Jao you fool! If you keep it up I'll give you a thrashing when this war is over!”
Jayce blocked an arrow then pulled one of his short spears from his pouch and threw it into the archer's forehead, causing it to explode, “Young hero? When did I say that? You must be mistaken, Brother Jao! I would never!” Jao was dumbstruck by his friend's shameless attitude as he looked at Jayce's 'shocked' expression.
But even while distracted, Jao cleaved the heads of the incoming elves off with ease as Jayce sent out a blade of wind to his left, decimating the elven foes there.
Watching them from behind, their soldiers marched on fearlessly while thinking, ‘As long as our leaders Jao and Jayce guide us into battle, we cannot lose!’
At long last, Jao and Jayce led their men and broke out of the large sea of fiend elves only to see a circle of elves and men from their army fighting a bitter battle a mere three hundred meters away.
A streak of light flashed through Jao’s eyes, “It appears we’ve almost reached the prince, Brother Jayce. I can see the shockwaves from his battle even over here.”
Jayce gave a slight nod smiling wolfishly, “Good, good! My blade is still unsatisfied; it screams for slaughter! Increase our speed and mow down all in our path! The Prince is waiting for us, men!”
“OOOOHHHHHHHH!!!!!” The men and women under his command screamed in unison as they raised their swords, staffs, and shields, ready to keep fighting.
Scene 4B - Revealed!
Prince Dai held his sword steady even though he was heavily wounded with blood leaking from the various cuts on his body. His eyes radiated coldness as he swung his heavy sword at one of the three undying elves that pestered him. The two elves next to it blocked his attack and the three counterattacked together.
He had been knocked off his lizard a while ago and been tied down here fighting these elven experts ever since. Despite trying to slay them for the longest time, Prince Dai had only come off worse for wear as the three elves, though weaker than him separately, could bring out a strength that surpassed his when attacking together.

Prince Dai felt his rage building the longer the fight went on. Despite trying his hardest to finish the fight so he could lead his men to slaughter the enemy forces, he could only land shallow cuts upon the three elves tasked with hindering his path. To make things worse, the elves were constantly healing the injures given to them while his piled up over time.
When Prince Dai received yet another deep cut and felt the blood trickle down his leg, his anger reached the boiling point. His red-streaked black armor glinted in the sunlight as he pulled his heavy sword into position and waited for the enemy to attack.
The three elven experts moved in rhythm of utter fury as they surrounded Prince Dai. The largest of the three elves was a large and stocky being that would put even an orc to shame and wielded a large club as thick as a tree with ease as it smashed towards the injured prince. Sensing their companion's intentions, the two smaller elves moved to either side of the prince and the three attacked in unison.
Licking his lips, Prince Dai smiled coldly at the incoming onslaught. He had been waiting for this chance! Lining his feet with wind Qi and strengthening his body with Earth Qi, Prince Dai moved faster than a twin tailed cheetah as he dropped his heavy sword low to the ground and rushed forward with no regard for his own defense. Streaks of qi flicked within his eyes as he let out a powerful roar, “Cleave the sea and cut through the heavens! Clear my path, <
Qi of two colors twisted atop Prince Dai's heavy sword, covering the blade in a chaotic wave that moved with a rhythm of madness. The elven experts hadn't expected the prince to suddenly launch a suicidal attack and unwittingly showed an opening.
With a roar full of killing intent Prince Dai went headed straight towards the bulky elf, slashing upwards faster than the elf could react and chopping off one of its massive arms. Bathed in black blood tinted with green, the prince slid on the ground, slapping it with his hand and flipping around to point his sword at the furious elves with murder in their eyes. The prince let out a quiet curse, regretting that he'd missed his chance to get rid of one of the elven experts.
The wounds on his side and leg, unable to handle his movements, flared up with pain and bled even faster. The three elves moved towards him, filled with anger and attacking without restraint in his moment of weakness!
Despite losing an arm the large elf wasn’t fazed; working together with its brothers the elves pushed Prince Dai back. Despite still having the will to fight, the prince was slowly losing strength in his legs and becoming lightheaded as he faced the onslaught. The prince inwardly cursed the elven expert's cowardly tactics as he desperately searched for any weakness he could use to get out of the situation.
Thankfully the Earth Qi within his body had helped him shrug off most of the damage he had gained, but the energy within his body was fading quickly. If this kept up, Prince Dai was sure he would die. Even if he wanted to counterattack like before, the elven experts had completely changed their tactics, making him unable to use such a high-risk move!
Dai howled in rage, unwilling to accept this outcome, “I cannot die in such a dogshit manner! I still have to travel further upon my path of war! I refuse to die here!”
While caught in his feelings of regret and rage, Prince Dai almost didn't notice the cold blade rapidly approaching him, aiming for his eyes! Prince Dai moved out of the way at the last second, but his helmet was knocked off by the force of the blade, revealing the face of…. A young woman!
The girl had no time to care about her face being revealed as another blade came striking ruthlessly at her throat! But unlike last time, she had no way to escape from this strike!
‘Is this how I’m going to die? Without ever catching up to my brother?’
Cling!
A spear shot out of nowhere to knock away the blade that was about to take her life! The wielder of said spear quickly followed after it to unleash a punch straight into the elf's face, knocking it away!
"Who knew that the princess was the one leading us. Should've figured. Guess the rumors of Prince Dai leaving the kingdom are true. And Jayce, don't you dare start with one of those 'young hero' jokes!"
Standing above her like a demon covered in red and black blood, Jao gave the stunned princess a warm smile and offered her a hand up, “Need a hand, Princess Diana?”
