Scene 4 - Pillaging
Wiping away the tears the girls grabbed the eggs and gave them to Vince which surprised him, “Why?”
Uru spoke up, “For keepin until we geta out of here ya?”
Nodding his head Vince placed the eggs back inside his ring of holding; it was low level and poorly made, but could keep things such as eggs alive with ease. The trio waited a bit more their injuries finished healing and began moving once again.
Moving forward on the path they soon came across six ugly trolls, that were three meters tall, with busted skin that had sores and blisters all over their body.
The only article of clothing they had was a small loincloth that covered their nether regions, but that was not their most noticeable feature from three hundred meters away Vince and the girls could smell the rot and shit from them.
Vince stood by the side as the two jungle girls went forward to attack the trolls, this was their agreement that Vince came up with. They would rotate with two of them fighting at a time; while the third would watch over in case some other party decided to jump in. Or if the two couldn’t handle the opponent, the third could always do sneak attacks to save them at a critical time.
He didn’t need to do anything; he trusted their battle prowess, so he studied how they fought to better prepare when fighting together later. Uru liked to be the one attacking in and out of a fight; whilst Tal liked to draw the attention of the trolls. Taking the front lines, delivering swift brutal attacks with agile reflexes like a cat.
In awe, Vince stood there and watched on as the two wild’s battled on with the prowess of the peak of fourth rank. When the two combined their attacks together; their battle prowess reached the top of the fifth rank, speaking volumes on their coordination between the two.
Trolls were nasty people known in this world; thanks to their hyper healing and corrosive blood properties that could melt bronze weapons with ease, and slightly damage silver type weapons. Vince couldn’t tell what grade of weapons the girls were using, but they were at least past gold level by how perfect they were holding up.
The girls shortened and enlarged their spears at will; making up for the spears weakness of length in a short space. Tal stabbed her third troll in the eye socket and backed out from the last two remaining trolls who tried to attack her.
Seeing the opening, Uru closed in by jumping off the wall and beheading the right troll. A fountain of acid blood covered the hallway, as the limbs and heads littered the hallway. Of the six trolls, only one was left standing within two minutes of battle.
Vince praised the efficiency of the two as both of them; from the back and front stabbed the pitiful troll in the head. Landing one in the neck and the other in the jaw straight into the brain, twisting the head fell to the ground.
The two quickly flicked the blood off their spears in a smooth motion and collected twelve talismans. Apparently killing these trolls gave twice the amount of normal monsters and beasts.

They waited for the blood to lose its corrosive properties and then kept moving on forward. Next, up not even five minutes of walking, did they encounter a group of three contestants. Charging at Vince with swords in hand without a word; the three fools thought he and the jungle girls were easy prey.
Stepping forward, Vince held his hand out to stop the girls from charging then resized his axes to normal size. With a flick of his wrist, six axes flew out at fast speeds lopping off the bunch of fools hands that held swords with ease.
Blood sprayed out like a fountain; dropping to their knees, the three cried out in anguish as the two axes hovered around their necks imitating an executioner's bladeful aura. Trying to hold in their blood by using their remaining hands, the youths faces were pale and scared stupid.
Who was this monster? A mage? Why did they have such bad luck…? Vince walked slowly towards them in an easy manner frightening the youths more. When he was a meter away from them he gave them a smile; but with his scars on his face, it made him look like a demon asking for their souls and their first-born children.
One of them couldn’t handle it and fainted with foam coming out of his mouth as his eyes went into the back of his head. Another one couldn’t hold his bowels and defecated inside his pants. The last one actually did both in a shameful manner; that is how terrifying Vince’s smile is to those who see it.
Vince backed away holding his nose, a few feet away from the three and said, “I’m a nice guy, so I’ll only take all your points except one and all but three of your potions each which will be a tier one potion. Or, I take another one of your arms shit boy; I’ll give you ten seconds to decide.”
Without hesitation, the boy gritted his teeth and agreed. Throwing out his backpack and his friend's backpacks; he kept only three tier one potions, giving the rest to Vince. With his graceful demon smile, he opened the backpacks, taking out the potions inside and put it in his. The jungle girls nodded silently in approval of Vince’s methods the strong rule the weak.
Vince then turned back towards the shit boy and held out his hand, “Your talismans? Get them from your teammates!”
The shit boy nodded and collected their points all the way to one, and then threw a bright silver talisman towards Vince who caught it. He glanced at it with a demon smile; joy was reflected in his eyes the number written was sixty-two. Slapping it on his arm; Vince number increased from number 21 to 83 making it give off a tint of gold on its silver body.
With his demon smile intact, Vince walked away happy, past the shit boy with the jungle girls in tow. When they passed him a bit he had a sudden thought. He pulled two twenty talismans from his arm and tried to give it to the jungle girls. Even though he acted alone; Vince didn’t want bad blood to be sown between them, just because he acted selfishly.
Uru held out her hand to Vince pushing back the talismans and said to him, “I and my sister refuse ya on ya offer; ya earned the reward by yarself it’s all ya’s got it?
Naturally, he didn’t refuse and placed them back on his arm; the trio then made their way down the hallway causing, even more, trouble and chaos. Their battles were filled with easy wins; while other fights came to life or death struggles truly this Labyrinth was a place to hone them.
And this was just the first day.
