Scene 3 - Sky blade
When the three were picking out some mementos at a corner shop for their siblings, Ren started acting strangely his eyes glazed over he stopped dead in his tracks. The world around him became silent, all the constant banging of metal turned to nothingness, the high pitch steam that came in waves turned to but a whisper.
The world seemed to slow down for Ren where he stood a strange melody began to play. Turning his attention towards the sound the song seemed to pick up the pitch as if it was happy to be noticed.
One step over another Ren started walking and seeing Ren’s strange behavior Vince and Xue put back the trinkets they were looking at and followed after their brother. They tried to snap him out of it but it was no use; the couldn’t break Ren away from the enchanted sound that affected him on a profound level to his subconsciouses.
Slowly, Ren walked forward towards the song that entranced him, no… that called to him. Xue and Vince begrudgingly followed Run wary of what had gotten into him. They passed a few blocks before coming up onto a seemingly ordinary shop.
A seemingly old run down building that was overshadowed by the other more colorful buildings. Most likely, the siblings wouldn’t have noticed it if Ren wasn’t walking towards the building. On closer inspection, the two could see its features of this one-story building.
The buildings brown paint was chipping on the walls it was faded and lacking in brightness. In front of the building, it only had two cracked pillars for aesthetics. Though with the paint and cracks on the pillar’s it made it less catching for the eye. It seemed crude and rough as the door creaked something fierce when Ren pushed the door open.
Surprisingly the inside of the place was a clean shop. Various swords hung upon the walls some were normal, some of them had strange designs and others had various sized holes in them…

Ren slowly walked toward a large straight sword that in comparison was dwarfed by Nena’s great sword. It had various curves that were simplistic in its design. Running down the fuller and edge was the design of a gold majestic wing. The rest of the blade was entirely colored green; everything seemed normal for a blade besides… The various holes covered the blade in a strange and complex manner. Ren reached out his hand to touch the blade when a shout was heard from the back.
“Who be ye entering my shop? Eh? Didn't yar parents ever teach ye never to touch something that didn't belong to ye?”
A door leading to the back opened up a fat and a short muscled man walked out with a gourd of wine in hand. He reeked of wine, coal, and metal it was a strange scent that made Vince and Xue who were wary of this place oddly calm.
With a weave of the fat man's hand; the sword that Ren was reaching for flew to him into a green sheath. When sheathed the blades song Ren heard was cut and he awoke from his stupor, shaking his head he tried to get his bearings.
The fat man waited for Ren to find his words, after all, he was quite interested why Ren reached out for that sword of all the others.
Ren traced his blurry thoughts, slowly he stared at the sword the fat man was holding and started to pant heavily, “Mister I wish to buy that sword please!” He then bowed his head deeply at the fat man who was thinking thoughtfully his peach eyes staring at Ren.
Taking a swig of wine from his gourd the fat man asked Ren a question, “It appears ye already have a sword judging by thy small trinket hanging from yar pants. Why would ye crave this sword boyo? Upon yar answer, I shall not even consider selling ye this sword.”
(Author note: A small vulgar joke)
Rens' eyes lit up as he began to recall what he heard, “I heard the sword call for me… Its song was what had drawn me in. It was filled with longing for the sky… To be free and unrestrained as master and blade danced upon the clouds… The blade name is Othin the sky blade!”
