Scene 3 - Awakened, Goliath's needle
“Ok, that's enough of a break.”
“Aw Big Sis, it’s only been twenty minutes, can’t we rest more?”
Shaking her head Len moved out of the safe room, as luck would have it they happened upon the room after fighting those monster birds. But they couldn’t rest long for she hadn’t even broken a sweat the more points the better.
Sighing Mathis followed after begrudgingly fearing the Len would leave him behind if he didn’t come.

Time passed by and Len and Mathis fought monsters along the way. Generally speaking, Len would effortlessly kill most of the monsters, and leave the weakest for Mathis to fight. Soon enough they had cleared over forty different monsters and were about to rest again.
Taking the lead with his building confidence Mathis spoke up, “Hey I think I see a safe room up ahead let's go rest!”
Len seeing him run up ahead smiled and raised her hand, “Hey wait up! Don’t go too far what if the dungeon changes!”
Standing in a large room now Mathis stopped feeling embarrassed and turned around with a bright red face waiting for Len to come over. Seeing him stop Len slowly made her way over, ‘Jeez he’s acting like Sol and Luna running around without caring what’s ahead of them.’
“Come on Big Sis!”
“I’m… Com-- RUN!”, Picking up speed Len rushed forward reaching her hand out for Mathis, yet she was too far away.
Tilting his head sightly a shadow crept over him making his heart clench in fear, sweat as the sound quiet around him he reached out with his hand, “Big Sister he--”
*Crunched*
Shockwaves full of blood and bone splattered in all directions under the giant foot, splashing across Len’s face. Shocked Len eyes shook as she watched Mathis’s legs get crushed under a foot, without hesitation, Len grabbed Mathis’s arms and carried his body into the hallway they came from.
Luckily the giant foot didn’t move to actually crush the pair while they were retreating and they were able to reach safety. Pulling out her tier three potion from her backpack Len Shoved it into Mathis mouth where blood began to pour from it seemed even his internal organs were affected.

“Hang in their boy I’ll fix you right up!”, With such urgency, Len’s speech impediment seemed to disappear.
Trying to cough his lungs out Mathis tried to stop her from giving her the potion only to fail from his feeble strength. Despite it being a tier three potion it seemed the damage taken to his body was too much. Searching through her bag Len pulled two tier two potions and poured them on his remaining parts of his legs and then wrapped his stubbed legs with her back up clothes.
Pain erupted from his body as an agonizing scream came from within him as the potions tried to take effect. Yet it seemed to all be in vain he was still bleeding unless a real medical doctor saw him now his life would likely be forfeit.
Shaking his sleaves Len screamed, “Leave the contest! They can still save your life!”
Despite the massive pain, his body felt Mathis thoughts were filled with insanity over the loss of his legs, “I can’t *cough* who will avenge my parents I must become a cultivator!”
Tears in her eyes Len forcefully took off his talismans, “I’m sorry but you can’t die, your sister needs you!”
Seeing her take away his talismans a crazed light shone from as a golden halo appeared around, “Give them back! I can’t stop now! Please Big Sis don--”
With hollow eyes, Mathis faded away with one last line, “Avenge me, avenge my parents--”
“I will little brother!”
The only thing that remained behind was his backpack, quickly Len’s pained expression turned savage, angry, full of resentment, hollow, furry, vengeance. Covered in the blood of her new little brother Len’s brown hair began to turn and distort changing colors. Platinum white and Jet black cut straight through the middle of her scalp with the ends or her hair giving a gray trim.
Even her eyes changed from deep dark brown to a murky light gray, her aura even changed to become even more noticeable as if she didn’t even exist. Feeling the immense power of mana flow through her veins Len yelled not of out happiness of awakening but of utter sadness of her powerlessness to not able to do anything.
Anger bubbled up within her as her hands moved slowly picking up Mathis’s backpack and putting his stuff into her’s. Slowly her shaking hands calmed down to the point of being still as wood while moving.
Her expression returned to her expressionless self by the time she finished repacking. Then she prepared herself, lining up her needles for quick access, swinging Goliath's needle around she began to breathe in slowly and then out stabilizing her emotions into a trance.
Aligning her body and spirit for the upcoming battle, unintentionally she tapped into her inner mana pulling the darkness and blue light around her in this dance with her scythe attuning herself to these new changes.
When finished she stopped moving Goliath and began to move forward, with each step anger came creeping back up within her spirit. Soon she entered the room where the one who killed her little brothers dreams for vengeance.
There sat a giant gray one-eyed figure scratching its foot where a blood stain had appeared. It soon smiled as it had found something a mangled leg was held between its two fingers and it lifted the morsel up opening its ugly jaw.
Grinning from ear to ear the cyclops dropped the mangled leg into its mouth where more crunching could be heard.
Eyes turning red instantly bloodshot, runic tattoos appeared over Len’s body roaring with fury blood began to seep from her lips after bitting her cheek from the beasts acts.
“I WILL KILL YOU!”
Len had become enraged.
