Scene 4 - Craving Strength
Two days quickly past and each day Dela came to take care of Sol together with Saren and Luna. The siblings were worried about how to feed Saren in this time. Luckily Dela showed the siblings a cheap fruit that would dissolve on contact with the skin. With it, they could feed Sol allowing his body to get nutrients to enter the body by placing it near the stomach.
In the afternoon on the third day, Sol awoke while Dela was wiping his stomach. Even if the fruit was useful it still left a mess of seeds, juice, and leftover skin that wouldn’t dissolve. Startled Dela's face was dyed red as she hastily moved her hand away.
The room was silent since Saren and Luna went to go eat lunch they had Dela watch over him alone.
Sol broke the silence, “How long was I knocked out?” His voice was hoarse when he noticed this he saw a cup of water. His eyes gleamed reaching out for the water. Alas, his body contorted wrecked with pain, his vision doubled it felt like every bone in his body was broken.
Seeing Sol try to move Dela held him down by his shoulders softly, “Sit down! You got hurt pretty bad in the fight!... Here let me help you...”
Dela reached out and grabbed the cup of water lifting Sol’s head with her other hand. Slowly she poured the water in Sol’s mouth allowing him time to drink.
Using his eyes he motioned for her to stop when he finished half the cup, Dela moved the cup away holding back her tears she uttered, “Sol I’m so sorry I shouldn’t have brought you to that place… I...”

With great effort fighting back against the pain, Sol moved his left hand which stopped Dela from talking utter contempt for himself filled his eyes, “It was my fault Dela I thought that that little meager amount of power made me powerful.”
Sol grew silent for a moment catching his thoughts then gazed at Dela his eyes clear, “Don’t beat yourself over what happened it isn’t your fault, no I should be thanking you for showing me how weak I still am in this world. not yours.”
“Sol...”, Dela fiddled with her hands not sure what to do and felt defeated by his gaze.
Opening and closing his hands his eyes began to slowly blaze with passion, “I now know that I have a long way to go to become strong. And therefore I will never become conceited again! Ack!”
Yelling out loud as he promised himself not to become conceited pain wracked his body, “ow-ow-ow-ow it hurts…”
Sol hurt himself from moving his body causing it to shudder in pain, startled Dela held him back down, “You can’t move dummy!”
Yet despite the pain wracking his body, his soul felt like a blazing sunlit mad for the desire to gain strength.
Seeing his expression Dela gave a bright smile at Sol, ‘Instead of feeling down on his loss, he keeps shining with determination. Not many people could come out stronger for being defeated, as expected of the man I fell for.’
Dela suddenly thought about the pill the black robed person had given them and told Sol to take it saying it would help him heal faster.
Without hesitation, Sol nodded opening his mouth as Dela gave him the pill and then some water to swallow it. The pill when ingested slowly spread inside Sol’s stomach. Its soothing effect spread across his body in a warm glow, which in turn the pain in his body started to slowly fade away to a dull ache.
Sol smiled, it was a boyish smile with charm to it, “You know Dela? I think you’ll make a fine wife someday! Haha...”
Dela's face became instantly became red again, quickly she ran down the stairs without turning back. She was still just an eleven-year-old girl, how could she face him after he said those words?
