Chapter 15 - Scene 3 - Eclipse

Eyes sparkling full of awe Sol stood up in his seat cheering, “Dela is so cool! I want to go fight like her!”

In the heat of the moment Sol moved without thinking, unfortunately, his older brother and sister didn’t notice that he had already gone to the signup desk. Boiling in excitement the blood rushed to his head blood he wasn’t thinking!

Moving towards the desk that Saren had pointed out before; he hastily asked the woman standing there, “Hey auntie! I want to fight as well! How do I join?”

The graceful lady at the desk mouth twitched in an odd way, did I say something wrong? Who cares! I want to fight!

“Little boy… do you have the money for the entry fee money of thirty silver?”

He was shocked at the amount thinking about how many yummy dishes he could buy with that money! In the mist of his thoughts, the Auntie chuckled at him…

Shocked at how he was treating her he thought, ‘How dare she laugh at me I’m strong now!’

Gritting his teeth Sol forcefully take out thirty silver coins as tears almost come out of his eyes. But thinking about his big brother Vince he held them back since he remembered him say, ‘Men don’t cry!’

The auntie held back her laughter despite Sol’s best attempts to act manly as she gave him a small copper badge.

Feeling wronged at how he was being treated this way he became angry after all was a cultivator!

‘She laughed! At me! Again! I feel so humiliated!’,

With tears brimming in his eye he forced out a cry, “Auntie is mean! I gave you the money! Now  when can I fight!?”

Auntie pointed words a doorway laughing away at this childish boy, “Enter that doorway where we’ll measure your battle power. I wish you the best of luck umm what was your name again little boy?”

The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

Sol ran away from at that point into the from yell as I run into the room, “It's Sol CloudStar! Remember the name for I shall become the greatest warrior the world has seen!”

The Auntie smiled and nodded as she stared at the back of the little boy, “Good! Show me a good fight then! I’m rooting for you Little Sun… Ha-ha!”

...

Entering through the door the little boy clearing his eyes from tears saw a large man standing before him asking the boy to place his hand on the pedestal. Not thinking about it much Sol placed his hand upon the stone; instantly nine lights shone which shocked the large man thoroughly.

He said in a rough voice, “Hey we got a rank challenger here! Tell that youth Eclipse we got an opponent here.”

‘Rank challenger? Are they strong?’, thinking such thoughts as he was led along a passageway Sol’s blood began to boil each step he took his body was full of energy ready to fight!

With his mindset and heart attuned for battle, he waited until his name was called. In which he walked out into the opening seeing his opponent for the first time. Giving him a strange look Sol studied the youth in front of him. Covered in bandages from head to toe he looked more like a mummy than a cultivator. Along with his wild unkempt blond hair, wearing an old dirty and holey black robe stained with blood that smelled. With a single whiff, Sol could know the exact smell that came from him the weird all too well.

Blood.

But Sol wouldn’t turn tail and run from a weird cosplayer just by a mere smell. With a respectful tilt of his head, Sol got into a battle stance ready to fight, “Let’s have a good match!”

When he raised his head he could finally notice the mummy’s boy dark orange eyes held a wrathful expression speaking with a voice trailed full of fury, “You think this is a match little punk? This is a battle so children shouldn't be here get out of the ring! There is no room here for a hairless child.”

In anger Sol yelled inwardly, ‘I’m young man, not a boy!’

“Let’s fight bandage Boy!”

Instantly the bandage boy's eyes grew a new level of  cold he stared daggers at Sol, then he turned laser gaze at the announcer, “Enough waiting around start the match, so I can beat this runt into the ground!”

The announcer unmoved by the bandage boy’s cold words announced without fear to the crowd, “Ladies and gentleman in one corner we have the 7th place fighter currently in our ranks Eclipse! In the other corner, we have a challenger from the unknown lands who surpassed the ranker test! Place your bets this is sure to be an exciting match!”

Fighters prepare yourselves! Fight in three! Two! One!”

As soon as the dong sounded Sol moved forward towards the bandaged boy full of fighting intent he would show this cosplayer the meaning of pain!, ‘He might be a little taller but still, I can win!’  At the time Sol had all the self-confidence in the world to beat that smirk off bandage boys face. That is until he was blown away into the wall of the pit like EmberShine before him although the only difference was it was a fist straight into the face instead of a kick.
