It's been about 2 weeks ever since Mia began her studies in the academy. It seems that she was enjoying it very much going by what Huang could see. Everyday, once she gets back home, she begins talking about all the things she learned on the day, what she did, who she met, what probably dangerous experiment she did with her Master. It was quite the thing to spectate.
Huang's wives were quite happy too. The family prestige is up and rising and they are making sure to foster relationships with the people around them to maintain it. This social battlefield was something that Huang could never take part of and his women were more than willing to fight in it.
As for his aunt, she seems to have found some friends too. The city is a good place for old people. They don't need to be worried about monsters all that much, just the occasional stray rat for the most part. Huang couldn't help but ponder if he should call his mother to the city. She was more than happy to live with one of his uncles in a small town but as her son, he couldn't help but want to give her a safer place to live.
After saying goodbye to Mia and receiving a goodbye kiss from his two wives, Huang left the house along with his two sons to their job.
The fire that burned inside of Huang lit a small spark inside his sons and they are slowly getting a drive to get strong like him.
“Huang presenting himself for the job!”
“Kai presenting himself for the job!”
“Choi presenting himself for the job!”
“At ease! Ryo, Makami, Blitz. Dismissed!” The guard commander said to the guard accompanying him once Huang and his sons presented themselves. Soon after the commander led the group to the training area the guards in the area used.
“Sir, did we have training exercises today and I forgot? There are a lot of people here.” Huang asked, surprised by the amount of people in the training grounds. There were around 100, more or less the limit of the place.
“It's your audience Huang! Another one came.” The commander explained.
“It's the 10th already.” Kai cut in.

“If you don't like it, make your daughter stop bullying the sons and daughters of members of the army.” the commander said.
“Ha! As if Mia can bully anyone. She is either nice to you or she is trying to kill you, there is no in between.” Choi said.
“If what I heard about her is her being nice, I don't want to know what she does when she isn't.” The commander said.
“What is it this time? I am honestly just ignoring all the complaints coming my way sir.” Huang explained.
“Your daughter beat the nephew of a military diplomat, again, in more humiliating fashion than before.”
“Again?”
“She did something similar on her second day at the academy it seems.” Huang could just nod at the information.
“There you are! I will not let you trample on my family pride! Get ready!” An elf man shouted at Huang, with too much indignation in his voice.
“Is this about your nephew?” Huang asked the man.
“Of course it is!”
“What's his name?”
“Moon.”
“Moon? Are you sure?” Huang asked, really confused.
“Yes! Why!?”
“I thought that my daughter and him were friends. She usually talks really good things about him.” Mia seems to really like her classmates. He never heard anything negative of them from her.
“What she says to you is of no matter! She is poisoning the boy's mind and it is all your fault!”
“How what they talk about is my fault?”
“He is starting to ignore our family military doctrine and customs. He comes home spilling trash like how he should start fighting like the father of a certain girl because our customs are not something that would survive in a 'real' fight!” The man says angrily.
“Ooh, this again. Look sir?”
“Celestial.”
“Ok, Sir Celestial. My daughter is rather blunt about stuff but she is not one to tell lies. As a matter of fact, I believe that there are 6 people that came before you with similar complaints. If you are anything like them, I suggest you drop all of this and let us continue with our lives.”
“Are you saying you are better than me?”
“I am saying that I beat 9 people before you, 6 of which had similar grievances that I am starting to believe is the actual truth.” Everyone Huang has beaten so far was weaker than him by a good margin. If their philosophies on how one should fight were different, it never became a factor in the fight.
“Draw your blade and we will see what is the truth!”
“...If that is how it is, so be it.” Huang said in resignation as he moved to the open space that will be used for the duel.
