In the morning after the party. Mia is peacefully asleep in her bed, Onyx curled up beside her. The scene would melt anyone's heart, portraying a picture of innocence and tranquility. However, anyone who knew what transpired the night before would likely find it hard to reconcile this image with the chaos that had ensued.
In Huang's office, a serious discussion was unfolding. Present were Huang, Jin, Koji, a figure akin to a high ranking guard captain of the city, and Mirai, the vice-principal of the Blue Flame Military Academy.
“May I ask what is going on? The principal of the academy told me to urgently come here due to a future student doing something outrageous.” Mirai asks as she sits down.
“I wish things were that simple. Outrageous doesn't even begin to describe what that little girl pulled off.” Koji said. Mirai could only look at him inquisitively, waiting for more information.
Huang, with a somewhat exasperated sigh, began to recount the events of the previous night.
He started by explaining that they had thrown a party, and Mia had accidentally consumed a small amount of alcohol. In less than a minute, she had become thoroughly intoxicated, and that's when things took an unexpected turn.
Mia, who had initially been barely awake, suddenly burst with energy. She stood up and began to pour her heart out to everyone still present at the party, expressing her deep love for her family, with a special focus on Huang, Marry, and Lin. She declared Lin as much her mother as Marry, aspiring to be one-tenth the woman Marry was and half the warrior that Huang was. She conveyed how much her family meant to her, and even Onyx, in his own way, joined in on the sentiment.
“If this was all, it would have been one of the happiest moments of my life.” Huang said with a face that showed that whatever happened next was not something he could really like to think about.
After Mia had concluded her heartfelt speech, she climbed atop Onyx, declared that her world needed her, and rode off into the night. It took the others a few moments to process the shocking turn of events, but once they snapped out of their stupor, a frantic search for Mia commenced.
“From this point forward what we have is mostly witnesses reports of what happened along with some testimonies from a pair of criminals since she went all over the city.”
As the reports unveiled, the first thing Mia did was thwart a robbery. Some lowlifes had attempted to rob a parent who lived a bit farther from the party venue and was still accompanied by their children. Both robbers ended up losing their hands in a way nobody could quite explain, and then they were beaten into unconsciousness by the ten-year-old girl.
The next event was what Koji referred to as 'playing tag' with the city guards. Mia suddenly appeared near a group of guards, announced that they were going to play tag, and then playfully slapped one of the guards on his rear end before sprinting away, giggling. Initially, the guards had thought it was some sort of joke and didn't react, but when Mia actually began playing tag, the situation escalated.

Using her incredible speed and Onyx's assistance, Mia 'recruited' as many guards as she could find and started a game of tag that spanned the entire city. At this point, Jin managed to send word about the situation, and the guards switched from a playful attitude to a more serious one. But then came the significant incident.
The guards couldn't lay a hand on Mia. Like a mischievous child, she taunted them, allowing them to come close to catching her before slipping away with laughter. This continued for hours, during which she almost accidentally made her way to the castle. There, she decided to include the royal guards in her game of tag and raced around the palace.
“How!? There should be layers upon layers of magic barriers around the castle. You can't just enter the palace!” Mirai said exasperated. The response from the group was a collective shrug, as no one could explain how Mia had accomplished this feat.
Jin continued the narrative, revealing that Mia had continued her game for nearly an hour within the palace. Her antics had caught the attention of the King and all those connected to him. Someone, whose identity could not be disclosed, had managed to catch Mia on the very top of the castle and reported that Mia had promised him a prize—a friend—before vanishing into thin air.
Later investigations had unveiled that someone had broken into the Academy's coliseum and stolen a saber tooth tiger, which was now domesticated and treated like a house cat by the third prince and princess.
Mirai couldn't hide her shock and mentioned that she had heard about the stolen tiger from the director. Huang concluded the report by explaining that, shortly before dawn, Onyx had appeared with Mia on his back, and she was fast asleep. He took her home, word had spread, and that had led to this meeting.
“Mister Huang, your daughter is a little devil.” Mirai said to Huang. He couldn't help but laugh a little. He knew that Mirai didn't know anything about what happened in his old town so calling his daughter a little devil was somewhat comedic. Not that Mirai found him laughing particularly amusing. After fully processing the situation, she inquired about what actions were being taken.
The short answer was nothing substantial. The King seemed to be more amused than anything else, and while the guards felt somewhat insulted, harder training was being considered as a potential response. The royal guards and mages were still trying to decipher how a random little girl and her monstrous wolf had infiltrated the palace. Regarding the stolen tiger, its loss wasn't significant, as the King was willing to pay for its replacement or dispatch someone to capture another. Since no one had been seriously harmed, there wasn't much that could be done, especially when the King himself seemed inclined to downplay the incident.
Mirai left feeling somewhat bewildered. The principal had sent her here to prepare for Mia's entry into the academy, but how were they supposed to handle her? Mirai could understand such genius among older students, but Mia was only ten years old. If placed in a regular classroom, she would likely surpass the teacher's abilities. In essence, Mirai had no clear strategy for dealing with this unique situation.
Resigned, she made copies of all the reports and annotations before departing. The others continued to discuss the matter before parting ways as well. The world didn't revolve around Mia, and they all had their duties to attend to.
Later that day, Mia woke up feeling refreshed, with no recollection of her drunken adventure from the night before. It would be years before she would learn the full extent of her midnight escapades.
