2.15. Another walk south.

The track south was similar to the track towards the Glacial Gazer, though the ground was completely without snow, which surprisingly enough made the journey take longer than the days before.

As Goron was not suited for anything above arctic climates, his movements were slow and his bodily reactions similar to those most humans would have in a desert.

Traveling on that road to the south, they soon met another staple of every good story, bandits wuelding crossbows and daggers.

Of course, Norman was surprised by it, but Goron had been anticipating a Bandit encounter since the moment they left Northbridge.

As the people emerged, Goron felt years of gaming experience and about two days of frustrating marches take over. Before they managed to extort or wuestion him and norman, his fist was burrowed in one of their faces. The crack of a human skull a sound he would never forget, as it was one of those that haunted his dreams ever since the Northbridge massacre, the longing to unleash violence one he could no longer repress.

"I don't care what you want. You are not going to make this take longer than absolutely necessary. Did I make myself clear?!"

He screamed, lifting another up and utilizing his head as if it was a microphone, before he bit it clean off and threw the corpse at another guy.

"I'm not like my parents or those thrice cursed elves. But when you idiots dare to stand in my way, I'll make sure your intestines colour the road for long enough that an and colony will consider you it's main source of food!"

He screamed, spitting the skull he bit off into the nearby dirt. The remaining Bandits used that chance to fllee, and Goron opened his screen to see whether he would gain any levels soon. He still needed quite a while to reach level 20, and thus tier three.

His rage was stopping when nothing remained to smash, and Frostbite cuddling against his leg to calm him down.

"Damn... that was a while coming. I'll raise strength by one, ripping things to shreds worked so far. "

He commented, immediately paying four token for a single point increase to his strength.

"I don't even feel it anymore. They will probably keep making less and less of an impact, won't they? Taking that rush of power from me? I can't... I want the power, I need the energy. This body is becoming too weak, I need something new."

Norman could not help but worry. His friend was absolutely going mad, first he slaughters those people, then he began cursing because tapping a screen didn't bring the rush of endorphins that he thought it would. The behaviour of an addict deprived of his fix or a madman that wasn't given something to focuss his rage on.

"Hey man, we can get this done, we are going to settle in Furchenstein and build the adventurer guid once we are there. By the way, what did you mean by an adventurer guid?"

He asked, Goron smiling as if remembering something fondly.

"A place for locals to complain about things and offer jobs to those who can solve their problems. The Problems are categorized by clerks, and there is a fee to listing jobs in the guild, making sure that noone posts anything to fool people. If the guild grows enough, we can even get connections to other establishments to make the guild even more attractive, and they can have standing orders as a reward. Something like Alchemists always needing specific herbs, smiths in need of ores or other people in need of weapons. Then we spread all over the world, make the guild a Multinational mega corporation and ensure that Nas'ri develops into a magitec world. Doesn't that sound great? All that power at the tip of your hands, and we heroes would manage different parts. Maybe we can even have an underground sector, dealing with black markets and stuff. And when everything is done, we need a shady corner for rogues to stand in!"

Norman smiled at that, the renewed life in his friends voice much better than the mindless rage he spread earlier.

"And you think there are enough jobs to keep that business running?"

He asked, Goron nodding.

"Enemies close by, standing orders... those add up, even if we have to pay a few clerks in every place, I am sure we can make a profit with it. All we need to do is call ourselves adventurers and do tasks for others. In return, we slowly gather the money necessary to raise the guild, allowing others to gather even more money and making sure it is spend for the guild again. We'll be basically gathering any money we can and just pouring it into the pockets of clerks, so that they can spread it to any city we establish a branch in, which will certainly attract even more attention, and boom, we will be rich and spreading like a virus."

Normans smile was slowly dropping, as his friends speech became somewhat manic in nature.

Unlocked Skills

Respawn (Skill) (Unique): When you die, your soul is pulled back to the character creation screen with half your levels. Once here, you can build a new character and try again.

Once you press the create button on the character creator, you will be spawned at a place appropriate for your character.

Grounding (skill)(ground): While cast, this skill infuses the targets body with geound mana and forces it to remain on a surface below it.

Dash (skill)(air): Your movement speed increases by (move*skill level).

Tag stomp (skill)(Gravity): Target a creature and accelerate towards it at (lvl) times your normal speed. Cannot be used for the amount of time needed to accelerate before impact.

Restfull petrification. (ground): Your body is petrified for the duration you sleep. While you are petrified in this way, you are considered hidden.

You will restore (lvl) times the energy you would by sleeping the same amount of time.

Jet legs [1] (air) (skill): Air mana will concentrate in your entire body and focus on your legs. Once you activate this skill, you can gather ambient air mana for up to (lvl) seconds and release it at a later time explosively. One second worth of air mana can move you (lvl) meters in any direction and push everything else away.

Groundbound [1] (ground) (skill): an area of (lvl) meters around you is flooded by ground Mana, making everything within heavier.

Blizzard aura (ice) (skill): Raise your surrounding ice and turn it into a shield of projectiles. Born from memories of a fallen goblin, this skill has been optimized to spare the user any colloteral.

Second skin (Steel) (Skill): Coats the user in a secondary skin of Mana, reducing the damage received by [lvl].

Elemental aura [0] (mod) (skill): every living being in an area of (lvl) meters around you is flooded by Mana of your choosing, affecting the target as if it stood in an environment typical for that element.

Unlocked perks

Fairy wings (Perk) Reduces weight by 1 kg and gives the user a magical flying speed of 10km/h.

Magical body (perk): Your body is held together by magic. Your body can not be dispersed by non magical means, and everything you do counts as magical. Dispersing magic will deactivate this perk for the duration. Your natural lifespan will now be extended by 10% for every point you have in Willpower.

Magus ¤ : This Perk allows a person to interact directly with mana

Thick bones (Perk): Your bones are two times denser than is normal for your race, making it harder for your body to be moved in any direction.

Thick skin (perk): Your skin is thicker than that of most members of your species.

Blubber (Perk): You hold a layer of fad under your skin. Increases your weight by 5kg for every meter of height you have, but allows you to thrive in much colder climates.

Muscles of steel (Perk): Your muscles are naturally harder and more effective at movement. Your muscles are much more resilient than they would normally be.

Unlocked Handycaps

Slim: Reduce the amount a creature weighs by 5% per level of this handycap chosen, which can be stacked up to three times.

Small: Reduces the height of a creatur by 20%.

+5 Token

Heavenbound (handycap): Should you ever disconnect from the ground, gravitation will reverse for you. Any kinetic force excerted on you will be 100% more effective at moving you.

+8 Token

One armed (handycap): You only have one useable arm.

+30 Token

Bulky tendencies (Handycap): Your weight can not be reduced by more than 10% increases to your weight that hold for more than a day are permanent.

+15 Token.

Large (Handycap): Increases the height of a creatur by 20%.

+5 Token

Overweight (handycap): You weigh 10% more than your race normally does. (Can be equipped up to three times)
