Preview: As they traveled rapidly through the endless crimson and volcanic sceneries, darkness greeted them as they finally reached the border. The edge of the Second Level of Hell.
Darkness swirled and surged as some snake-like silhouettes seemed to integrate with it. Sunirae vaguely remembered the scene of vines hanging from the darkness above as the strange thought stuck her. It didn’t last long as her attention went back to the scene in front.
Her excitement didn't diminish as she carefully observed the darkness stirring in the distance. The three of them felt thrilled. The thrill of exploring the unknown. They couldn’t wait to descend as they stared at the darkness that was swirling in a spiral, different from the calm and heavy darkness on the walls of the border.
Even though they wanted to jump right into it at this moment, they still waited for Zenolith and the rest to uphold their promises. And they also knew that the more there were, the better their situation in the upcoming descent would be.
Although some of them would become a burden, it'd be no problem to use them as fodder to not waste any resources. Yhaele thought evilly as he thought of the war in his world. I was also one of those fodders. He smirked at the thought of it. It was truly ridiculous. No matter how hard he tried to live until the end, he never would have expected to be reborn as an ugly demon.
His mandibles clack in anticipation as Pendra stares at him with disgust. This ugly thing. He still couldn’t bring himself to like Yhaele due to his ugly mandibles and joining them midway. He was filled with dissatisfaction at the thought that he would have to share whatever loot he got from his master with this guy. And what’s worse is that it has been happening for a long time, giving him a heartache.
“We’re about to finally.. Descend.” Sunirae was unprecedently excited at this moment. The thought that she would finally advance again. The thought that she would be able to possess the ability to control the powers inside her and make them hers.
She felt emotional as she remembered the weakness and the borrowed strength during that time with Pizon. Even though it had already been a few months, she still couldn’t forget it. She couldn’t forget the feeling of power coursing through her. She felt an endless thrill at the thought of possessing it so soon.
“Yes.. We are.” Yhaele echoed his sentiments, his tone laced with mixed emotions. Who would’ve thought that I would grow so fast in such a short amount of time and descend?

He knew better than anyone else how hard it was to descend. The memories passed down to the Reincarnators are oddly specific and clear and thus he could be considered to be knowledgeable to some information common demons don’t know.
Pendra didn’t understand their feelings that much. His mentality was still stuck during the time he was a weak and small Poison Centipede. Now, maybe it's more appropriate to call him a chainsaw centipede. His increase in strength greatly satisfied him so he wasn’t feeling as emotional as the two guys.
Hmph, it's only natural that we’d descend so quickly. Who do you think Master is? He felt a strange sense of pride as he gazed at his master. He was really glad that he met her and was enslaved. Although he no longer has freedom, he wasn’t treated horribly. In fact, his strength had been rising in leaps and bounds, incomparable to him hunting alone.
So, his emotions weren’t as strong. He only felt like it went as it should have. He unknowingly started trusting Sunirae, despite his initial frustration with her trouble-provoking self. And in his mind, the figure and impression of Sunirae slowly became bigger until it became towering.
Can I keep up with Master and serve her well..? He thought silently as another worry grew in his mind like a tumor.
Soon, figures arrived with a whoosh. The first to arrive was the team with Siera leading. Due to her team mainly being filled with Tikbalangs, they had the greatest and fastest mobility. They quickly traversed from the other side of the level as they rushed. They didn’t wish to make their masters wait longer and irritate them.
“Lords, we have arrived.” Siera obediently reported her arrival. The darkness in the distance ebbed a bit, as though responding to her report and excited about the upcoming spatial transfer.
Sunirae was glad as someone among her subordinates finally arrived. Waiting for the others was a tortuous process so she felt joy at the first arrival.
“Are you prepared for the upcoming descent? Have you finished consuming enough demons to withstand the spatial turbulence?”
Sunirae asked swiftly as she remembered what had happened when they first arrived at the Second Level of Hell. Even though she and Pendra were already very powerful at that time, they still sustained some damage like losing a few leaves and legs. Thus, she did not want any accidents this time, especially with the chiefs. That would waste a lot of their resources for nothing and they’ll just become a burden for the journey to come.
Siera was surprised and felt a strange warm feeling flowing through her. She didn’t expect her lofty Lord and master would care a lot about their well-being as servants.
“Yes, master. I have managed to hunt a large amount of demons this time with the help of my team. We also shared them accordingly and developed together.”
Her answer was expected of a reliable leader. She didn’t let her teammates down and developed accordingly. This made the trio rest easy as they awaited the arrival of the others.
Their long wait didn’t go to waste as the chiefs arrived one after another. Due to them having strong members in their midst, they encountered less obstacles and advanced smoothly. The Ketus led by Herundira arrived shortly after Siera, followed by Zenolith and his team.
Then the other weaker teams rushed over with exhausted expressions. They had to face the obstructions of demons who thought they were easy prey and had thus waited a lot more time.
But despite their weak and exhausted bodies, their minds were wide awake as they stared at the passageway in excitement. They couldn’t wait to plunge head first and explore the dreamland for any Low-Rank Demons. The last floor just before they become Middle-Rank Demons.
