Preview: A happy aura bursted out from the Sunflower as it brought its body around the place with its roots.

Skreee! A cry could be heard as another unlucky fella fell to the monstrous sunflower. It has been 5 days since the Little Sunflower ate the Fiery Hound. Since then, it started to move around the Muddy Swamp Region trying to hunt and fill the blank areas in its mind map.

It’s been trying to strengthen itself while at the same time familiarizing with the surrounding geographical location. While doing all these, it also noticed that its overall control over its body has gotten better and now it could choose whether to shrink some of its parts like the flower and leaves or even change its color to blend in with the surroundings. Unfortunately, the ability to change colors isn’t too effective as most demons use the ability to sense heat, smell and other senses in this dark and cold environment.

Amidst all of these, the Little Sunflower kept on moving from place to place and hunted whatever it saw. Its curiosity was endless like a child with infinite energy moving around. The only difference was that this child was murderous and curious, a very bad combination.

It went to the western part of the swamp and found poisonous lizards then killed and observed them. “Oh these things look delish. I wonder how they taste?” Roots flew through the air and pierced the lizards roaming on the Underworld Plants and trees. The poisonous lizards, just like the Demon Worm, are a relatively weak race. They can only coat their tongues with poison and hunt their prey that way. And with their weak and small bodies, they didn’t have much prey in their menu. Now, they were suddenly struck by such a disaster out of nowhere as their species went extinct in this swamp.

After the little Sunflower finished its trip there, it started heading south because according to the memories it obtained from the preys, a group of carnivorous plants lived there. It made the sunflower wonder if there are creatures there that are similar to itself and how would they taste like.

I wonder if I can find new food there and if they’re delicious! The Little Sunflower drooled at the thought of getting to eat a new type of food. This information piqued its interest and started to urge its roots to head there. As it slowly arrived, it gradually noticed the peculiarity of this place. It was too silent! There was barely any sound of poisonous insects, or the sound of small beasts footsteps, one could only hear silence! In this silent world, one could barely hear the sound of snapping and weak cries of help before shortly disappearing.

Such oddity was especially obvious in a place like the Underworld and a crowded place like the Muddy Swamp Region

The Little Sunflower finally reached her destination after 5 days of traveling and gradually saw the outline of the carnivorous plants. They were huge, as in big ass HUGE! They were overall 10 feet tall and possibly the biggest creatures in this Muddy Swamp Region.

These humongous creatures usually stay in place and act like the trees in Muddy Swamp Region, but once a slight vibration in the air gets sent towards its sensors, it would immediately swoop down and try to devour the creatures whole. And it was exactly this that was happening at the moment. The moment the Little Sunflower entered the range of the Carnivorous Plants, they immediately swooped down with precise accuracy and showed their true terrifying colors.

The Little Sunflower originally wanted to communicate with them first to see if they were the same types of “people” , but sensing the danger it was currently in, it immediately discarded that thought and hurriedly moved its body to the side. But even with its extremely fast reaction, a few of its leaves were still torn off and devoured. “Ahh! My leaves!” The extreme pain made it cry out loud as it was the first time it felt pain. Pain was new. And it disliked this new feeling. But still, it obediently recorded the pain in its database for future references.

Due to the pain, the sunflower’s combat strength fell as it stared at the incoming snappers from the carnivorous plants. The carnivorous plants had the appearance of trees with large leaves, and their leaves could move and snap into two to catch their prey.

It felt hopeless watching the ten feet figures surrounding it and felt that its initial wish to meet and eat them was stupid. It lacked more strength and experience to deal with the problem in front as it was taught a harsh lesson of this cruel place.

With no choice, it could only send out its roots to entangle with the carnivorous plants. Many of its parts were bitten by the snappers and dissolved by their digestive juice. It gradually felt desperate as it felt the threat of death until finally, the carnivorous plants’ movements slowed down.

It didn’t understand what happened but found this opportunity to take a break and finally pierce through the bodies of the carnivorous plants. It tried to absorb their nutrients and also try communicating but unfortunately, they were mindless and only had thoughts of devouring and eating inside their minds. This disappointed the sunflower but it didn’t last long as the fresh taste of carnivorous plants traveled through its roots. It tasted differently from the usual flesh and blood of demons and it enjoyed this taste.
