Preview: The fight took place in an instant as sounds of rock pounding and sizzlings echoed throughout the place. It was so intense as though two different kinds of armies were fighting on a battlefield even though the participants were only a small sunflower, a centipede, and a Predator against an entire race of demons.
Yhaele took a step forward and lunged towards one of the burning bastards. Clutching the handle of his Soleis Spear - yes - he finally has a handle after that meeting with Artho. He raises the crimson-red and flaming spear as he swipes it down diagonally, creating a flaming thin arc that lasts a second in the air. The Magma Rock Demon noticed the little bug approaching and raised its bulky and rocky arms. It managed to block the strike magnificently but a kick went towards its chest in that short instant. Caught off guard, it took 4 steps back and was enraged that a bug managed to push it back.
“Ow, ow, ow, that hurts! This thing is hella hard and hot!” Yhaele clutched his left foot that he used to kick as he felt his toes and fingers broken and burnt. He regretted trying to be a badass and jumped around like a fool around the battlefield. He had a spear yet used his legs to hit his enemy. If there’s a word to describe his actions, then there's only one fitting and that is - stupid.
The Magma Rock Demon felt humiliated and raised its stocky arms that were made up of volcanic rocks. It brings it down towards Yhaele’s face as he was still jumping around like a buffoon when Yhaele’s right hand - which was holding the spear - suddenly twisted and pierced the holes that are supposed to be the golem’s eye sockets.
Flaming white liquid splashed on the ground and sizzling sounds echoed as the spot it dropped to melted. “Arrgh! My eyes! You f*cker!!” It was enraged and went absolutely ballistic and swung its arms in all directions without caring about whether hitting friend or foe.
Rocks pounding and falling could be heard as Yhaele kept dodging around nimbly and the berserk Magma Rock Demon he was facing kept on engaging friendly fire. “Dumbass, why are you hitting us?! Cease your actions and take a look at your opponent! Don't underestimate them! They’re strange!” A rock demon said to its companion who was having a mental breakdown but was ignored and got hit in the face, causing rocks to tumble down the floor.
“What are these?! Argh!! These tentacles are dangerous! Don't let them entangle you and burn them as quickly as possible!” Another rock demon cried out as it was drowned by the ocean of roots and vines. This reminder quickly gave the struggling rock demons a breather and finally managed to fight back a bit. The roots entangling them and trying to break their bodies from inside out started to burn inch by inch as they cheered. “Hurrah! Hurry and burn these bastards! And quickly burn that twig too! It’s the source of it! Aaack!”
Just as it was saying those words, it broke apart and fell into pieces as its burning-hot white liquid dropped to the ground alongside its crumbling body. A black and shiny carapace outlined and revealed its appearance as it jumped outside the crumbling rock demon and dived back underground.
“Bastard! Take care of the centipede too! That critter is hiding and is killing us sneakily one by one! Be careful and don't let it come close! Aaack!” Another one tried to warn its companions but suddenly fell apart like the one before.
The entire place fell into chaos and everyone felt like they were fighting two to three enemies at once. Even though they were the ones with numerical advantage, the advantage felt non-existent as the roots continued to assault them relentlessly, falling apart suddenly and their kin going berserk and attacking everyone.
Gradually, fear gripped the minds of the Magma Rock Demons and their brave charge slowly receded and stopped. Their legs trembled as they watched their companions, kin and family die one by one. And they died in the most baffling, bizarre, and cruel ways they could ever imagine.
Slowly, their desire for battle was drowned by their fear and instinct to survive as some rock demons turned their backs on their companions and knelt down. They expressed their surrender by getting on their knees and bowing their heads deeply, touching the ground with their hard rocky foreheads.

The blood of the companions and kin touched their knees and foreheads but they paid no heed as only fear remained in their usually arrogant minds. Slowly, the others fighting also surrendered and repeated the actions of others. While the stubborn ones continued fighting with their numbers dwindling and eventually getting wiped out.
Burning hot white liquid covered the entire volcanic mountainside while the surviving Magma Rock Demons bowed their heads and expressed their allegiance. They no longer cared about honor nor their image as only the thought of survival prioritized in their minds.
The trio also stopped fighting as they no longer had any enemies to fight and looked around. They see the remaining golems kneeling down like b*kugans with their flaming red rocky like bodies. Their boulder-like appearance when kneeling looked oddly satisfying as Yhaele felt like collecting them in his pockets if they were smaller. How odd. He thought.
“We pledge our allegiance to Masters! The Lord of Tentacles! The Lord of Trickery! And The Lord of Shadows and Dread!”
Synchronous voices rang out as the air trembled from their chorus shout. The trio was dumbfounded as they looked at the now kneeling golems and their minds blacked out.
The Lord of Tentacles??!
The Lord of Trickery??!
The Lord of Shadows and Dread!!
Such thoughts occupied the minds of the three as they vaguely knew which titles were meant for who and that was exactly what confused them. What do they mean Queen of Tentacles?! Do my roots look like tentacles?! Which idiot would mistake them for tentacles?! She was furious at the title bestowed to her as she felt her lovely roots were insulted. She wanted nothing more than to kill these bastards but her mind was still processing the information.
Lord of Trickery?! I mean, it does sound good! But it feels like I’m some evil trickster! It’s not my fault if you guys are just stupid and easily provoked! Why are you giving me such a title! And why is that stupid centipede’s title so damn cool?! Yhaele inwardly cried out as he felt the injustice and cruelty of life. Even though he did nothing wrong and only fought them the way he was taught in his human life, he was bestowed a title associated with scammers and conmen, greatly saddening him and made his mood plummet even though he just finished a victorious battle.
The Lord of Shadows and Dread?! This… This!! Could it be that I’m also a Lord now?!!? And one that rules in the Shadows and brings Dread?! No, wait! I can’t be superior to my master!! What do I do now!? Pendra was originally ecstatic at his new title when he suddenly realized the situation he was put in. These damn bastards! They’re sabotaging me! I’m sure they must’ve hated me with how I hunted them one by one without being able to do anything! Pendra clacked his mandibles in annoyance as he was put in an awkward situation. He liked his title but he was also in a great dilemma of what to do.
The simple and honest words that came from the Magma Rock Demons temporarily paralyzed the three and silence ensued.
The awkward situation continued until a brave rock demon spoke up “Um, Masters?” and jolted them awake.
“What do you mean by-” “Lord of Tentacles?!” “Lord of Trickery?!” “Lord of Shadows and Dread?!” They simultaneously raised their voices and shouted at the stupid rocks.
The Magma Rock Demons were startled and almost ran away in fear as they couldn’t understand where exactly they went wrong. They only bestowed titles that they felt suited each individual based on their performance in the battlefield. And now, it seems they did something wrong?
“Um, is there anything wrong about it?” Asked the brave rock demon who spoke up earlier timidly.
“Everything about it is wrong!” The trio shouted at the same time, once again scaring the b*kugans kneeling on the ground. Their words befuddled and confused them as they couldn’t find anything wrong about it and could only look at each other in confusion and silence.
“Sigh.” A sigh echoed as Yhaele was the first to compose himself and asked the key question. “What do you mean by allegiance?” He vaguely feels like he understands but this is the first time he’s ever encountered such a situation nor heard about it in Hell. It was quite unbelievable and he didn't want to think about it.
“Um, exactly what w-we mean. We wish to surrender and acknowledge you as our Masters. We’ll follow all your instructions and fight for you!” Simple-minded words came out of the same rock demon and the others nodded their heads in agreement.
The trio couldn’t comprehend the scenario taking place in front of them at the moment. Although they did expect to win, they never expected this kind of victory.
Thinking about the Magma Rock Demons following them in their future battles, they couldn’t help but feel excited. Just the thought of hundreds of them marching would send any tiny demon to tears. And being able to control and command all of them!? That just makes things even more interesting.
