Preview: “And, you can always borrow it from me if you want to.” Everyone felt silent as they tacitly agreed to let Yhaele keep them.
Whoosh! Flames rose as the crude crimson-red spear lit up, drawing an arc in the air before disappearing.
Yhaele was testing the effectiveness of his current magic steel, Soleis Ore Spear or Soleis Spear.
Yhaele was someone who loved to use spears and he honed that skill in the 10 years of his life in the battlefield. Although he also knows how to use all kinds of weapons, his knowledge and proficiency on them could only be described as surface level compared to his mastery in the spear.
“This is good! Whenever I swung the spear fast enough, thin strokes of flames would appear on the surface! The only problem is that! The flames appear even on the handle! Although I am already a demon with hard cover scales, the heat still affects my hand.” Explained Yhale in amazement to the two demons who were looking excited about the effects. They were looking forward to the effects of their masterpieces being the strongest divine weapon out there that could change the entire balance of the Underworld.
“Is that it? What are the other effects? Can you destroy that volcano? Can you kill that guy now?” Sunirae asked excitedly as she looked forward to killing that arrogant guy and eating him or humiliating that guy and turning him into a slave. Hmph, just you wait! Once our divine artifacts showcase their effects, you’re gonna be our first target!
“Hm, it's also much stronger than an iron spear, though I’m not sure by how much. And the prerequisite needed to wield it requires one to have extraordinary strength and dexterity, most preferably a humanoid creature. And I suppose you can also use it to grill things, which I couldn't do previously!” Described Yhaele in detail as he continued exploring the effects of the new set of weapons. In his opinion, these could only be described as amazing! He could clearly feel that they are several times stronger than the ordinary spear he used to wield in the military and even has the magical effect of flames burning if the friction with the air has enough speed. But although it is a boon, it is also a disadvantage. Because all of their weapons were made in one-piece, from the blade to the body. The effects work throughout the whole weapon, allowing the wielder to not only utilize the sharp end, but also hit an enemy with a burning steel. But it also makes the wielder have to endure the flames and burn themselves occasionally. And because the whole weapon is built from steel, it is quite heavy to use so it needs considerable strength just to swipe it and carry it along, easily exhausting a weak wielder in combat.

“Huh, is that it? Are there no more? Can you not destroy that volcano?” Pointed Pendra with his antennae towards the volcano where Pizon, the draconic creature resided.
“Yes, but the material is strong enough to withstand an attack that could shatter that volcano if the wielder is strong enough. So, it needs to have a strong wielder just like every weapon does. There are no bad decisions nor tools, it only depends on the wielder if they could achieve a lot by wielding them.” Replied Yhaele confidently as he is quite the expert and knows he could definitely stimulate the potentials of this spear, as for the daggers, he could use them during close-combat or when he loses his spear. He could also use it for dismantling to get specific parts to help with his future plans.
“So that's it? Isn't it kind of.. Weak?” Sunirae sadly said as her sky-high expectations were shattered.
I feel like magic may be more useful than those things. Mulled Sunirae as she observed the other weapons sprawled on the ground. She thought about how these things needed specific wielders only to have limited effects, greatly disappointing her.
Mmm, but they are good! Because I made them! As long as Yhale can grow stronger, we can always destroy that volcano! That means the problem isn't with my creation, but this ugly creature! We need to strengthen him! Me too! Sunirae felt better as she felt that the problem isn't with the weapons she made but was with Yhale. She also felt that they were currently too weak, they couldn't even put up a fight against Pizon, especially Yhaele.
Although she did manage to drive him away once, that was due to her borrowing Underworld’s powers and not her own. She felt like it wasn’t really her achievement but the realm’s. She felt that she needed to acquire power of the same level that she could call her own.
And the disadvantages of borrowing power from the realm is putting your life on the line. You would need to prepare for the fact that you might just explode at any moment if your control over the mana gets disrupted. There’s also the fact that you might get invaded by the will of the Underworld and go mad, becoming a mindless demon like most Low-Rank demons are.
Sunirae could still remember the feeling of her impulses and desire to destroy everything were greatly amplified while she was in that augmented state. She felt that she could destroy everything and voices that told her that she should buzzed endlessly in her mind. She was also constantly attacked by the amplified desires to absorb more power but luckily, she controlled herself on time and stopped at her limit. She knew that if she went further, she would most likely explode and die. The tearing pain that brought with it power made her have second thoughts using it again as she felt that the risks were too high. And she still couldn’t understand how she could possibly absorb that much power and not explode.
“Alright, since we are still weak, SPY needs to do lots of strengthening! That means one thing! We need to eat! We need to eat more! We need to hunt prey!” Sunirae declared all of a sudden. Catching the two demons off guard.
Her roots suddenly crept towards Yhaele and Penda chewing on salamander meat and brought some of the roots hundreds of meters away and dragged himself and everyone else. Of course, she didn't forget to bring the other weapons and scraps she made.
“Waaait, master! I’m still eatinggg! AaaaAaAh!” “AaaAaAAahhHhHHhh '' Screams rang out as the sound of the wind blocked Yhaele’s ears and Pendra’s food fell from his mouth while crying.
