"Um... hi mister assassin dude! How has your day been?" Daemonium laughed awkwardly, knowing well that trying to joke around with an assassin that currently wanted to kill him was a bad idea, but look at him now. "I heard that you were able to get that key on the last floor. Did you actually swim for it?"
The assassin was silent.
"So you're not much of a talking type? I get it, I get it, I won't prod. But I think it's quite cool what you do. I actually consider myself quite a big fan of yours, and I would just love it if I could get your autograph!"
The assassin nodded.
"Wait, you're okay with it?" Daemonium was shocked, but decided to go along with it. "I'm so excited! I don't have any paper though. Maybe you can put the signiture on my chest!"
The assassin nodded.
"Great! You have a pen, right?"
The assassin pulled out a gun and pointed it at his chest.
"You have a pen... right?"
Incredibly worried, Daemonium tried to run. And he slipped. And he slipped again, and again, and again. It was so pathetic that the assassin couldn't help but to watch, forgetting that he was supposed to pull the trigger.
Daemonium groaned, tears welling up in his eyes. He thought he would've been done for, but Fake Daemonium was able to quickly scoop him up and run away.
"Fake Daemonium!" Daemonium cheered, tears of joy spilling across the floor. "How are you walking across the floor without slipping!?"
As soon as he said that the fox slipped and hit this fox's head on the floor.
"OH COME ON!" Daemonium looked back to see the assassin zip towards him as if he were an angel on ice. Thinking quickly, Daemonium jump off of Fake Daemonium's back, grabbing onto the assassin's. The assassin flailed about, Daemonium holding onto him like he was a rampaging bull. He wasn't able to do so for long however, and the assassin grabbed him by the hair and tore him off with just one hand.
Dead Daemonium ran to the assassin, ready to destroy him!
They quickly tripped right after.
Knowing it was probably going to trip if it tried running, Green Daemonium stretched its arm and grabbed Dead Daemonium before swinging them at the assassin. Dead Daemonium cooperated, sending a swinging kick right into the assassin's face. Shocked, the assassin dropped Daemonium and he slid far away from him upon landing.
Unable to stop himself, Daemonium could only watch as he slammed into the wall at the other side of the room. It knocked the wind out of him, and it took some time until he could come back to his senses. When he did he looked back to see the assassin racing back towards him yet again, but Dead Daemonium intercepted with another kick to the face after being launched by Green Daemonium.
The assassin turned his attention back to Dead Daemonium, skating on the ice towards them with an extended fist. Green Daemonium grabbed Dead Daemonium again and threw them, this time launching them upwards and over the assassin's head. Dead Daemonium grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, swinging downwards and kicking him in the back. The assassin hardly flinched from the attack though, much to the zombie's shock, and grabbed Dead Daemonium by the next before they could even react.
Daemonium watched the fight intensely, recoiling as the assassin repeatedly slammed Dead Daemonium into the ground. While this was a cool fight scene in his opinion, he quickly realized that he desperately needed to get out of here. Noticing the key nearby, he stuck close to the wall and slowly slid in its direction. Slowly and slowly, he brought himself closer to the key, hoping no one would interrupt them.
So where was Sanguisa in all of this? She first tried to help defend Daemonium when the assassin tried to attack him, but slipped. She then tried to help Dead Daemonium, thinking that a two on one would actually help defeat the assassin, but slipped.
She then realized that if she didn't somehow get through this slippery floor, she would probably never be of help. Slowly picking herself up, she made small tries and attempts to slide the way the assassin was doing so. It was like a young kid roller skating for the first time, scared to keep themselves balanced and hardly moving.
As she did so, Dead Daemonium was being tossed around by the assassin. Green Daemonium tried to grab them and pull them away from the attacks, but this just resulted in it getting mixed up in the attacks with them. The assassin repeatedly slammed them to the ground and bounced them off the walls, Dead Daemonium not dead from the attacks only thanks to Green Daemonium shielding them from the blows. Green Daemonium was going to be fine, it had a great healing factor, or at least that's what it thought. Over time, the relentless attacks seemed to wear it down, and Green Daemonium felt like it could be completely destroyed. Green slime started to get splatted over the ground and walls and ceiling, like the blood of the slime was getting spread everywhere. (Please note that it isn't actual blood though, this work isn't getting tagged for gore.)
The assassin threw the slime and zombie duo, expecting them to bounce back for them to get knocked out with another punch. What he didn't expect was for the two to never come back. Looking back where he tossed them, he found that the two were caught by Fake Daemonium. The fox had stood back up from this fox's previous fall, this time having a better grip on the ground so the fox wouldn't trip. The fox tried to run, but the assassin was much quicker. The assassin slid by, almost like he was wearing roller skates, and was ready to completely destroy the Daemoniums.

"GOT IT!" The assassin turned to where the sound came from, seeing Daemonium right next to the key and ready to pick it up as soon as possible. The assassin instantly stopped in his tracks and raced straight to the half demon, pulling his gun out and ready to strike. Daemonium panicked, quickly trying to grab the key and get to the door, but the key slipped out of his fingers as soon as he grabbed it.
The key slid across the ground, going further and further from him at every moment. Daemonium chased after the key, while the assassin chased after Daemonium, and Fake Daemonium chased after the assassin. The assassin pulled out his gun, ready to fire at Daemonium, but his gun was grabbed and stolen by Green Daemonium. The assassin didn't worry, getting another pistol and aiming at the Daemoniums. Fake Daemonium struggled to dodge, almost slipping and falling over multiple times.
Realizing this wasn't going to help, Fake Daemonium used this fox's tails to fling Green and Dead Daemonium at the assassin. Green Daemonium grabbed the assassin by the head before stretching its arm out to the gold door, attempting to hold him down. Dead Daemonium kicked the assassin in the back, grabbed his arms, and attempted to keep him pinned to the ground. While it seemed like it would be difficult, if not impossible, to break away, the assassin was able to easily shrug them off. Dead Daemonium was thrown to the other side of the room, having to be caught by Fake Daemonium, while Green Daemonium was let go so quickly it snapped like a rubber band.
Daemonium desperately tried to grab the key, but every time his hands clamped down on it the key slipped out of his hands. Unlike the other keys it seemed like this one had no holes or hooks for him to grab on, so it seemed impossible to grab it. Daemonium was getting desperate, nearly giving up until he remembered how Fake Daemonium got around on this floor. He tried grabbing it by his nails, thinking it could've helped, but his nails weren't sharp enough and the key still slipped out of his hands.
He went down to get it, just barely avoiding the punch that the assassin was sending his way. The wall cracked from the attack, freaking Daemonium out as he tried to quickly crawl away. If you guessed that he ended up slipping, you're exactly right. He tried to get far away, but the assassin put the gun straight to his head. He thought that this was it and was terrified for his life, but the assassin was quickly slashed before he could pull the trigger by a now completely balanced Sanguisa.
"Are you alright?" While showing concern for Daemonium, Sanguisa couldn't turn away due to focusing on the assassin. The assassin was busy throwing many punches at her, which she attempted to parry while keeping her balance.
"I'm okay." Daemonium shook, looking for the key as quickly as he could. Upon seeing it next to Sanguisa, he had an idea. "Sanguisa, can you grab that key for me?"
"I'm busy fighting a powerful assassin, of course I can't!"
"Oh." He then turned to Fake Daemonium. "Fake Daemonium, grabbed the key!"
Fake Daemonium ran to the key, grabbing it in this fox's mouth and running straight to Daemonium. The assassin noticed this, knocking Sanguisa out of the way before skating straight towards the kitsune. Fake Daemonium tried to avoid it by making many illusory doubles of this fox, but the assassin simply shot the doubles as soon as they were made.
Fake Daemonium tossed the key to Daemonium, who had the key almost instantly shoot out of his hands like a rocket. Luckily Sanguisa was able to catch it, using her nails to grab it more effectively than Daemonium. Seeing Daemonium getting chased down by the assassin, she towards him and dragged him towards the gold door.
"When did you learn to skate so well?" Daemonium was genuinely curious.
Sanguisa shrugged. "Just now I guess."
Sanguisa stopped by the door, putting the key in and opening it. She put Daemonium inside and went to face the assassin, but Daemonium grabbed her by the hand and pulled her back.
"Wait a minute," Daemonium said, walking back out. "This is all a part of my plan."
"When did you make this plan?" Sanguisa was genuinely curious.
Daemonium shrugged. "Just now I guess."
The assassin raced towards him, his hand raised and ready to strike. Daemonium stood there, ready to take the hit, before deciding to move out of the way at the last moment. Once the assassin crashed into Sanguisa, finding himself having gone through the door, Daemonium quickly took the door knob and slammed it shut. The assassin tried to pull the door back open, but it was locked.
As the room reset itself once again Daemonium sighed. He sat down and rested, thinking this was his best plan yet. After all, now they couldn't be chased directly. The only way for the assassin to get to them is for him to go to them.
And that's when he realized this was his worst plan yet.
Daemonium panicked as he realized that all the assassin had to do is sit there and wait for him to come up. His options were either to be trapped on this floor forever, or run straight into his own death. He was basically doomed.
Daemonium just looked down and stood by the door with disappointment. He quickly fell backwards however, as Fake Daemonium got the key and placed it in without him noticing.
Fake Daemonium, Green Daemonium, and Dead Daemonium went up the stairs, much to Daemonium's disappointment. Daemonium reluctantly followed, afraid to see the assassin in front of them. He opened the door, and closed his eyes in anticipation, only to realize no one was there.
