The eighteenth floor was where Daemonium was sure this was all going to end. The lava was far too intense, so hot that the heat radiated throughout the room. The key floated on top of the lava, drifting further and further away from them and seeming more and more out of reach. Since Daemonium couldn't swim in lava, he simply thought it was impossible.
That's when he got an idea. The rocks around him were probably somewhat lava resistant, especially considering they had ground to stand on. Maybe if he took some of the rocks, and gave them to the golem that he still hasn't figured out a name for, the golem could fish the key out. But the only problem was that there weren't any lose rocks to use. The only way he'd be able to enact his plan is by destroying some of the rock he was standing on for use for the golem he still doesn't have a name for. He got Dead Daemonium to smash some of the rock below them, making some of the lava sink in and encroach the Daemoniums. It was probably going to be fine though, as long as he got the golem to help him. And where was the golem?
The golem simply walked into the lava by zhemself, grabbed the key and walked back to Daemonium with it in hand. Daemonium looked dumbfounded, as he apparently didn't need to do any of this at all.
He wanted to at least get some use of the idea, maybe he could use the rocks to refashion the golam a bit, but Fake Daemonium and the golem he still doesn't have a name for (he better get a name for zhem fast, I'm already sick of this) grabbed Daemonium and ran to the next room, leaving Daemonium in tears.
When the got to the nineteenth floor Daemonium simply sat in the corner, just crying his eyes out that he couldn't make this golem he doesn't have a name for look prettier. He got over it in just a few minutes, which is character development I guess.
This floor was like an aquarium, with the Daemoniums entering a glass tube surrounded by water. Many aquatic species were found swimming through that water, the key being around a chain on the neck of a killer shark.
"So there are two things we need to consider," Daemonium said, strategizing with his team. "The first is how we are going to get into the water without flooding the rest of the room, and the second is how we'll steal the key from that shark without alerting it. Got any ideas?"
Fake Daemonium reverted back to this fox's original form, showing off this fox's tough claws after hearing Daemonium's question.
"I guess that could probably work," Daemonium said. "But we'd have to slowly cut a neat hole at the bottom of the glass, so we don't alert the shark in anyway. But something sharp like that would probably alert the shark if we used it to cut the chain. Dead Daemonium, maybe you can cut the chain?"
Dead Daemonium was unsure, but Green Daemonium put its hand on their shoulder and smiled in an attempt to reassure them. Dead Daemonium definitely wasn't reassured by this, freaking out and wondering what the slime's plan was. Green Daemonium just continued smiling, trying to reassure them that it meant no harm.
"Okay then, so Fake Daemonium is going to open a hole for Dead Daemonium to enter through, get the key off of the shark's chain, then be pulled back by Green Daemonium. Everyone got it?"
Green Daemonium, Dead Daemonium, and Fake Daemonium put their thumbs up.
"I guess that's everyone, right?"
No, that was not right.
Daemonium had forgotten all about the golem he forgot to give a name to, who was quite upset about being left out of the discussion. Zhe really wanted to help out and had an idea of how. So zhe punched the glass wall repeatedly, cracking it as much as zhe could before it shattered into tons of pieces. The unnamed golem jumped out, punching the shark and ready to grab the key. Zhe didn't account for literally being made of rocks, meaning that zhe started to sink and couldn't suface. When I said zhe had a plan, I never specified that it was a good plan.
"Run!" That wasn't the end of it. Gallons upon gallons of water tore their way through the glass, and the Daemoniums attempted to run from the killer wave. Like a deadly beast, the large surge of water pounced on them and completely swallowed them up. The sudden force of the water completely destroyed the glass tunnel, leaving them no hope as they ended up completely submerged within the water and left to drown.
Daemonium looked down. Below him was the same shark with the key around its neck, and above was simply a ceiling, with no hope of any air for him to breathe. He wasn't confident in his ability to hold his breath, or simply swim for that matter, he just wasn't too hopeful in his ability to survive in general. What he did notice was the nameless golem, sinking as low as zhe could possibly sink.
Daemonium swam as fast as he could, following the sinking pile of rocks to the depths of the flooded room. While he was able to catch up to and grab the unnamed golem, he wasn't strong enough to pull zhem upwards and prevent zhem from sinking. Green Daemonium stretched itself down like a rope, with Fake Daemonium and Dead Daemonium on the other side to help pull the two up. It was difficult, but they were barely able to stop them from sinking. It was far from their only problem however, with the group getting spotted and targetted by the shark.
I probably should've told you about the shark. The shark that was holding the key this entire time was known as a silver dragon shark, known for its shiny rough skin that looked and felt like millions of small blades all over its skin. It's four eyes were able to send shivers through anything that dared to swim in its territory, and its large teeth were able to cause magor damage when shot out at their opponents. And I guess I forgot to mention that it was able to shoot its teeth...
If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Openning its mouth wide, the many rows of teeth were launched at such speeds it was like a machine gun was targeting the Daemoniums. They tried to avoid it, but they can't swim. The teeth sank into their skin and penetrated them like they were needles poking into balloons.
Weakened, and unable to get away, the silver dragon shark quickly chomped down on Dead Daemonium and Fake Daemonium, swallowing them in one gulp. Green Daemonium hang out of its mouth like a noodle, which the shark slurped up exactly like one. It also happened to swallow the Daemonium and currently nameless golem attached to the end.
The shark burped. Satisfied with the meal.
That's it. That's the end. The five were digested in the shark's stomach acid and provided great sustenance to this beast, who proceeded to eat many more that climbed up this tower. And that was it. The end. Daemonium's story is over.

Alright, I'm lying. His half of the story's not ending here. The author wouldn't be able to fantasize about a movie and non-existant success if the story ended here.
As the shark swam about, unbeknownst to it, Green Daemonium's arm stretched out from between its teeth and extended down to the neck. The key was loosened off the chain, slowly enough that the shark didn't notice, and Green Daemonium celebrated its catch.
"How great!" Daemonium applauded the slime and patted its head. "Now HELP US GET OUT OF HERE!"
The gang were clinging onto Fake Daemonium, who was using this fox's claws to hang onto the top of the shark's stomach. If Fake Daemonium slipped even a little bit, all five of them would fall into the deadly stomach acid of the beast, forced to be nothing more than nourishment for this shark. I'm not sure how much nourishment some green gelatin, a zombie, and a literal pile of rocks would provide a shark, and I don't know how much nutritional value a half demon has, but real sharks have eaten worse so it probably doesn't matter to this one. Fake Daemonium's claws cut deep into the sharks flesh, struggling to keep this fox and the others alive. It certainly pained the shark's stomach, but it's a shark. What is it supposed to do about stomach pain.
"Just get this key to the door and get us through." Hearing Daemonium's request, Green Daemonium gave a salute and went on its way. Like before, it stretched its arm through the teeth without the shark noticing, and the arm slithered and made its way to the door. The key was put in and the door was opened, water flushing into the door like a drain that was unplugged.
Green Daemonium's hand grabbed onto the edge, making its arm like a tightrope between the shark and the door. Signalling the other Daemoniums, they slowly made their way over it and to the door. Daemonium and Dead Daemonium were the first to go, narrowly avoiding the teeth as they made their way to the door. Dead Daemonium almost slipped off once, and Daemonium felt like fainting from holding his breath over such a long distance, but they made it to the door and out of the water okay.
Next was the unnamed golem. The other two, as flexible as they were, had a bit of difficulty weaving their way through the large teeth. A literal pile of rocks however... yeah, they've got a problem now.
The amount of teeth that were shattered and sanded to dust as the unnamed golem crawled through was astounding, and the shark basically cried out in pain from it all. The shark's teeth did grow back, but now it noticed the long slime coming out of its mouth and it was furious.
The shark pulled on Green Daemonium's arm, attempting to slurp it back up like a noodle. When that failed the shark shook its mouth up and down, shaking Green Daemoniums arm and knocking the golem right off. The shark then went down and swallowed zhem, the golem going right back where zhe started.
The golem tried again. Zhe was quickly eaten. Zhe tried again. Zhe was quickly eaten. The golem tried so many times that the shark was starting to get sick of the taste of rock.
Meanwhile, Daemonium and Dead Daemonium sighed, waiting for the others to finally make it over.
The golem that Daemonium still hasn't named yet had a plan. Once zhe got onto the arm again, zhe shifted the position of the rocks that made up zhis body, making them more of a ring or bead on the green string. It seemed to work, with the golem not falling of every time the string shook. Zhe was quite happy about it, until the shark simply swam over to zhem and smacked zhem off with its tail.
Daemonium and Dead Daemonium were still waiting, with Daemonium getting worried but refusing to leave since he'd probably just drown. Green Daemonium's arm was still there, so it seemed to be alright.
The golem tried the same strategy again, but the shark followed to smack zhem off. This time the golem that really needs a name soon was prepared, dodging the strike at the last moment. The shark wasn't going to stop there however, firing its teeth at the golem and trying to bite and smack zhem at every oppurtunity.
Daemonium sighed, realising that they were probably going to be alone together for awhile. Dead Daemonium cheered, realising they were probably going to be alone together for awhile.
The golem made desperate attempts to dodge the shark, attacks from the tail swishing through the water like the slice of a sword. Every one of the shark's attacks were incredibly oppressive, and it seemed as if their goal was to prevent zhem from getting anywhere near the door. It seemed to work, with the shark excitedly biting into the green rope, thinking it would kill zhem. While the golem was inside the shark's mouth again, zhe quickly ran out and smashed through the teeth, going straight through the door while the shark was somewhat dazed from the pain.
The shark tried to chase and kill zhem, following them to the door, but it was far too big. Its open mouth was stuck inside the door, allowing Green Daemonium and Fake Daemonium to crawl out safely. Daemonium was quite happy and welcomed them with open arms, while Dead Daemonium was less happy since their fun with Daemonium was interrupted.
And they all lived happily ever after... unless you're an unnamed golem. The golem simply looked down with disappointment, upset that zhis attempts to help only resulted in further trouble. While the gang continued to move forward, the golem stayed behind as an outsider.
Daemonium saw this, choosing not to say anything. Instead, he simply grabbed the golem's hand, or rock I guess, and pulled zhem up the stairs with a smile. He add already forgotten all about the incident, and was glad to have this golem join him no matter what zhe did. His only concern was finally gtting a name for zhem.
And the golem fell in love all over again.
