Chapter 12 The Purr

================================

"How familiar are you with a Wizard named Zeta?"

"Who?"

"Zeta, a Wizard whose supposed to be knowledgeable enough in regards to Dragons?"

"Please... I don't know anyone with that name."

"Alright, what about a place where a cave near the place where the sol meets his twin and collide?"

"I don't know! Please, let me go."

"Not when I get to know where Garin is, or, you give me the answers I am looking for. Until then, you will not be free from there nor will you be able to log out."

Imagine an isolated room. A chair. Ropes. Guns. The «Killing Zone». Then your hands laid bare, open palms, holding an E-Grenade on one hand and a Flash Bang on the other, with pins pulled a quarter away from activation.

If she as much as move her fingers away from the pins to access her Player Window, the bombs will both explode at the same time, stunning her, blinding her, and igniting the blob of plasma air surround the room.

But what actually made her frightened on this torture is the fact that the whole room was closed.

To her, it may just be a meaningless effort to hide what was happening inside the room, but she knew very well what Plasma Smoke Screen and an E-Grenade will do.

What more, just looking at the cursed state of Siva in his Red and Black Domino, with the black aura moving around his body, the mental torture she was receiving is just too much to bear.

She was crying, begging, answering his questions with as much honesty and as fast as she can.

"You tried to kill me. I suffered a lot in that forest but I lived so look at me now. LOOK AT ME!"

"Waaa... I'm looking! I'm looking... I'm looking, so please don't hurt me!" The hysterical plead escaped her andSiva returned to being calm.

"I told you, I'm not going to hurt you."

"So why with the bombs?" But the situation betrayed the effort for comfort.

"Well, I need you to follow my commands without so much protests so you need to be disciplined. This is just one way of many things I can use. You pushed me on the edge of my patience and now I have to suffer all the problems you've caused me."

"I'm sorry. Please, forgive me, please."

Cassiopeia was crying. Such cruelty, her impending desolation in such a way was unbearable for her pride.

At least if she's going to die, she wanted it to be in the hands of a strong enemy, worthy of her respect, worthy of her admiration.

But if her defeat was going to be in the hands of a devil such as The Destroyer, then she decided, no matter how hard is his tortures, she will live and not break down.

"I already forgave you when I realized I was in Anazon Forest. I had a mission to go there, you see, and your friend, Garin, made it easier for me. Now, what I need to know is how you managed to teleport us that quickly from Maria to Anazon."

"Its through a Teleport Gate! A Teleport Gate, honest!"

"What teleport gate?"

"The Magus Archive! The magus Archive!"

"Magus Archive?" Siva hoarded his vast information database in his mind and found a few reference to the name, including one he had received lately. "Tell me."

"It's a place, not existing in this dimension. It can only be accessed through a certain mission, given only by the Temple to high ranking Wizards with titles."

To the word of 'titles', Siva's expression, sadly not a speck visible, soured. He suddenly felt the pangs of ill regret on not receiving those two very rare titles he had came across with.

Is there any chance he could get those again?

Not anymore, he answered his own mental question as hard as he can. Note to self: Lower pride, accept title.

"Is there a way around it?"

Cassiopeia thought for a moment, then she raised her head only to regret it when she saw Siva waiting for her to reply with such intense gaze.

The black smoke skin frightened her and she pulled her head down as soon as she can.

"Th-There is one from the Great Library. There is a secret room in every Great Library where the keeper of The Book of Legends always stay. If you can find it and talk to him, or her, then he/she can point you on the location where you can find a Teleport Gate."

Siva knelt down to meet her down cast eyes. He lifted her head to his and the girl squealed in fright as she and him stared eye to eye. Even from behind the mask that Siva wore, she still could feel his intense gaze.

It has already been a long time since she had emptied her tears reservoir.

All she could do now is to tremble in fear.

"How can I find this room?" Siva asked softly, petting her cheeks and chin.

Weirdly enough, he remembered where he learned this weird technique and Siva doesn't like the idea of ever meeting that woman again.

He knew very well that there's just no good news that she will ever bring to him. Although, if there really are any, he knew that it would just, as always, be on her advantage in expense of his resources. Such is the level of the viciousness that woman.

Siva shivered on the entire train of thought that, instead of calming Cassiopeia, frightened her more.

Imagine a vibrating devil-skinned Siva while holding your chin affectionately...

But she really have no idea. "I don't know. I just heard it from an NPC in Aarun a long time ago."

"Aarun?" A sudden feeling of longing to his starting city entered Siva's heart.

"A male guardian. His name, I think, is Gilberto ."

"Gilberto..." Siva tried to recall the familiar name. The first person who entered his thoughts was the cab driver in Maria, but his name was Gilbert, without the 'O' so Gilberto... "Ah!"

He finally remembered.

"Male guard, that guy!"

"You know him?" Cassiopeia asked, regretting she ever raised her head to look at Siva.

"I did. Once. When I was just a beginner three months ago."

Cassiopeia's eyed widened in shock. "Three months ago?!" she repeated. "When did you start the game, the exact month, if you don't mind me asking."

A sudden sense of curiosity hit her heart. To hear if her intuition was right, then it proves that this guy here is not an ordinary player.

So when she heard the answer, "August."

—that's really three months ago! He's just playing the game for exactly three months!

To gain such strength in just three months, it was about as impossible to imagine as it was. She was a player who started a few months after the game's release and she could only proudly say she was strong after a year in the game.

That's exactly three years inside Terroa's time frame!

But The Destroyer broke her record, no, anyone's own record and became this strong in just three months! To imagine such hardship he did to make it up this way is just too profoundly astounding, it was amazing!

She felt her heart skip a beat —no every beat it skip is like playing marathon heart beat skipping! She could feel her breath shorten, she wondered why.

She could almost hear her heart beating wildly on her D-cup chest. Not to brag but she was proud of it and no man had yet to own her heart, much less her seductive body. Maybe, perhaps, until now.

"I love you."

"Excuse me?"

"Uh, I mean. Please free me so I can serve you!"

"Like hell that will happen. And what do you mean you will serve me?"

"Please, master, make me your slave! I'll do anything to serve you! My lord! My master! My God!"

—Shit, did she snapped out?

—Maybe I over did the scare factor? Shit this is bad.

Guilt crept over Siva, he took the bombs on her hands and accepted the fact that she'll run away. He is not a bad person and he felt guilty ever resorting to the cruel mental torture he learned from the owner of the Miranda.

But Cassiopeia didn't escape. Instead, she was smiling so warmly at him that the fright she wore earlier had vanished in the mask of her delight.

She was now even looking at him with glee!

—Creepy!

Siva undid her ties and back away.

"Y-You're free to go now."

But instead of escaping, Cassiopeia kneeled down at his feet and bowed, as if to worship him.

"Please, master! Make me your woman! I will do all you will order me so please don't push me away!"

"Like hell that will happen!"

"Please, I'll tell you anything, everything I know about the Magus Archive. So please don't send me away."

A girl who enslaved men before using the charms she had, now wants to serve under a demon king. Such turn of events was like a novel event. This is not a manga!

But Siva took the bait. He needed information that bad.

"Anything?"

"Anything! I will do your bidding so please, don't push me away. Make me your woman! I am yours!"

"J-Just drop the woman thing. I need people I can trust to gather information for me so can I trust you?" Siva thought about it. He can use this chance to find the location of the Helium Guild.

"Yes master!" Cassiopeia was on her knees, eyes wide with sparkling light.

Sometimes, Siva hated the exaggerated animations the NL-Device makes. It can literally read what the user is feeling and translate it to animations such as this one where he knew that Cassiopeia's honest thoughts were revolving around joy.

She was honestly having pleasure being of use to him.

The 'great anticipation' emoticon, those sparkling stars above her head and beside her eyes, including her eyes, twinkling in bright yellow animations were signs of it.

"Alright."

"Yay!"

"Your first mission, send me a complete report of your knowledge about the Magus Archive."

"But I don't have you on my friend list."

Siva was reluctant. What he decided to do was the first time he'd actually do it with a player that he doesn't even know.

But he trusted his instincts, he trusted that he is a good judge of character and he judged that Cassiopeia is not a person that will betray comrades. Look at how she did her best to refrain from telling him information that could sell Garin out.

And yet, there was something that changed her.

Something regarding him playing for just three months in the game. Is it really that big? He could only ask this to no one but himself. He then thought, it wasn't easy, yes, but he was sure there are others more who did even greater accomplishments in a much shorter time than  him.

Those are people who really deserves praises and the level of worshipping Cassiopeia just displayed.

It only concludes one thing.

—Shit. I overdid it.

The guilt in Siva's heart will forever be hid in the depth of his subconsciousness. For now, to atone for the deed he did, he would have to give the woman what she wants: To be of use to him.

Siva swiped the air and a prompt appeared to her.

"Whoa! So your name is not The Destroyer but..."

"Shush!"

"Oh, I get it. Oooohhh I'm so happy right now that I'm a little wet! Ohm..."

Emoticon program activated!

Cassiopeia's eyes swerved towards Siva and her cheeks were red hot and her eyes seemed talking... again, but more detailed.

In terms of allure, she was just a few notch behind the Goddess of Seduction, Rafaela, but in terms of beauty, in Siva's standards, she was left behind by Amanda. In general, she was third, a notch behind Rafaela.

But those two standards weren't here.

She dominated his field of vision and the enticing eyes, purry voice and graceful motions were tempting his all but lonely and sad self.

—No!

He slapped his mental self.

—Snap out of it! You still have a job to do!

Cassiopeia slowly approached him and her hands were all moving gracefully, stealing his soul, undoing his shirt... lower and lower, one button at a time.

—Gundamn it! I'm a virgin!

—Fucking snap out of it, fool!

—But... but... MEEEEEEAAAT...!!

—It's not real! It's an illusion!

—But her fingers are smooth and she smells like a fox!

—No buts! Baron needs our help!

—Our hand's on her butt already!

—Shit! If you don't stop, I'm going to contact Rafaela.

—Don't you dare!

Siva's eyes snapped open and he stopped the hands that was trying to wake up the dragon between his legs. It was a good thing it was still inside its cage for he might have regretted the aftermath if it went on a rampage.

"Master?"

"You have a mission, correct?"

Cassiopeia's eyes sparkled again, but this time it was a more professional glow than the sexual trans she was just in, a few moments ago.

"I will do my master's bidding." she said gleefully with a smooth bow. "But is that all? It's so easy. Give me something... harder—" She glanced below, "—to do, master."

"Very well," Siva's tone was acidic. "Find out about Zeta and the place I am looking for. When you're done, I want you to find Helium's leader next."

A cold smile broadened on Cassiopeia's lips.

Siva learned from Jack that him and her group wasn't in good standing. So he used that fact to his advantage.

"I assume I have to be discreet?"

"As much as possible."

"Understood."

Siva remained stolid, buttoning back his iconic Left Ryodan Polo. Cassiopeia did another wink as she left the room seductively.

—What just happened?

He asked himself as he eyed the closed door.

They entered the room as captive and hostage taker, but they ended up being master and slave.

Just what kind of charm does he have that he always end up with abnormal women with abnormal tastes and sometimes, even fetishes?

Blurrrrrrrrr...

He shivered at the thought of Rafaela.

That evil witch... she had made a deeper impression to him than any abnormal woman ever could. Her strength that can be identified as evil, her malignant fetish to play with him like a slave, forcing him to play as a doll for her to try her dresses to.... Argh!

And she even claims to be his lover! If she did not have those evil fetish, he would have long lost his virginity!

But there is virtue in waiting.

Siva clenched his fist in front his chest, re-steeling his resolve. When he opened his eyes, he saw the floating air of plasma in the room.

"Now what am I gonna do with this?"

Sigh....
