Chapter 286: Grand Patriarch Red Metal
================================
“Hey! Wearing BlackTech… are you serious?”
The one who reacted the loudest was FlowerLord who was the only person around more to the uses and capabilities of BlackTech aside from Siva.
“I am serious.” Siva eyed her. He wasn’t angry but he was dead serious in accomplishing his goals.
“B-But boss… wouldn’t I get minced by the force of the cloak if I were to wear it? The physics and limits of the body won’t be able to endure.”
“…”
Wow.
Everyone almost bailed their wits.
Did he just mention physics and physical limits?
Is he really that a smart of a guy?
“No you won’t.” Siva said nonchalantly, “Unless she wants to scrap you specifically, she can’t do that as long as she is Scion.”
When he spoke to here, he was the first to wear the cloak as a demonstration and after he finished wearing it, the robe automatically closed and his head was automatically sealed off by the shadow under its hood.
Now, no one could see his face and only his eyes were the ones that are visible.
He then explained, “BlackTech is a weapon that focuses on hardness and exploits the properties of the indestructibleness of Black Element. If the [form] the BlackTech uses has a hole inside it, the user can then use this tiny space to fill it up with anything…. be it NanoTech or poison, or just like what I did, a filler form that increases strength and speed, and overemphasizes the limitless possibilities of using BlackTech.”
Everyone here was at least aware of how Siva was using his Erebus after the time they had spent here with Scion. After all, he gave Erebus to Scion to serve as her armor of protection.
FlowerLord had already examined it and had then divulged her own theories on its operation and as well as explained Siva’s technique on utilizing its properties to the ones close to them.
Of course, Fuma of the Archangel had long since had his own theories considering how smart he is.
Seeing their attention was piqued, Siva continued while gesturing to himself, “While I am wearing this, I am free to move and do what I want. Unless Scion orders my arm to choke me to death or perhaps make me stab myself with my own sword, I would really die; but we are inside a Neutral Zone and only with my express permission could someone inside the area that Akhenaton controls will actually be hurt. I also want you (RedMetal) to know that your role is to only be the face of The Company and aside from meetings with other people through Real@D or when we have outside visitors will you actually be using this disguise to show yourself on the public. And besides…”
Siva then gestured to Scion to produce two more black cloaks and made her use The Orb to insert bodies on them.
He had left instructions for Scion to pair the use of The Orb with the Telekinesis Spell. And with FlowerLord serving as her teacher, it was easy to imagine how she’d progress—
—albeit the fact that she doesn’t have even the slightest sliver of battle sense.
Thus, Siva specifically gave her instructions to ‘learn its uses so that she could protect herself’ in the first instance that he gave it to her.
Besides, everything here right now is a movie!
“Give the staff with The Orb to one of the reapers and make the other Erebus hold any weapon that you want. Then produce another Erebus and give it to FlowerLord for total of four black cloaks that will serve as the four main ministers behind the Grand Patriarch.”
FlowerLord became annoyed, “And why do I have to join your script?”
“Because you said that you will always be by her side to protect her. And weren’t you teaching her the ropes of BlackTech during all these time? You can just treat this as extra lessons. Besides, this role playing won’t work without you because you, Efel, and the rest of the cloaked figures will be the deterring faces of The Company. The stronger display you give, the more scared all our potential enemies will think of us. And the more frightened they are, the safer Scion will be. One of the biggest reasons why I’m pushing the creation of The Company is because I need it to also act as another layer of protection to Scion. She… she holds a very special role in this world.”
Of course, Siva couldn’t tell just anyone what she, Scion, carries on her shoulders and what she represents in Terroa.
Perhaps aside from him, Scion is the next most important person in Terroa.
She was the holder of two legacies from the two most powerful and most important Gods of the Terran Universe.
“Hm?” Eleanor, who’s been drinking tea without care in the meeting room, perked her brows to their direction when Siva prompted the detail of her having an important ‘role in this world’.
She met Siva’s gaze for that brief moment and she knew that Siva was actually trying to tell her to act as ‘another layer of protection’ to Scion.
Of course, with the alignment and allegiance of the Circle of Magi being in the side of Janus, this seemingly naïve and innocently adorable Eleanor would not spare an effort to do this role.
She gave Siva a slight nod and sipped her tea.
He couldn’t be any happier as he finished the last sentence.
Aside from the Acolytes and Eleanor’s group who doesn’t really care about all these at all, everyone else in here knew Scion’s freakishly frightening magic ability.

As a Mage, being able to cast high-grade Tier-4 spells in but an instant, with having just a second’s worth of cooldown time, she could cast the same high-grade spell once again, or pair and stack it off with another high-grade Tier-4 spell in her spell arsenal as a finish.
With these magic spells, she could protect herself and have ample time to run away even against a group of people.
Adding to that the aide of BlackTech and the people around her, including the overprotective FlowerLord, her safety against all the players and NPCs of the world could be said to be better than even the president of the Unified Federations of Amerika.
But since they are not going to attack people and is just going to show their force to establish the identity of the ‘Patriarch’ of the Black Weaving Company, it doesn’t pain them to actually create an image that could put a shackle on their possible enemies.
After all, FlowerLord is a BlackTech user as well and when they show it to the public, when there are at least five players who have BlackTech in the ranks of The Company, this show of force will be enough to deter any possible nemeses.
“But why the black cloaks?” Coralline asked.
“It’s because the name of the organization is Black Weaving: Black as in black and Weaving, as in the clothes! So… Black Weaving Company!”
Siva explained the whole thing with a proud tone.
Aside from Scion, Cassiopeia, and Niobe, almost everyone, especially Thorn and Volt who were the only ones who would actually dare, laughed at his simple reasoning to the name.
It’s not that it’s a bad name but it’s just that it was an overly, massively, gloriously, simplistic name that just hearing it won’t make you actually take this organization seriously.
“I feel like I’m hearing a fashion brand from Paris.”
“Yeah… like something that deals with black.”
“Like a rock star’s brand or something…”
“And to think that the face if this fashion brand is a metal band’s vocalist…”
FlowerLord, Loni, Samara, and Kathleen Brew did not even dare to hide their voices as they made their comments.
Siva’s heart felt like breaking. Just how would it seem to sound like a fashion brand when it was clearly for the sake of going well with the fact that Akhenaton’s trademark has something to do with eternal darkness?
Of course The Company would have to use this trademark as well. But Siva consoled himself as he sought the support of the people who will not let him down.
“Don’t worry, Master, black is fashion!”
CRACK!
“Ah… ummm… it-it’s alright. I-It’s black, after all.”
CRAAAAACCKKK…..!!
“Should I wear black thongs when I dance from now on?”
“….!!”
“Rex, I’m okay with anything as long as it’s you.”
****HEALED****
It was only Scion who gave him a smile that was both consoling and supportive. Cassiopeia, Agatha, and Niobe’s words were just a little painful and teasing to the ear to hear.
Siva could only sigh as he gave up on trying to push his ideals on them.
He just wanted them to know, “The Acolytes are known to have been part of my divisional branch of The Company so I can’t make them part of the guardian group that will be sticking around the Grand Patriarch during screen times. That said, I will be assigning a few people that will be chosen to show their disguised faces along with him.”
With this, a picture was gradually being drawn into their minds about the direction that Siva wanted his organization to go to.
Yes, it was true that he did made The Company from whim just to escape a certain situation in the Battle City but as one thing led to another, now, just as he made a mess, he was left with no other choice but to have create a card that he can use to intimidate his future assassinators.
It was a good thing that he was lucky to have at least found, or taken (or plundered that shop) the capsule that contained Akhenaton.
Of all the deeds that he’d done that saved his ass, owning the Akhenaton Warship had provided him more than just ‘help’ but actually a lifeline.
And now, the ‘spirit’ that resides in this warship is a part of his entourage and what more, it was like an advanced AI with an advanced capability and a very loyal personality that he can use to manage all menial tasks in regards to his earnings.
Since this is the case, one reason why he made a gamble to take all those things away with Billion’s word is because he wanted to exploit the Fortress Function of the mobile prison.
Wouldn’t it be a sin if he doesn’t take Billion’s offer down to its last letter?
Modesty?
Decency?
Political courtesy?
Bah! When the Kidian Government stole a silent island in the West Philip Sea, did they speak any propriety or perhaps showed decency and regard to any modesty towards the Philip Country?
Of course they didn’t.
Because this is how the world works! Those who can do things will do things freely and while those who can’t will have to grit their teeth and endure the pain and humiliation of being weak.
After all, the one with the harder fist will be the one to laugh loudly at the end of everything.
Siva have had his own share of things to endure and of them all, if he knew that taking those islands and taking Billion up to his offer will take him closer to his goals, then he’d not show any kind of hesitation and take it all proudly.
In the end, Billion was the one who offered it.
With the addition of Akhenaton being the overall manager of Kladis’ gift, the Apus Epirus, Siva was at least given enough leeway to ponder on things and fall on to this decision to officially create The Company as a legitimate name of his organization.
But the thing is… he was actually planning to make it as a secret organization where the leaders are fakes and the members are the true leaders.
“I wouldn’t even dare to think about this idea if it weren’t for these people in this room right now.”
Volt and his crew, famous adventurers for hire…
Thorn and the Tower of Sol Guild, defenders and secret police that protects the world of Terroa, preventing evil terrorist groups to use Inventions as real-world weapons of mass destruction…
The envoys and mages of the Circle of Magi…
Kathleen Brew and her showbiz background…
FlowerLord and her fame as a member of The Illuminati Circle of Elites…
Heller, the famous Archmage of The North…
Coralline, the Little Feisty Witch…
The Premiere Guilds of Battle City Warjillis silently watching the scene unfold in a corner, along with the now overly famous Acolytes…
“All these people added together in a single group could scare other 2nd-rate Guilds out there. They may not be able to scare the 1st-rate societies like The Legion or The Wall, but they can hold their own grounds if they were to be compared.”
Siva was utterly delighted to have noticed this possibility in the spur of the moment.
Perhaps it was part of his enhanced memory and mental processes ever since the synchronization, but Siva’s thinking did indeed changed in a deep and profoundly large fundamental level.
There are nigh-countless possibilities when he try to calculate the thing he could do with these people.
Yes, items are great and they could do many great things, but people are better because items can’t think and adapt to situation and learn, while people will and they learn how to adapt… they learn how to evolve!
“These guys are already frightening by themselves but—”
But if he adds himself and his Akhenaton Warship in that equation……
“Now that is a different story.”
Thinking about this, in these small moments that he remained silent, a smile beamed widely on his lips where only a few select people could discern the meaning to.
After all, the [image] of Siva and The Company to the world is that of a large secret organization that a monstrous existence like Siva was just a mere divisional Branch Leader.
Anyone with a brain would be able to connect the dots together to create the picture of a very large and very strong secretive organization.
Normal players are after fame and glory but all this while, these ‘strong’ individuals of The Company had not shown themselves even once.
Siva was the first to have announced his affiliation with said organization and he did it with might and wanton oppressive abandon that deterred even a Kladis whose fame was known throughout Terroa.
This shows that they are made up of people who take gaming very seriously; people who, perhaps, play the game as a way of living… professionally.
And its face, right now, has just been decided.
RedMetal was going to be its Grand Patriarch!
It was the reason why Siva emphasized that this organization’s goal was purely centered at money.
