Chapter 285: Wear It
================================
“Check damages! Report it to me immediately!”
Billion was screaming and he was fuming as he gave orders after orders on his subordinates.
“God damn it. Why do I have to go through all of these processes before being able to contact him at this time?! He’s not even replying to my emails!”
Billion was grumbling while moving his panels to make a call towards Siva.
Although it was easy for Siva to contact Billion in the network they have created, they have never actually exchange personal contact information.
Thus, Billion was going through so much trouble to make a call that would connect him to Siva.
“Why did I even allow him through my secretary and divert it directly to my number?!”
Because of the favor Siva did to his city, he had no choice but to give a way to Siva to contact him directly through his secretary. But to make a call directly to Siva… he found out too late that aside from emails, Siva doesn’t have any established network of connection.
In short, he was unreachable.
“Gundamn it!!!”
Thus, Billion was fuming in rage at this moment since he really wanted to complain to him as to why he had to plunder him a large piece of land.
Although he only saw the shadow of the view from below, he was still able to clearly piece a few facts saying that what Siva took from the city was not just mere ‘facility’ but actually a large piece of land that contained more.
“So that’s why he kept asking me about that.”
Billion was looking at the last email Siva sent to him regarding his almost incessant inquiry about it being alright to take just ‘any facility’ from the city.
Billion knew what happened in Warjillis and that is what he based his answer to, being ‘any facility’ in the same size as the ones taken away from the Battle City.
And yet, contrary to expectations, Siva actually took a large piece of land akin to almost a quarter of Alexandria.
“That sonavabitch! He just spammed me!”
Receiving a prompt on his player panel, an email notification reply was received on his inbox indicating that his account had been blacklisted because of spamming.
After a few minutes, as if to add oil to his burning house, one of his assistants approached from behind and sent him the report that crumbled all other areas in his face that hasn’t been frowning.
“City Lord. A total of 31km-large area has been dug from the City’s entire region. Half of the entire Hangar Bay District with a total of four First-Grade and two 2nd-grade Hangar Facilities has been taken. Then half of the Production District has been taken away as well, with one Weapons Shop, Items Shop, Potions Store, and… a-and… (gulp)…. and a d-district warehouse in it. The entire fountain square in the eastern quadrant and the Monster Hunter Office near it was also taken away, on top of the Atmospheric Hydro-Distillation Facility in the northern quadrant being taken away as well. Three other warehouse and production facilities are also taken away, sir.”
With every ‘stolen’ word spoken by the assistant, Billion’s face crumbled from frowning to pale, to a devil whose about to lose his sanity from extreme constipation.
If there was a hole, he’d jump right on it and then pour in the soil himself to avoid blame on it all.
What’s he supposed to tell The Union about these missing pieces of lands?
Should he say, “Oh, I agreed with Siva. Here’s the proof”?
Of course he can’t.
No matter how much explanation he does to clear his name on this, Siva could just show his ‘Yes’ email to the world and Billion would immediately become the stupid villain.
Of course, this was also a clear thievery… using legal means and the loophole on their agreement.
It’s like Siva had just told the world that Mount Everest is a High School girl, with Billion’s reply email to prove it.
Billion was losing his mind thinking of ways on how to (already?!) get away from the blame in this situation.
What can he do?
It already happened.
He can’t just go back on his word on Siva since he would only attract more aggro on his direction. He also can’t try to approach this to The Union while asking for their mercy since it would only impact his position as the City Lord, and as well as his job being risked on the line.
No matter the angle, this all came from him. He was the one who agreed with Siva and did not go into details as to ‘how large’ is the allowed land area to be taken away.
“Just what’s he trying to use those pieces of land for?”
While he asked himself this question, he couldn’t help looking at the surroundings. By now, he was already in the eastern quadrant, in the area where the fountain square was supposed to be.
Billion flew here like a wind as soon as he got the video call from his subordinates.
An atmospheric-gathering water plant, production facilities, warehouses with who knows how many monster materials still being there, hangar bays, and then those shops…
“Is he trying to build a city?”
As he asked this question, Billion looked at the far southern horizon. Although he could only slightly eye in the darkness that floating giant golden idol, he thought just then that perhaps it wasn’t that far away from the truth.
Akhenaton has the ability to make islands float and those pieces of lands were taken not by luck but by specific choice by the one who owned it.
“By the Gods…. is he really going to build a city?”
Billion pondered if he’s going to report Siva for stealing these island facilities or if he’s going to keep this insult in and deal it personally himself.
Adding the Apus Epirus, the sword island, and the hang——
“—wait.” Billion turned around to that assistant. “I want you to tell me, is there an extra piece of land in the city or in the south?”
The source of this question was the fact that the floating islands around Akhenaton have at least one Hangar Bay island in it.
Siva had just taken FOUR 1st-grade Hangar Bay Facility and just one of these facilities are already comparable to two 2nd-grade sized facilities. Also, the most important factor about these 1st-grade facilities is the fact that they are equipped with Ship-Production Capability.
“Please… please… don’t tell me….”
Billion had just, in consideration of NOT wanting to go to war against an insult, given away four Mega-crates of Black-Ironwood Alloy. These alloys are the best materials for constructing hull bodies for warships and once completed, albeit heavy, a warship will have high-grade Tier-4 defensive hulls.
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
It may not be ideal for Lambda-class warships for it will only offset its speed-focused design but this kind of defensive hull were the best settings for Garuda-class and Knight-class warships.
“….please, don’t tell me he’s really going to build an entire warship?”
Since the War of two Powers, everyone knew that Siva ‘The Destroyer’ had invented a very strong weapon that could summon lightning and enables him to use an instantaneous, nigh-teleportation, movement speed.
No one doubts this guy’s engineering sense.
His ideas are all unique and there’re only few that could actually match his inguinity.
After a few moments, the assistant told him. “Yes sir, there is. It seems it was an island… it was just outside the southern wall, sir.”
“I knew it.” Billion didn’t know whether he’s going to laugh or cry. He could only utter dejectedly, “I knew it…. This guy is just the worst. The worst!”
What is that island? Compensation?
What a bunch of BS!!!
And what’s the point of going after Siva now that he had already taken his ‘compensation’? Though he did leave behind his change, it only makes this City Lord feel more dejected.
Siva had clearly taken a large step on his face.
Billion remained silent and he couldn’t even pull up any kinds of thoughts as he felt mentally tired just trying to think of ways on how to direct the blame from The Union.
Seeing the City Lord like this, the assistant said to him after summoning courage, “Sir, why don’t we just pretend that it was The Legion’s second round of attack?”
LIGHT………………BULB!!!
Billion looked up and saw the beaming thumbs up gesture of the assistant and he almost hugged the man and kissed him right there and then.
“You’re a genius!” He said after clutching the man’s shoulders.
The man scratched his nose and coughed. “I only require a slight increase in salary, sir.”
“Granted.”
“Huh? Ah… errr…. 10%?”
“Even 50%! Granted!”
“YOU’RE GOD!!!”
“Don’t waste time there. Order the men. Assemble a team to pretend to be The Legion and make sure that not one of them will be hurt and only make it look like we are capturing them alive. We will present the real Legionnaires as the ones who attacked this time around to The Union. This is an absolute secret, do you hear me?”
“YES! Yes, sir!”
“Now move it.”
“I shall toil right away!”
Now that there was an escape goat, Billion could only glare hatefully at Akhenaton from far away.
What he is thinking the least is the brewing war between the Blue Card Legion and The Union.
Ultimately, his job is the only thing he cares about.

“Achoo…” (Siva)
“I would normally say bless you but I won’t.” (Volt)
“Where is the lightning when you need them?” (Thorn)
“Eeeehh?!!! I-I-Isn’t that bad, Siva?” (Agatha)
“““Bully (-.-).””” (Coralline / Hawkeye)
“E-E-Ehem… EHEM! Ahurrrmmmm…” (D’Catch)
“Wow. Just how deep are you trying to dig down there eh, mustache?” (Samara)
“It’s alright. You didn’t do anything wrong.” (Scion)
“Mandy, I really admire how your brain cells work right at this moment —and please stop sticking close to him! You’ll be infected!” (FlowerLord)
“Hm! Mn! I approve of this plundering!” (Pitou)
“And I say your senses are twisted, thief.” (Otus)
“…………*Yaaawwwwwnnnnn*………….” (Heller)
“We’re so dead. We’re so very, very dead. The Union is going to chase us!” (RedMetal)
“Master is really cool! If you want additional reward, I’ll leave the lock open later on. So—” (…)
“Aaaahh… I wish I could sit and dance on his lap.”
“Niobe, snap out of it already!” (Diyers)
“Fufufufu! Love should be this pure.” (Eleanor)
“…..” (Loni and the Archangel Crew)
“**face palm**” (Female Escorts)
“Man I wish I was down there to capture the whole spectacle of it.” (Kathleen Brew)
It was a large group and it was also a mystery as to how they were all able to fit in with still a lot of space left in this Bachelor’s Meeting Room.
Siva had just teleported to this place and felt his nose itching.
He really wanted to have a serious atmosphere when he talks about the subject of this meeting. But just like how he had initially felt, the room’s very atmosphere itself takes away that very feeling no matter how serious the subject is.
As soon as he would appeared he just had to greet them with a sneeze. In fact, how was it even possible for a player avatar to sneeze?
It was a matter Loni had to mentally jot down on her list of things weird about Siva.
Still, when Siva recovered the next moment, the only ones who felt his aim were Cassiopeia and Niobe…. the two stuck up ones on his images.
To dismiss the warm atmosphere, he clapped his hands and pulled their attention with the announcement.
“I won’t make it long since I’m not good with words so let me just say this straight. I am going to establish a Guild and its name is plainly just The Company. I would like to ask if who among you all are willing to join me.”
“….”
“…….”
“…………”
“Well now, that’s a warm greeting.” T^T
It was here that The Company had been—
—or not.
“I thought The Company was just a whimsical name brought up in the spur of a moment?” (Otus)
CHAK!
“We already told him that.” (Thorn)
“More like a name made to escape the scene.” (FlowerLord)
“He knows it.” (Volt)
KACHAK!!!
More than a warm welcome, it was a complete and utter beating. He already made the decision and a gamble to antagonize Billion under a very careful planning process that took him eight hours to pull.
His heart was pierced with every word against his idea that they say but he endured because he was aware that he needed it.
In fact, there is someone here that he needed to play an important role to.
“RedMetal.” Siva called and all eyes focused on that red-haired mahwak guy wearing black leather sleeveless jacket.
It was hard to imagine that this guy is actually a guild leader himself and takes care of a total of 30+ individuals from the Atlas and Gonn Races.
All his men were brute and large build and though they were intimidating figures in the outside, all of them were friendly and easy to get along with.
In fact, Coralline had some kind of magic that allows her to order these men around like her underlings. RedMetal himself was one of them.
“Boss, you know I don’t like being in the limelight.”
“Come here.”
“Yes sir.”
Albeit in the middle of retreat in a corner(?), the guy with a skinny build from the Maven Race did what was told and came forward.
When he stood in front of everyone else, Siva bid a presentation gesture as he spoke about his plan to the audience.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you the Grand Patriarch of the Black Weaving Company, AKA, just The Company.”
“…”
“……..”
“………….”
“…………………”
“……………………….”
“………………………………..’
“What?”
If there was a nuclear junkshop, RedMetal would have jumped there and then scrapped himself to pieces to never resurface again.
He was just a simple character with a simple and very humble background.
At first, he doesn’t have any friend in the game and although he was a poor guy already, he still couldn’t stay quiet when encountering individuals who’re bullied and robbed in The North. He took them in and built a Guild made up of losers who could only survive thanks for barely scraping by and struggling to live on in The North.
Who would’ve thought that he’d be chosen in the selection of the acolytes of the Church of Donar?
And now… after all that had happened, he was suddenly going to be the Grand Patriarch of a secret Guild that doesn’t even exist?
He could feel his mouth trembling as he clutched at Siva’s legs and begged him to say he was just joking.
“Boss! BOSS!!! I don’t want to be on the spotlight because it’s too bright! IT’S TO BRIGHT!!! Take it back! I just want to be your follower! I would even lick your boots for you but not the spotlight role, please!”
Seeing his pathetic display of humility, instead of taking his side, the rest of the people, aside from Eleanor’s group who doesn’t dare care about Siva’s business and just enjoyed the tea that Akhenaton had served, all thought that perhaps RedMetal’s subservient attitude will really pull off what job Siva has for him.
“Get off me!”
“Boss, I beg you!”
“Shut up.”
“Yes sir.”
“Listen, I trust your character that’s why I chose you back then. This time around, you will be the face of The Company and your only job is to act like an uncaring and indifferent person. Your only role is to be as sour as a grape and as strict as a mother when dealing with business. The Company is an organization that purely deals with money and its actions revolve around money. We produce weapons and armors and sell them but we do not support any faction, and is a faction all on our own. We also do not meddle in any affair and is as neutral as the space in your eyebrows. I will be your sword and my actions are dictated by you; where I point my sword, you give the order and command. All you have to do… is face the camera and speak the words I want you to say. Do you understand?”
“…”
“Do. You. Understand.”
“Y-Y-Yes. YES!!! I understand! As clear as ice!”
“Shut up.”
“Yes sir.”
“Now… Scion…”
“Eh? Me?”
When called, Scion looked at FlowerLord who scowled at Siva but still walked closer towards him.
Siva held her hand and said, “Your task is to be safe as the right hand adviser of RedMetal. Cast a cloak for me right now, please.”
Siva was wearing his white mask and Gunslinger outfit with his white cloak’s hood pulled down, revealing the black smoke skin on his neck.
Although his bearing would have been a nice match to his princely way of speaking, his black smoke skin curse offsets everything and instead makes him look like a devil trying to bewitch the beauty into submitting to his devilish charms.
But that’s not the most surprising part. The most shocking part is the fact that the beauty actually blushed when Siva held her hand and nodded in full obedience with nothing held back.
“You’re hopeless…” FlowerLord grumbled.
After being asked, a black cloak materialized in the air and without the effects of The Orb to give it strength and bones, this black ‘reaper’ is but the shell of Erebus….. a protective armor that is as soft as cloth but is as hard as Black Element.
Siva pointed at the floating cloak with a black hand and then ordered RedMetal, “Wear it.”
“Eh? What?” Not only him but everyone else is surprised by this command.
“I said wear it.”
