Chapter 464: The Great Kyle

================================

A suffocating aura erupted from the club-man as he pulled the club like a sword and pointed it at the man in the sky.

“Good. Good!! GOOD!!! You angered the Great Kyle and then you order him to shut up… Good! I really want to see the power you have for stopping the Pope’s plans when in a critical time like this.”

The man lowered his body and then jumped. It’s a ridiculous notion seeing that Siva was actually 100+ meters high in the ground but he did and in but a second, he was already in front of him, the shadow of his club half-way into Siva’s face.

“—FUCK!!”

Siva vanished and the club passed through the place where he was at. Siva then appeared 55m away from the club-man.

Of course, the fact that he can blink means that he temporarily hid one of the three pillars.

And yet, even though he had escaped the direct assault of the club-man, the resulting storm of wind from his strike still reached him and sent him reeling in midair like a kite without a string.

Siva had to blink again three times just to escape the wind storm.

“Spatial Blink?” the club-man hung in midair and glanced over the-just-appearing Siva. “There are no Mana fluctuations around you. I can even smell the scent of that newly ascended Immortal within you. Are you his disciple?”

Club-man Kyle’s words echoed in the atmosphere with a mysterious undulation. He was too far away but his words came to Siva as if they were just in front of each other.

“DISCIPLE?! Fuck your stupidity. I’d rather die than bow my head to that mangy old king!”

If Gabriel heard him —which he possibly did— he would have raged on for being called mangy, old, and even demoted into a king.

But the club-man seemed to have been incensed from Siva’s words as well from being called stupid so his Mana erupted from his body like a tidal wave of power in reaction to his emotion.

“Stupid? YOU DARED TO CALL ME STUPID? I am not stupid! I can write, read, I can also count, and I can follow orders! You bastards are the stupid ones! YOU KEEP CALLING THE GREAT KYLE STUPID?!!! I WILL MAKE YOU STUPID WITH MY SWORD! AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!”

A deep yellow curtain flashed like a globe of ball from club-man Kyle and from his words alone, it was already enough just how much the Dragon Clan had looked down upon him before his switch of alliances.

—stupid! That ain’t even a sword!

His words and reaction almost made Siva laugh but the power “Kyle” exuded wasn’t a joke to even be laughing at.

That curtain of yellow light resonated with a pure destructive intent —resonance!

The realization shocked Siva.

Even more so, the pressure made him want to go as far away as possible even if he was at least 200 meters away from this Bloody Church Elder.

Roaring in anger, Kyle took a step towards Siva. A loud explosion occurred. Kyle left a circular ring of compressed air from where he pierced through the wind barrier. Kyle breached the gap between the two of them in an instant, his club already on its way for the kill.

Siva cursed at his mind. He didn’t even have time to get angry at Cortana’s untimely ‘bad’ time to joke with him.

He didn’t hesitate to release his [Killing Zone] and use one of the two Mini Realms that carried Electra’s Lightning Bolt directly at club-man Kyle.

Despite the crushing force and speed of his strike, Siva was still faster by a fracture of a second and spatial awareness against him.

He took a step aside and vanished, appearing behind Kyle where he stretched out a hand to release the “Lightning Bolt” at point blank range to Kyle’s spine.

A crackle of lightning erupted followed by a bright light, blinding everything, and it was followed by an ear-deafening and skin-trembling clap of thunder that rattled the air around them.

Kyle was hit zero at his back and his bloody robe was burnt as he was blasted off with a smoke that tailed off his body like a meteorite.

He smashed on the ground in the middle of the Acolyte forces in the west gates and his nine followers all froze at the sight of that quick end to their leader.

“““ELDER!!!”””

They screamed and flew off towards the crater where there was smoke and debris still falling at the scene around the impact site.

Siva heaved and panted, scared, delighted, and also cursing within. He had just wasted one of the only two Lightning Realms he had in him.

“Electra, how long until you get to Anazon?”

{I’m still around three days away.}

“Have you been to Maria before?”

{No. I can’t even get out of the seal in the forest.}

Siva’s heart lurched with trepidation.

{Is there something wrong?}

“Yes. Plenty. Just hurry as much as you can.”

{Hai!}

The reason he asked is because at his vision, it was still clear that club-man Kyle was still alive and still breathing.

It was a sneak attack but he doubted it will work a second time now that Kyle knew he was able to blast him with a Lightning Bolt of the Vajra’s Crown Princess’ level.

But this result shocked Siva still.

Electra may still be young and yet had to develop, but she was at least at the level of a Chaos God… and that just now is her full-powered attack.

But nevertheless, her full-powered strike was not strong enough to kill the enemy in front of him in a single attack.

“Placing another Lightning Bolt will be difficult.”

Just as the word escaped his lips, there came an agonized howl that also carried with it the rage of its owner.

“HOW DARE YOU HURT THE GREAT KYLE!!!”

BOOM!

The crater exploded and the Acolytes around the crater flew and stumbled back, Kyle —a large burly fellow with a childish face and lightly-tanned skin— charged out towards him with his fist. The club he had was broken by that Lightning Bolt earlier.

His body was protected by that yellow curtain of light —his Dragon Domain, it would seem— and it was the reason why he was still alive despite a direct hit from the attack earlier.

A punch came straight at Siva from below.

As if it was dragging the fabrics of space with it, the punch looked so large at Siva’s vision that it bent his view and only had that fist in his sight.

Kyle was more than 2m tall and had a large body frame despite his simplistic childish face —or it may just be his expression— who knows, there was a large difference with Terrans and Dragons when talking about how their appearance exacts their original ages, but that fist sent a message to Siva’s mind that Kyle wasn’t someone to be looked down upon no matter what.

Siva didn’t hesitate and blinked away. Now that he had hidden away the pillars, his only fear was on how there would be unavoidable uninvited guests that’ll be visiting from every direction to mess his business in this city.

—and NOT to his surprise, he learned just how right he actually was.

BOOM!

–BOOOM!!

–—BOOOOM!!!

As soon as his thought wandered on that very direction, one after another, muffled explosions in the air resounded, the wind splitting from within its folds as warships from every large organizations of the game hyper-jumped their way in every inch of the airspace of Maria.

Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent. Report sightings.

—just in time that Siva had dodged one attack.

Kyle’s [Fist Art] made a Mana Resonance that the space-folding punch had so much power it hit the warship 500m away behind Siva. But although the warship didn’t break or explode, it still tilted slightly off station and left a small dent on its metallic hide.

Siva saw this and he gasped at the power behind that attack.

One of the warships that appeared in Maria was a pure white Warship in the same appearance as the TOS’ Guild’s [Archangel].

And not only them; individuals also came in great droves that surprised not only the Asgardians, but also the Acolytes.

Where the Asgardians were only holding their own in a defensive stance against the seemingly endless number of the Acolyte Horde, now, the arrival of these individuals heralded a new opening in this chaotic melee.

“More infidels have come!”

It was unknown who broke the ice but it was an undoubted member of the Acolyte faction.

Spells cast and swords drawn, clashes erupted as the fight in the air gathered all present’s eyes.

Seeming to not notice the warships, Kyle’s stance shifted and he delivered another punch right at the location Siva had appeared to.

The second punch that came was dodged, barely, as Siva was blown off like a meteor, his body in the shape of a crescent moon on its earliest stage.

A loud explosion erupted in midair, parting every dust cloud particle, the wind, and even the radar scanners of all the newly arrived warships all made a flicker —the attack was strong enough to make it so that everything in its wake was decimated.

Kyle dived down, not minding anything else. He followed Siva’s trajectory as he took another step and another, and another, his right fist at the cusp to meet Siva’s face.

Siva, injured, tired, and exhausted, looked at the man and all sense of disdain vanished, replaced by dread and anger.

—anger at the fact that the situation was now far from the things he wanted to be under his control.

Ten meters from the ground, Siva was at Kyle’s striking pace; the yellow aura-clad fist meant for his face descended with its accompanying storm.

At the last instant, Siva twisted clockwise, made a grab, pulled, and then made a palm strike at Kyle straight at his own face.

The act and movement became possible only with the help of the exoskeleton clothes on his body.

Space rippled and at that moment, a small bullet passed through the 4inch distance between Siva’s palm and Kyle’s face.

Kyle’s eyes never left Siva’s and the midst of this act, everything seemed to go slow.

“WEAK!” Kyle roared and a globe of yellow aura erupted from him, blasting everything outside in a 5m radius, including Siva and Dáinsleifs bullet.

Siva was saved the crushing fall but he was still blasted off horizontally towards a tall building and pierced thru on four more walls before stopping at the fifth on the building’s 28th floor.

Kyle didn’t give him any opening and charged thru at the umpteenth time, every step he took in midair created tremors and vibrations that rattled every eyes witnessing, leaving a tunnel of air, ruins of him breaking the wind barrier.

This… to everyone witnessing…… was a battle no normal player was capable of stopping and even participating in.

“WEAK!” Kyle roared again, his fist already cocked.

BOOM!!!

He gave another punch and the houses and all the buildings between him and Siva broke into pebbles and debris as if blasted by a warship’s cannon.

They didn’t even amount as obstacles as Kyle just blew them all away.

Siva was at the center of the blast. He was again smashed deeper on his self-made crater.

He looked mangled when he spat a vial of potion from the broken lower part of his faceless mask.

Siva then pulled all his attention into escaping, blinking at least five times until he was a significant distance away from the great Kyle in midair.

“You hurt the great Kyle and YOU ARE THIS WEAK?!! Pathetic! PATHETIC! It’s an insult to this great Kyle-sama!! AAAAAAHHHH!!!”

BOOM!!

His fist was covered with the yellow aura and he punched at Siva’s direction, ripples came in the fabrics of space and expanded; one giant ripple in space after another, forming into a tidal wave of power that came at Siva, sealing even his ability to blink away at this moment.

In his mind, Kyle’s words replayed over and over like an insulting melody.

Weak.

He was utterly and pathetically so.

Siva recalled his glory days as an Immortal. Fear and respect was attached on his name that even the Zodiac Sisters and Vasuki of the Eight Naga Serpents —progenitor of the Dragon Kings— all viewed him as their equal, with the latter even deciding to follow him as a pet.

And yet now, he was being called weak… SHIT!!

As much as he hated to admit it, he was indeed a weak existence right now.

Compared to the Great Kyle, a full-fledged adult Land-element Dragon Tribe of the Divine Dragon Beast Race, he was indeed nothing.

Perhaps that strike he landed earlier was nothing more than luck for taking him by surprise.

But even then... I won’t accept it. I won’t fall here and I will definitely bring you down!

Siva can’t escape here and so going all-out with his full arsenal and tactical moves was his only hope to surviving this clash.

It’s already been two hours since he last used it and it only takes fifteen minutes to charge one shot so he already had two of them at the ready.

“Fuck you, you stupid fuck!” Siva cursed with so much crispiness as he looked up and stared at Kyle head on.

Siva stretched a hand and two ripples of space came behind him, followed by two blindingly bright lights and an explosion of pure destructive power that went straight towards Kyle at sub-light speeds.

B-BOOM!!!

Siva’s two Longhorn Cannons fired off without as much as any kind of warning.

“I’m not scared of you!”

Siva was crazily angry right now. All reasons gone, no holding back, it was just him and his temper!

Kyle was only a few hundred meters away from him and the Killing Zone was still in effect.

He didn’t have time to dodge and only crossed his arms to protect himself, his yellow aura converging to shield him from harm.

The two bright pillars of lights shattered his attack and Kyle was blown diagonally higher, hitting an aerially parked Warship that just so happens to be at the trajectory of the blast.

And to everyone’s surprise, the pillars of light that hit Kyle were scattered like water hitting into rock.

BANG!!

Kyle left a dent at the warship’s hull. The man’s vision was in circles. Kyle was still blinded by Siva’s surprise attack.

“Urgh… you miserable…”

He felt pain on his arms. They were numbed. But he didn’t get a chance to focus his bearings as he felt danger right at this moment from his flank.

“DON’T BE COCKY WITH ME, WEAK PUNK!!!”

Siva appeared with a blink, the War God Axe at the last crux of an attack at his skull.

Kyle slapped the axe’s blade sideways and then turned to grab Siva but his image vanished at the next instant, appearing 15 meters away from him just at the angle that Kyle’s right flank was open for a deadly strike.

Space rippled again and this time, it wasn’t a ray of light but a large Artillery Cannon shell that escaped its opening.

It was the first of his last four shells.

From the moment he vanished from the moment Siva attacked, not even a full second passed. He saw the artillery shell fly towards him, his eyes going wide as he felt the hit at that point blank range.

It wasn’t a killing blow, given his build and his own bloodline as a Saipan —nickname for the Land Dragons— but it was still painful. Like a liver blow of a pro-boxer that upturned his innards and sent his mind rolling in agony, Kyle was rocked to the bottom of his soul.

There was impact followed by an explosion.

Siva wasn’t finished yet and crazily threw himself into the fire, disregarding the force of the impact and rolled diagonally clockwise with the War God Axe, hitting Kyle on his chest.

Fast!

Siva determined that this was the key in fighting fairly, and perhaps winning, against the Great Kyle.

The attacks weren’t life threatening but they’re still painful and it’s such an insult that this puny Terran was playing with blinking here and there with him.

Kyle roared to forcefully collect himself, grabbing the metal plates around him and then pulling hard, throwing the piece at the crazy Terran.

“I AM THE GREAT KYLE!!!”

He roared. Siva flicked the metal plate and gave him his crisp insult.

“Fuck you, you stupid fuck!”

“AAAAAAHHHH!!!”

Kyle really hated being called stupid. He roared and pulled more metal plates, peeling the ‘skin’ of the warship who became the stage of the two’s all-out battle of curses.

Space rippled and Siva’s fifty blades flew in all directions, blocking and parrying the metal plates from the warship’s own hull.

“HOW DARE YOU!!!”

“HOW DARE YOU!!!”

Siva and Kyle roared at the same time.

“I’M NOT STUPID!!!”

“I’M NOT WEAK!!!”

Siva’s body was suddenly covered in a sparkling blue armor, he charged straight at Kyle and his War God Axe broke into parts before he reach his hand and grabbed the Godhammer, twisting midflight —BANG!!

Kyle was hit again from his right flank and he was like a plow, ploughing the side of the poor warship while screaming at the pain of another liver blow.

The pain actually brought him his clarity and he glared at the incoming Siva, a fist punched out, creating a hole at the side of the hull after a loud ear-deafening explosion.

Surprisingly, Siva was like a ghost, he dodged at his right and an after-image received the brunt of the waving attack with the silhouette of the Blue Falcon Armor leaving an impression on Kyle as it passed him.

He felt a weak punch on his gut as Siva’s fist met his torso. There was only a slight thud and close to tapping rather pain that came into Kyle’s mind.

This made Kyle angrier but before he could put Siva into his grasp, that’s when he felt the pain.

It was a sharp, piercing kind of pain.

INJURED! I was injured?!!

“You…!!”

Before Kyle could even check how he received a wound, he heard the sounds of tumbling rocks around him.

He looked over and saw the hundreds of Plasma Smoke Screen Grenades along with the rest of Siva’s stash of Lightning Flash Bombs scattered all around them.

It didn’t scare Kyle and only focused on defense as he gathered his Mana.

Blue smoke exploded, covering an immediate 150m area, wrapping much of the portside of this warship, and blocked all prying eyes at the intense battle at the site.

CRACKLE!!!

~BOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

A loud, earsplitting explosion rocked the warship in the next instant and it tilted askew, smoke coming from its hull with the people screaming.

Inside, Kyle tumbled and rolled, he was blasted off deeper in the warship’s hull and went through three walls before stopping at the fourth with a light groan.

He lifted his head and Saw Siva, the Godhammer was already on his head.

BOOM!!

[Hammer Blast]

Kyle was blasted off to the floor, the impact hit him directly at his head.

Siva’s speed was just impossible. For a power-type like Kyle, this kind of speed and agility was his very weakness right in the flesh.

He pierced through four floors before stopping seeing Siva falling into a dive with the Lancet Imperious at his right hand.

“AAAAAHHH!!!”

Kyle focused his Mana, erupting into another nova of a yellow coloured globe.

It parted the metal walls and railings around him, it destroyed the pillars and also destroyed bulwarks in engine room with people still in the midst of their craziest running to escape for their lives.

The spear was parried but Siva didn’t stop. He put his might to balance himself midair then twisted in a clockwise motion before vanishing —appearing next right at Kyle’s left flank where Siva’s twisting motion put the lance’s blade to his arm and chest.

Kyle was blasted back again, pain at his muscle and his chest. There was even an injury there on his chest that kept on bleeding, putting a different kind of pain on his viscera.

—his first real injury from Siva’s earlier attack.

But his defenses were his assets and he looked at Siva with renewed hate in his eyes.

“How dare you… hurt...... the great MEEEEEE!!!”

Kyle hit a wall and passed through it, the smoke of one of the engines he just passed through erupted in a flare of orange, red, yellow and grey.

At the nest instant, he appeared again, eyes red in burning rage, his fist cocked, he punched out at Siva.

—but there was another afterimage.

“I’M NOT STUPID!”

Kyle had seen this move many times now so he knew where Siva might come next so he was ready for him. He reached out, grabbing on his right, just as Siva appeared in a ripple in space, catching him at his right leg.

“Gotcha!”
