Chapter 531: License to Kill
================================
Bright flashes of lights, grunts, cries of pain, and a lot of curses later…
…a small area that’s hardly called a battlefield had now regained its former silence.
Siva’s battle-level when calculating everything he could throw at an enemy, is at full Immortal-level.
Mortals and Quasi-Immortals cannot do him harm.
The entire battle didn’t last that long. Although the stats difference between them wasn’t large, there was still Siva’s Killing Zone + (+33% defense from attacks + 100% damage to enemies) received after the [Blood Verse] took effect.
In the end, the Paladin was held in the neck while the rest of the contingent from the Theocracy was knocked out or locked by Siva’s spatial control and the help of the NEO-BMA parts that he deployed a minute ago. Siva may not do much damage against them, but his abilities alone proved that he could suppress any Quasi-Immortal and below without as much sweat being made.
While they floated two meters in the air, the entire scene was just too majestic especially when Haven Dust recalled the one-sided fight that almost made his knees lose its strength.
“How can he be this… this strong…” his body was shaking all over. He saw the light of a mysterious magic that the Paladin employed to suppress Siva but not only did it affect him minimally, the entire fight itself didn’t even last that long before all the paladin were suppressed.
Two entire minutes; that’s how long Siva took until he held the Theocracy’s Paladin in the neck.
He saw Siva’s 2m shadowy silhouette slash at the Paladins after his attack and in fact, just those few flying blades alone, they were already enough for him to bring his enemies down to their knees.
Him, personally taking them down with his fists are mercy enough and yet they were still unable to hit Siva cleanly even once as the latter had this very bizarre footstep that seemed to let him blink here and there like UFO.
Seeing it all happen made Haven Dust panic.
His dreams and everything he’d envisioned of his bright future vanished into a puff of smoke while he watched Siva trample the Paladins one by one.
“How hypocritical, Bloody Church Elder, for you to be both a Paladin and a spy of a false god. So I wonder, then, if you were first a Paladin before you joined the Bloody Church, or were you not the Paladin of the Theocracy at all. But regardless, if you still insist on being a Paladin from the Divine Crown Theocracy, then all the more reason I have to trample your useless pride.”
The Paladin became livid. Whether it was because Siva looked down and called their [God] a false one or because he insulted the Theocracy, both of these reasons warranted him to throw a fit as he struggled in wrath while trying to punch Siva.
“H-How… dare…… you…!!”
He tried to roar in anger but Siva held him in the neck that minimizing the choking grip was already taking his all. But he ignored it all and still threw his punches that hit nothing but the solid defenses of his NEO-BMA. Yet he wasn’t the only person to be held helpless in front of Siva. His entire battalion was also futilely struggling against him.
Numbering a solid 3000 Grand Paladins, all of them were rendered helpless against Siva’s might.
Such a feat was just logically impossible. Yet Siva was just that strong that it shook the boundaries of their logic circuits. Oh how wrong would they be, that all of these were the effects of his Killing Zone + Blood Verse combined.
“How dare me? Good question. Unfortunately for you, you not only will be spending your time in the dungeons, you will also experience pain that will make you think death is such a blessing. Until you say everything you know, you will not be granted a moment of respite and will be tortured the whole day and night, healed, and then tortured again….”
“Y-You bastard…. You bastard….!!”
“All of you will pay severely for your betrayal.” Siva spoke coldly.
Then, a spatial opening appeared beside Siva and he threw the man into it, following that, the rest of the Bloody Church spies was absorbed in it as well while those innocent Paladins were helpless as they all listened and processed the revelations of what Siva said.
In the end, the ones left in there were the troops of the Theocracy and Haven Dust’s own battalion.
“And you…” when Siva’s gaze landed on Haven Dust’s direction, the man jolted in fright with the rest of his people backing off, isolating him. “You have a lot of nerve trying to play the two parties to fix your plan for you. You don’t know what fire you are playing at here, you sanamagan.”
Siva lifted his hand and space rippled around the Haven Dust President. Blades and tiny parts of the NEO-BMA flew and surrounded their entire group.
A few of them lifted the Haven Dust President up like a defenseless prisoner and brought him in front of Siva where he knelt and looked up as if he was looking at his God.
There was a moment of silence while the rest of the Haven Dust Crew trembled in astonishment.
“As punishment for your greed, I shall bestow the honor of you being my test subject.”
Such a reward was unwanted by even the craziest person alive on earth. Just who would want to be Siva’s test subject? Siva did not give the man any chance for a reply and put his hand on his face. A silvery liquid metal traveled thru his hand and into the man’s orifices, making the people watching the scene cringe in utter horror.
It shouldn’t be something painful, wouldn’t it?
They all thought… or wished…….. hoped.
Siva also wondered. This was the first time he was doing an experiment with a [Player].
In fact, as cruel as it may seem, he shuddered at the realization that he wasn’t even flinching at the mere notion of these thoughts coming from him.
He was crazily calm.
—ah, I really am not a normal teenager…
Siva, biologically, is just 19 years old this year, and to put his circumstances into the right perspective, he is indeed still the “other guy” who received the past memories of his life as a [God], not the real [God] of an era who reincarnated into a new body.
Spiritually, he was trillions upon trillions of years old. His mind should be strong, at least that’s what he also thought, but looking back at his life… his emotions are easily stirred and he easily gets angry.
This is one proof that he was indeed Rex Kingsley and not Siva who lived a life of killing and endless fighting in this Universe.
He knew that these thoughts of his had everything to do with the corruption he suffered from Mefisto but he also couldn’t help think of other facts that relates to the things he couldn’t explain. To give an example: now that he already knew the truth of it all, he couldn’t help but think of that time during the Ragnarok Era. He still couldn’t explain how a Scanned Human Personality-converted-AI could have done and corrupted his mind —him— a real person of the real world.
This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author's work.
If Mefisto’s and/or Lucifer’s corruption back then led him to becoming mentally unstable, then these recent events, albeit useful, only led him to explain 50% of the entire truth behind everything.
Before, he didn’t quite believe it, but after all the things he saw and discovered here in Terroa and most especially the things he saw and heard from the real world, the concept became progressively believable the more clues to this suspicion he got.
Especially when he heard that Eros had taken over Kladis —someone he knew wasn’t an NPC but is a real person in the real world.
The more he thought about it, the more he felt the sinister intent behind the [Project Salvation] that Margrave Bryn mentioned to him and Amanda.
If it could change him and Kladis, then there’s no telling it can’t change everybody else as well.
When he connects that to all of the possible ways and consequences his defeat would be if it does happen, Siva couldn’t help but shudder in fear.
Baron is his last family left. He doesn’t know any other relatives on their mother or father side and so he did his best at everything he do, with all of his planning and actions leading to the only thing he aspires for: Baron’s safety.
As soon as this conviction was recalled the morbid thoughts he just had become his new “justice”, a ground for his future actions, a reason to unleash the anger he was harboring inside, the license he need to get violent.
[Sir, mind scan’s a failure. Mental Stability failed at 14% from standard before collapsing.]
“I wouldn’t be surprised. He’s just a weakling, the same as all these guys.”
As he spoke, he turned to look at the people from the Haven Dust Company. Their president lay in his hand, quiet. Earlier, they saw him spasm as if he was having an epileptic attack along with a loud agonizing scream as if he was being cooked alive.
It looked painful and they cringe at the thought that Siva was capable of rendering a player to be as helpless as their Haven Dust President.
This is still a game, right? they all had the same thoughts running in their minds.
Is this game really that [hardcore] that that realistic convulsing attack was tolerated? Wouldn’t casual players and gamers be traumatized by the realistic graphics and sensation system then? Wouldn’t the younger aged player-base be eternally distressed for life when seeing something this brutal?
Wouldn’t that ultimately affect Panorama Corp.?
Unknowingly, while they asked themselves this one particular question, they were backing off as far from Siva as possible.
“Hmp. You are all my prisoners.”
After he spoke, Siva flipped his left palm and then the lot of them disappeared —or at least only the ones inside the remaining 7.5km Absolute Domain.
It was also at this time that Siva registered the loud noise coming from behind him.
When he looked over at that battlefield, the battle was already halfway done.
The bodies of the brave ones littered around the dragon while the dragon itself remained as if it was just having a chill as he killed his enemies with the slightest of movements and physical attacks.
As it didn’t have intelligent logic, its instincts only registered enemies and allies on a very straight-forward and crude manner.
Its only ally is its summoner while its enemies are those around it —including the Summoner’s allies as the betrayal and the treachery of savage beasts for the sake of survival were embedded on its DNA. It wouldn’t trust anybody else aside from itself and its summoner.
As such, those it registered as an enemy was just like Siva, a threat to its summoner. So when they all attacked, it’d retaliate. In the end, these players intended to attack and kill the True Dragon. They wouldn’t let anyone else get even an ounce of its plentiful dragon resources!
“They’ve already forgotten the confusion of being suddenly teleported outside of their warships. For me, it’s a good thing. The more they focus on the fight to survive, the longer time I had on my hands from their diversion aid.”
[I’ve confirmed an expanded draconic domain in the vicinity of Labrador, sir. Every time someone is about to escape its domain’s influence, he would attack and trample on that direction.]
“Then we can only use that opening as a weapon.”
After he spoke, Siva faced the direction of the True Dragon’s battlefield and fully observed the entirety of the issuing battle.
The lands has long since been uprooted and there was a large crater being made with each of the dragon’s savage strikes, eliminating over hundreds of people and pushing back hundreds more from the after winds.
“I’d probably be detected if I come closer to that location…”
[Probably sir since you’re its target.]
“But unless I get as close as 2km, the borrowed special Vajra Bolt from Electra wouldn’t have any effect on it. I also can’t let anyone see me using it as well, aside from the fact that I need to get it to at least stay still for five seconds. Right now, it’s still too early. I also need Amanda’s help if I want to restrain its attention and movements. Was I just too fast when dealing with Haven Dust’s group or these guys are just that good at staying alive?”
[Boss: you’ve eliminated the external threat earlier than Labrador could deal against this improvised diversion element. Besides, these guys also good at staying alive.]
Siva gave a nod at their internal exchange.
If he hadn’t thrown those guys at Labrador, the True Dragon would have found him sooner and be chased further. If that happened, he wouldn’t have been able to gather those warships and couldn’t have been able to deal with the Theocracy. Who would’ve thought that there was a Bloody Church spy amongst the Paladins that came from below?
In the end, this was still according to his plans and the results were something he could smile about.
He couldn’t throw those warships away. Although it was a plan that sprouted in the moment —just as majority of his other plans are— he still couldn’t be as complacent as to not capitalize on the opening.
“In short since we have already dealt with the rest of the obstacles, we just have to clean up the area with potential witnesses, right?”
[Yes sir. My analysis shows that we have at least 16,000 people lingering inside Absolute Domain, fighting against Labrador, and the ones outside is at least 12,000+ people.]
“Let’s erase them.” Siva coldly said and then gave a thought command, followed by the space around him rippling, releasing hordes of blades that flew at different directions to clean the garbage.
As he also needed “containers” for Mechromancer Project, he couldn’t just destroy them all so what he did was to end them the cleanest and the most efficient way possible; a hole in the chest.
A [Mini Realm] dedicated to recovering the victims’ bodies were also utilized to make sure that the True Dragon wouldn’t be able to crush them.
Siva watched it all happen, floating 2m above the sandy, quaking, unstable ground.
In and of itself, seeing a rampaging Dragon 4km large was a sight to behold.
Disregarding the damage, dragons were called the most magnificent creatures for a reason.
No matter their sub-species or their appearance, a [Dragon] would always have this majesty with them that couldn’t be denied with anything. They will be the highest of pride amongst monster-species, the undisputed Kings amongst creature-kind.
Labrador wasn’t its sole name, no. It was the name of its sub-species in the Dragonkin Kingdom. Its main species was still [Dragonkin].
Four sturdy legs, a streamlined yet muscular body, a tail that had spikes and scales like that of a large adult crocodile, and then a pair of magnificent blue and white coloured wings, the same color as the rest of its body…
This is a True Dragon.
One true step to the path of a true evolution of the bloodlines of the Dragonkins...
From being monsters, in their endless pursuit of a way to reach the limits of heaven, to stand at the very top, to be the masters of their own fates, to be the rulers of their own domains… they evolved and continued to develop, towards that pinnacle, the apex destination of their existence as evolved monsters… Dragons!
The Divine Beast Dragon Race was blessed by an unbelievable gift: their current Terran form.
It was this “gift” alone that had subtracted them out as a genuine “Terran Ethnic Group”, fully founding them as a Terran Race, apart from the Dragonkins.
They aren’t monsters, they aren’t Dragonkins, they are the strongest race: the [Divine Beast Dragon Race].
Yet, while the Divine Beast Dragon Race is a very different “race” than the Dragonkins, their relevant strength description still had the same origins.
The elements are still their pinnacle path and the pursuit of mastering an element or two is always the apex of their desire and existence.
In terms of division in “races”, they differed to not only on their ‘appearance’ but also their overall raw strength: the Dragonkins are still actually stronger given their sizes.
The two notable differences between the [Dragon Race] and the [Dragonkin] were their constitutions as well as the state of their limits.
When a [Dragon] reaches the Elder Dragon Level of strength, they could manifest into what they call as the [Origin Form] where they “go back” into the “True Dragon” essence of their power + all of their mastery in the elements.
While on the other hand, a [Dragonkin], upon their actual stepping into the Elder Dragon Level, gets the opportunity to manifest into a Terran Form.
Comparing the two, the “always” superior in their overall strengths will always be the Dragonkins but their weakness, as more evident on their [Dragon Race] counterpart, was their reproductive abilities.
While there is no limit on how many Elder Dragons could exist in one generation at the same time, the fact remains that only one Elder Dragon per ‘tribe’ will arise with every generation. Most of the time, no Elder Dragon ascends in a hundred generation while one generation spans at least 100 years.
With this is in his thoughts, looking at Labrador, he couldn’t help but to fully appreciate just how hard it was for this “Labrador” to actually reach the True Dragon Level in its evolution.

He got plans for it…
