Chapter 225: Somebody Save Me

================================

It was the kind of explosion that cuts the eyes off of anything not brighter than that ray of light.

It was the kind that actually didn’t create any sort of sound… until it cut through the wind barrier and pointed a full blast of earth-shattering wave of energy towards a pinned target.

…and that target…

…………was just 20 or so meters away!

The two puppets backed off as they gave way to the blast. Siva wasn’t expecting everything to end like this and even though he himself was afraid of facing this blast head on –especially when he thinks about the effects of the Killing Zone coating this blast with a layer of less70% defense– he still expected Kladis to put up an even more level of a fight.

And, as expected, he heard Kladis roared with fury and unyielding madness.

“YOU CAN’T KILL ME!”

Just before Siva fired the cannon, a bright purple glow appeared on Kladis’ finger where a ring could be seen. It was talisman accessory.

No matter what kind of ability or magic spell it possessed, given Kladis’ strength and prestige, he wouldn’t use something that would make him look like a clown in front of his nemesis.

When that glowing light appeared, the gun on his right hand also glowed with the same light. No, to be more accurate, it was his gun and his hand that was glowing… with the glow extending until half his arm.

He pointed the barrel towards Siva and pulled the trigger, meeting the cannon fire head on.

“Gran Cero!”

The purple light coalesced on the barrel of the gun and Kladis pulled the trigger at the same time as the puppet did.

A frightening surge of Mana blasted off from the barrel and formed a 5m diameter-wide purple energy shot… meeting a bright white cannon blast from the bore of the puppet’s weapon.

Silence engulfed the surroundings and even if the two people was around 20m away from each other… it was still a point-blank distance when compared to the capabilities of their energy-type projectile weapons.

As such, it only took a moment’s moment for the blasting energies to collide and create a strong wind pressure that scattered the rain and the dust in their surroundings, even sending the two apart like a recoil effect.

The puppet recoiled back 5m as well as Kladis who was also taken aback when he fired that one single shot.

Storms of purple and white-colored winds sprung from the immediate surroundings of the two blasting energies and although the resulting force of that collision of energy blasts were enough to actually ruin the wall of Alexandria, the shield dome on the verge of collapse was still too far away from the actual area and only their ear-piercing sound collision had reached the people standing on it.

The eternal night was illuminated by the light of the explosion and the cracking lightning from above dimmed in insignificance when compared to the light of their grandeur.

The moments after the collision seem to take away everyone’s breath and just as everyone thought that it was over, a bright red arching trail of a sword could be seen scaling a distance of 20m……towards Kladis!

Apparently, the power of Kladis’s Gran Cero and the cannon blast from Siva’s Ender were of the same level!

The difference between the two, however, was that Siva didn’t suffer any kind of backlash from releasing a powerful attack.

Kladis, however, was suffering from a cooldown.

“Shet!” Kladis yelled as he swung the sword on his left hand with all his might to meet that arching heavy sword. “You can’t defeat me!”

“TRUENOSPADA!”**

(**pun, Spanish for True Sword)

The blue-bladed sword Kladis held, upon the call of a spell, emitted a brilliant blue color and as soon as that color spread from the sword as it was swung, it left the air freezing even until it met the fiery blade of the heavy buster sword.

BANG!

A loud resounding sound of two great forces colliding with each other echoed and created another invisible dome of soundwave that parted the rain around them.

“You will fall in front of me!” Kladis was yelling in anger and utter and complete resentment.

Although it may seem that the fiery sword had the advantage in terms of momentum and the overall weight and size of the weapon, keep in mind that Kladis was still using an unconfirmed Legendary/Unique weapon adding that he had a special ability he just used just now…

Truenospada

It was an ability that creates a domain of absolute freezing might around the blade of the weapon.

This was an innate ability of that freezing sword!

Unless a weapon of similar grade or higher was to meet this blade, and, counting in the effects of the elemental alignment it has… there is no way to actually counter this special ability.

As such, as soon as the weapon met the fiery-red heavy sword, not only the fire it built up all this time was extinguished, the fiery-red glow of the blade itself vanished and was replaced by the permeating coldness coming from the ability.

–it all happened in but a moment’s moment!

When the blue-bladed weapon met the large heavy sword, the hand-sized area around the blade were frozen blue and the blade itself now passed through the heavy sword’s bladed edge like tofu.

A moment later, the entire heavy sword was slashed in two and the Kladis’s blade went directly towards the sword reaper.

“Fall down!” Kladis roared.

But just as he thought that the blade would slash the sword reaper, its left arm moved and carried with it a thundering, rumbling noise of the wind barrier being forcibly torn apart by something with a tyrannical weight and power.

Kladis’ gaze were fixed on the sword reaper’s head and as such he knew that its left shoulder was arched into an attack and this booming noise is directly echoing and whispering to his ears, telling him, YELLING AT HIM, to dodge, run, step out, back off….. get away as far and as quickly as possible.

“Aaaaaaaaahhhh…!!” Kladis cried with madness.

He raised his right hand, relying on the defensive strength of the Falcon (Rune) Armor, bracing himself and gritting his teeth to this incoming impact of that heavy sword.

—–all for the sake of slashing off one of these three pestering puppets of Siva!

CLANG!

To Kladis’s utter surprise, the weight that bore on his right side was of a terrifying extent that he didn’t expect.

His sword slashed off the head of the puppet and it flew over but the weight of the attack he had no choice but to block with his arm was of an incomparable degree.

BANG!

Kladis flew off like a kite that lost its strings and he tumbled, turned, twirled, and spun… falling a good distance of a 50m before he regained back his balance and glared back at Siva…

……only to see a looming hammer crashing right at his head.

“No!” He yelled and crossed his arms to block.

BOOM!

BANG!

Alongside a rattling explosion of wind, the side of the Godhammer head that smashed Kladis’ cross armed block released a highly compressed air that blasted off at him without reservation.

A ring of wind as well as a sphere of rain drops expanded from the point of impact and Kladis was blasted off towards the ground like a falling meteor.

“Gwaaaarrrgghhh..!!!” a cry of pain rung from his lips and on Sivas vision, he saw him vomiting a mouthful of blood that left a trail as he fell at full speed towards forest.

Siva never ceased to follow him and even when he was thrown off by the Sword Reaper’s slash earlier, he still followed closely behind his puppets, ensuring that his control would never wane and his coordination would never drop by even just a fraction of a degree.

“I’m not done with you!” Siva roared.

As he cried, he dived down along with his puppets and, to Kladis’ utter surprise, one of the puppets have a bluish-white electric head and a black-cloaked body holding a cold-metallic heavy sword that he slashed down at Kladis.

“How is that possible?!”

“These ain’t normal puppets so don’t you dare easily die on me!”

Kladis fell for a good hundred meters and he only stopped after four seconds, firing bullets at Siva, roaring in anger with every time he pulled the trigger of his gun.

It can be said that the two of them had the same fighting style: whoever gets the momentum will get the absolute advantage in the fight.

The first reaper puppet held a sword.

The second the Godhammer.

The third… since the [Grand Ender] is still in a cooldown phase, he switched back into his twin guns, Eibon and Steve.

All three were bearing down on Kladis without any shred of fear because they don’t even have anything to fear, they’re not living creatures!

The bullets all hit the bodies of the three but unlike Siva who had to mind the impacts and will be forced to back off because of being made out of flesh, the reapers have nothing to fear of the bullets and as such, dived down without stopping even for just a tiny bit.

Siva wouldn’t give Kladis any kind of intended opening!

The bullets fired by the third reaper puppet were carefully aimed at every opening on Kladis’s form and defenses.

A golden hammer descended, aiming to slam Kladis to the ground. Kladis met the attack with a swing of his arm and parried but right after their collision cancelled their momentums, that slight opening where Kladis’ left arm was swung up, the hammer reaper used his backing momentum to pull an arm on his right side with force…!

That arm belonged to none other than the sword reaper and his heavy sword was swung with not only the added centrifugal momentum from the hammer reaper, but also its own downward force and arching motion, creating an illusion of an enraged swordsman who abandoned defense just so he could deal an overpowering slash.

It was such a sight to see.

The speed of the slash and the overall added momentum from the resulting force of this perfectly executed combination attack, superseded any kind of form and technique Kladis could unleash at this moment to stop this imminent danger.

“Nooooo!!!” An enraged howl of defiance rung from his throat as he received the attack on his left shoulder.

He didn’t even have the time to block.

For the first ever, Siva had managed to land a clean attack!

This cold metallic heavy sword that doesn’t have any kind of mechanical function unlike the fiery-red blade that can produce a heating sensation that will in-turn become a surging heat and burn the air like an aura of fire, had only two redeeming factors to it.

One, it can extend its handle.

Two, and its most important factor....... it’s a ridiculously heavy and sturdy blade!

This one redeeming factor, multiplied by the centrifugal help of the hammer reaper, then adding in the resulting ‘weight’ when multiplied with its falling and swinging speed… and to a defenseless body like Kladis…

……..was a devastating attack even on its own!

BANG!

Kladis was like a tennis ball hit by a racquet square at the sweet spot.

He was smashed towards the ground at a staggering speed!

His mind blackened as he felt the impact of that one single attack shattered whatever integrity he had built on his mind.

The dark sky was still black, his eyes lost focus, as soon as he felt that attack collide with his body, the distance between him and the puppets immediately widened.

He knew in his mind that he was falling and he wasn’t aware how long until he hit the…

BOOM!

“Gwaaaa..!!!”

His armor provided him the greatest defense against anything. Whether it was magic or even the most overpowering physical attacks.

But that’s it.

Impact type attacks are the worst nightmare for these kinds of armor because their blunt effects create tremors that seep through their defenses and directly affect the wearer.

As such, even though his Falcon Armor defended him against the slashing attack of that large heavy sword, the force created by its size was still enough to throw him off and smash him off from the sky.

It was one thing if the falling distance let him regain his wits again but he was already falling down to begin with since earlier and Siva’s unrelenting attacks pushed him even closer to the ground… not to mention he was even bashed off his feet with a full momentum.

BAM! ………BAM! …BAM!

BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM–—!!!

He smashed on the forest floor and created a wide crater and the cracks that ensued spread wide to the surrounding distance with the sound of it coming on like thunder that rumbled wider and wider, summoning a dust storm that spread out and scattered along with the booming… it even toppled trees over, where the grass and other vegetation, including the smaller Predators and animals, all cowering away from the soundwave… with the smaller ones even being blown off to the air towards further places.

It was to show just how much force was created by that one single attack.

Kladis felt his bones creaked and cracked, he had setup his game-rendering experience to maximum and as such he could feel that his lips were wet with his own blood.

And yet… he was still alive… only thanks to the armor he wore in his body.

He tried to lift his hand as he summoned a red potion but before he could even put that potion on his mouth to drink it, a meteor of a sword created a screeching sound as it flew towards him……. straight at his chest.

BOOM!

“Gaaaahhh!” Kladis could only scream at the pain.

The armor ensured that he won’t be pierced through but the sheer weight and damage of that one throwing attack had shattered his inards.

It was a kind of torment that was only possible in a game. If it was a real life battle with these kinds of miraculous proportions, then he would have long died.

Following that attack, the large blade bounced off of Kladis and his body was slightly lifted with the impact only to be nailed again by a golden hammering blow.

BOOM!

“Gargh!”

His body sunk down again and the crater rattled as few more cracks spread from where his body lay.

The heavy sword that bounced off from him was grabbed by black hand and right when the hammer reaper gave way for the sword reaper, the sword was swung and he was nailed to the ground again.

BOOM!

BANG!

BANG!

BAM!

The hammer and the sword exchanged turns to pin Kladis down. Sometimes hitting his body, the hammer to the head, and sometimes the sword tried to cut his limbs only to be met with a strong resistance… thanks to the miraculous sturdiness of these things called Rune Armors.

But, Kladis… had long since lost the ability to resist.

The attacks stopped and Siva hovered there above him, their gazes meeting, with Kladis beaten black and blue and could only let out a bloody smile filled with mockery and disdain.

“You will not… get through this armor.” He said with extreme difficulty, even coughing up blood.

Siva, with cold indifferent eyes, descended on him and the puppets held Kladis’ arms to make sure that he wouldn’t move.

TAP! TAP!

Siva’s feet touched the cleaned forest floor that is now only left with the sturdy rock underneath the once soily ground.

FLASH!

A small knife appeared on his hand and seeing it, Kladis’ mind spun and he shivered.

“Wh-What are you doing? I’m already defeated, I give up, the castle is yours! What do you want?”

Siva slowly made his way towards Kladis, each step he made he would flail the knife, gesturing like a killer who’s about to skin his victim alive.

“To kill you… like I said… slowly… inch, by inch, until you wish you wanted to die… that only death is the only salvation for your agony.”

“N-N-No… No…!! Are you even human!?”

Siva was already in front of Kladis and he leaned closer for Kladis to see the face underneath that black cloak.

“I am human.” His cool and sinister voice said.

But although Kladis heard the reply, he only saw darkness inside his cloa—No!

There was something else!

There was a pair of eyes. Eyes filled with hate and murder… of his cold and indifferent vengeance that could freeze one’s soul upon the slightest contact.

What is this…?

Kladis couldn’t believe himself.

W-Why am I shaking?

Kladis stared wide eyes on Siva’s gaze and he felt the sensation of fear that’s been lingering in his heart shout directly at his mind.

“I’m going to die!”

“I’m going to kill you….”

Siva said and with every word that he spoke, Kladis’ mind spun as the gravely-sounding words became like needles that prickled his mind with a simple realization that rhymed along with Siva’s words.

“…slowly…”

“He’s going to kill me.”

“…inch… by inch…”

“He’s going to kill me!”

“…one layer of your skin after another…”

“HE’S GOING TO KILL ME!!!”

.

.

.

.

.

A pause came to the voice but Kladis’s heart was already on the verge of collapsing.

Just one blow and we would go crazy…

……because…

Of all the people he’d met, of all the threats of ‘killing him’ that he had heard…

None of them were as real and was as threatening as Siva…

None of them… meant it with a real murderous intent as him.

Finally, as if a thundering roar of a monster right next to one’s ears, instead of a loud roar, a cool, low toned whisper… a whisper that dwarfed all the angry thunder and lightning of the sky… had reached Kladis’ ears.

“I…

“WILL”

“KILL”

“YOU”

“…….over… and over… until I am satisfied.”

Kladis cried, “Aaahh..!! Somebody save me!” as Siva stabbed his left cheek with the blade piercing through to the other side of his cheeks.

“You stay silent as I dismember you!”

“Nnnnngggggg…! Mnnnggg!! Mnnnnnnggg!!!”

“Vessel of Siva that’s enough.”
