"Who are you? As far as I know, Julia is just an ordinary person with no special abilities." Lucy Phoenix gazed intensely at the Thousand-Faced Fox, whose ordinary, unremarkable face was now adorned with a hint of a smile. However, the eyes never lie, and the brightness and strength in her gaze revealed her true martial prowess.
"Why waste words? If we must fight, then let us!" The Thousand-Faced Fox did not resort to trickery, but instead descended the stairs one by one, gradually advancing towards Lucy Phoenix. Her imposing aura caused a hidden undercurrent to surge through the narrow passageway.
As they drew closer, Lucy Phoenix smiled serenely and said, "You may leave."
"Why?" Even the cunning and clever Thousand-Faced Fox seemed puzzled by this abrupt change in demeanor.
"No reason, I just don't feel like killing today." Impatiently waving her hand, Lucy urged the Fox to leave before she regretted it.
"Aren't you seeking revenge for your sister?" As the Thousand-Faced Fox passed by Lucy, she stopped and asked, creating a tense atmosphere between them. An invisible spiritual energy seemed to reach a precarious balance, like a powder keg waiting for a spark.
"What do you think?" Just as a balance had been reached, the Fox's words caused tension to rise once more. With a single remark, Lucy ignited the fuse, launching into action with explosive force. The sound of impact echoed through the air, her movements too swift to be seen. The Fox staggered back up the stairs, and as Lucy pursued her, the concrete steps indenting silently beneath her feet, her canvas shoes shattered into pieces. Her slender, graceful hands transformed into a powerful, sinewy force. The Fox cried out in shock as Nancy Phoenix's dagger pierced her, turning her limbs to iron mud.
"General!"
"Well done!" Lucy remained calm in the face of the Fox's declaration, as if being addressed by her rank was nothing out of the ordinary. Her hands, like twin dragons, dove into the Fox's embrace, and with her formidable power, she became a crushing force.
Faced with her approaching palms, every pore on the Fox's body tensed, a wave of terror washing over her. But she was not one to be trifled with, and she lunged forward, her hands reaching out like claws. A strange fragrance filled the air, and cherry blossoms seemed to dance all around, creating a spring-like atmosphere.
"Soul-Capturing Fragrance! This changes everything!" Lucy thought to herself, relying solely on her breath to fight. After expelling her breath, she would need to regain her strength, making it crucial not to inhale any of the fragrance. Closing off all her pores, her entire body became covered in iron-like nodules, as if wearing a thick layer of armor.
The Fox felt as if her hands were gripping hot irons, and in her agony, she tried to release her grip but found it unbearable. Lucy shook her hands, transforming her claws into fists, and the force of her blows was like that of a cannon, causing the staircase to crack and spiderweb in all directions. The Fox flew back, blood spewing from her mouth as she hit the wall and crumpled to the ground. She quickly rose to her feet, assuming a defensive stance, realizing she had miscalculated. She should not have engaged in close combat, as her expertise lay in strategy and intellect, not brute force.
"Are you still up for more?" Lucy stood in the hallway, exhaling a long breath, the white vapor forming a continuous line, a serene display.
"Do you think you can launch a second attack?" The Fox's mocking tone filled the air as she turned and vanished from sight.
"Take care of yourself!" Watching the enigmatic disappearance of the Fox, Lucy spoke into the unknown, knowing that she had shown mercy this time, merely teaching her a lesson.
Barrett Walker was unaware that the three beautiful women had engaged in a fierce battle, wreaking havoc on his home. As he looked at the smoke-filled office and the sardonic expression on Frigg Clare's face, Barrett truly felt overwhelmed. Having taken a leave of absence and now resigning, it was truly not a good time to be dealing with all this. However, since he had made the decision to return, he needed to report to the Academy of War Gods. There was simply no time to linger in his current job.

The cigarette in Frigg Clare's hand was nearly burnt out, and with a flick of her fingers, the butt landed precisely in the nearby ashtray. Putting her feet down, she slipped on her high heels and paced in front of Barrett. Finally, she stopped and said, "Fine, I approve, but I have one condition."
"What? I'm just resigning, and you still have conditions!" Of course, Barrett could only think this to himself, wearing a look of consternation and dismay. "What's your condition? Please don't make things difficult for me!"
"I heard that the Academy of War Gods has sent you a special admission notice, is that correct?" Frigg Clare gazed intently at Barrett, her eyes filled with anticipation.
"Frigg! You really are a half-fairy!" Barrett immediately tried to flatter her.
"Be serious. Let's talk business. I want you to help me set up a front at the Academy of War Gods, to run this bar business. I'm really exhausted from it all." Frigg Clare couldn't help but reveal a look of extreme weariness as she sat down next to Barrett.
Barrett felt as if he had been pricked by a needle and immediately jumped up, wearing a bewildered expression. "How am I supposed to help you with that? I don't even know if this acceptance letter is real!"
"Are you not going to help me?" Frigg had to stand up and grabbed Barrett's ear, warning him that if he dared to say no, she would separate his ear from his head.
"I'll help, I'll help!" Barrett danced around to free himself from her clutches. She really wasn't holding back at all! He asked pitifully, "Frigg, what about my situation?"
"Get lost!" Frigg waved him off, but then added, "But you have to stay and help for a few days to finish your pending work!"
"You really are consistent in your approach. You're making a big deal out of such a small matter!" Barrett turned and said, closing the door. He heard a loud thud, and it was clear that she was furious and throwing things. Barrett shrunk back, realizing that he needed to finish these things quickly. It was time for him to go back.
Three days later, it was the day of the results and voluntary enrollment. Barrett returned to school, watching as one-third of the students were absent, making the once bustling Twenty-One Public High School seem quieter. Barrett's calm heart began to stir with emotion. His university days were finally approaching, and his most memorable high school experience was coming to an end. He had come to reclaim his little cat and confirm his own grades.
Walking along the quiet path in the woods, watching the younger students, their faces tense as they hurried to their classrooms, Barrett couldn't help but smile. It was such a familiar sight! Suddenly, in the distance, a piercing scream rang out, and a fleet of military vehicles shattered the tranquility of Twenty-One Public High School. Barrett furrowed his brow slightly. Had something major happened again? Even though there were large numbers of zombies in the apocalypse, they had long since been driven away from human cities. Had a new virus emerged? He quickly followed after the military vehicles.
As he approached the military cordon that had been set up, Barrett's heart tightened, and a sense of unease rose rapidly within him. He tried to recall his memories from his past life, but found no trace of anything relevant. Perhaps the Federation had sealed off the information, and he was not privy to it.
"What's going on?" Barrett asked a student he didn't recognize.
"What do you think? There are zombies on campus! Damn, they're ferocious!" The student replied irritably.
Barrett was taken aback. Was this person joking, or was it a genuine situation? Although there were large numbers of zombies in the apocalypse, they had long since been driven away from human cities. Had a new virus emerged? "Is the headmaster inside?" Barrett inquired.
"Who? Are you talking about that stunning beauty? It seems like she's been infected!" The student gave Barrett a strange look, assuming he was a stranger who had come to flirt with her. He rolled his eyes and continued speaking.
Barrett's heart tightened. Had the source of the infection been the little cat he had brought back? But why hadn't he been infected? He lifted the yellow caution tape and charged inside, knowing that this was not the first time he had done something like this.
"Stop, who are you? The area is under martial law, you must return immediately!" A soldier in military attire hurried forward, blocking Barrett's path. Barrett's body slithered like an eel, slipping past the soldier and into the building. The soldier watched as Barrett disappeared inside, but did not pursue him. Instead, he sighed heavily and stood in front of the main entrance, clearly under orders to allow no one out.
Barrett stopped in his tracks, looking at the soldiers' attire. Loose on the outside, tight on the inside! His heart tightened even more at the realization that things had already escalated to this point. Seeing the people in protective suits, he realized that they had taken aim at him with sniper rifles. If he dared to escape, they would take him out immediately!
