A lone hand, clearly at a disadvantage, Barrett Walker used only one hand to knock down those little brothers. None of them were skilled warriors, just slightly stronger than ordinary people. Barrett Walker didn't even move his feet.
"Sigh! How boring!" Barrett Walker sighed heavily in front of so many people, with a graceful and grandmaster-like look. He shook his head and took out a few eggs from his bag, placing them in the hands of the two women. "I know you probably haven't eaten well! Take these! Eat them when you get hungry later! This is all I can bring."
Monica and Julia exchanged glances, feeling both a hint of sweetness and a tinge of sourness. If it had only been for one of them, they might have been very pleased.
Their voices were soft, as if whispering: "Thank you!"
"I'll escort you for a while! Let's hurry! It's a ten kilometer journey!" Barrett Walker said, taking two rifles from their hands, adding almost twenty pounds to his own load. Barrett Walker ran slowly ahead, with the two women following closely behind. Even if they were burdened with twice the weight, their awakened abilities allowed them to bear it. However, it was a gesture of kindness, and they could not bear to refuse.
"Wow! How romantic! These two campus beauties really don't know how to be reserved!"
"If only a man would fight for me, bring me eggs, and carry a gun for me, I would gladly give myself to him!"
"Don't be infatuated, let's go! There's no one to help us carry things, and there's still five kilometers to go!"
Watching Barrett Walker running ahead, along with the two campus beauties, the men were pounding their chests and stamping their feet, regretting that they didn't join in. They had wasted such a good opportunity just to see him make a fool of himself.
The group gradually fell behind, with some people dropping out, not even covering a kilometer. Many others began to discard things to lighten their load, but Benjamin Blake paid no attention to these situations and simply followed closely behind Barrett Walker.
Barrett Walker glanced at the time and realized that nearly half the time had passed, but according to the location marked on the electronic map, they were less than a kilometer away.
"You go ahead! We can make it," Monica seemed to sense Barrett Walker's intentions and urged him.
"Yes, you go ahead," Julia agreed.
"Alright, I'll go ahead," Barrett Walker didn't say much, looking back at the sparse crowd behind him. He returned the two rifles to the two women and then sprinted with all his might.

"Looking at them, you should know what to do!" Benjamin Blake pointed to the group of students who were almost exhausted. They were still persevering, but for them, the five-kilometer armed cross-country journey was too difficult for their first time. After saying this, Benjamin Blake quickly followed Barrett Walker, carrying the same weight and following the same path. Could Barrett Walker surpass Benjamin Blake in this armed cross-country journey with the same weight and the same path?
At this point, Barrett Walker had already left everyone behind. His speed was very fast, and it seemed as if the weight on his body had been completely eliminated. As the mountain path became increasingly difficult to navigate, covered in overgrown grass and slippery in the morning dew, Barrett Walker almost stumbled several times, but he never looked back, just kept moving forward!
Benjamin Blake continued to follow Barrett Walker at the same steady pace. After passing the three-kilometer mark, Benjamin Blake's eyes showed a look of surprise. It was amazing that, after wasting so much time, Barrett Walker could still run this far. It was truly astonishing.
Barrett Walker felt his physical strength waning, having used up all the food he had eaten that morning. However, his pace remained resolute as he looked at the map and realized he was getting closer and closer to the five-kilometer mark. Barrett Walker laughed happily, realizing that only eighteen minutes had passed. However, as he approached the five-kilometer destination, his breathing became increasingly heavy. Even though this was not his intended destination, he had an impulse to stay once he arrived. Finally, after crossing the flat ground of this desolate mountain, Barrett Walker ran up to the flag planted in the center of the neatly arranged wild grass. He felt a sense of relief and relaxation as he slipped down, feeling very light.
Benjamin Blake dropped all his equipment at the foot of the flag, opened the backpack with his identification card, and took out three sets of bullets, a heavy-duty machete, and a military knife. He loaded the bullets, looked at the map with the small red dot indicating Barrett Walker's location, and quickly followed.
Barrett Walker breathed heavily as he rested, despite being a high-level warrior. He had run so far without taking a break and dared not to, feeling exhausted like a dog. As he looked at the black line on the map, uncertain of its direction, he began to doubt whether he could cross-country for ten kilometers. Finally, he couldn't resist any longer and took a break.
Suddenly, a roar echoed through the forest as a huge monster descended from the sky, startled by the gunshot. Barrett Walker, on high alert, noticed the creature and dodged to avoid it. The monster's massive claws swiped through the dense forest as if it were nothing but grass. Barrett Walker got up and ran back, cursing under his breath, feeling frustrated at the sight of the behemoth.
No matter how skilled Benjamin Blake was with the gun, or how well he hid, trying to snipe in front of a sharpshooter like Barrett Walker was like playing with fire. Barrett Walker spotted Benjamin Blake hiding, and seeing the massive creature behind him, he ran towards Benjamin Blake.
Gunshots rang out, as Barrett Walker led the monster towards Benjamin Blake. Unable to hide any longer, Benjamin Blake stood up, continuously pulling the trigger, hitting the monster almost effortlessly. However, the creature, in pain, became even more aggressive in chasing Barrett Walker.
Barrett Walker wanted to curse at Benjamin Blake, but with the monstrous creature in the sky, he was afraid of getting injured. He could only run, hoping to have bullets soon. He felt the urge to throw the burning stick in his hand in frustration, but he resisted, realizing it was not the time to lose his temper. He shouted to Benjamin Blake, "Bullets, I need bullets!"
He wanted to show Benjamin Blake what a sharpshooter was!
