Barrett Walker sat opposite a stone monkey, feeling like Robinson Crusoe from the novel "Robinson Crusoe" as he indulged in a self-consoling speech.
"Say something, even a grunt, and I'll take you out for a banana! Come on, be a good monkey! Say something and I won't bother you anymore. You know what a banana is, right? Bananas are very fragrant, you know the English word for it, right? No? Don't be like that!" Barrett Walker felt as though he was close to losing his patience, so he stood up and kicked the stone stalagmite in front of him, breaking it with one swift kick. "I'm telling you, damn it! If I can't take it anymore, I'll break out, otherwise I'll freeze to death."
"Sister! Did you hear a noise?" Lucy Phoenix and Nancy Phoenix, the two sisters, stood back to back, on guard against their surroundings. Suddenly, Lucy Phoenix heard a sound not far away and couldn't help but turn around to ask.
"What sound? Are you mistaken?" Nancy Phoenix's cultivation was much lower than Lucy Phoenix's, and now she was being harassed by the strange creatures in the Dragon Scale Grotto. She hadn't heard the so-called sound at all.
"I didn't make a mistake! Listen carefully." It was rare to hear any noise in the Dragon Scale Grotto, so Lucy Phoenix didn't want to let it go. Suddenly, her eyes lit up and a green light shot towards her, a palm strike created a gust of wind, and the green figure dispersed and disappeared.
"I still haven't heard it. I think you're just lonely and having auditory hallucinations!" Fortunately, the two sisters entered the Dragon Scale Grotto together, otherwise they would have been driven crazy by the oppressive atmosphere. But sometimes the two women would also have strange expressions or actions, so it was impossible to confirm whether it was real or not.
"It seems that I really am having auditory hallucinations!" Lucy Phoenix listened again and found that there was no more sound, so she said, "This can't go on! We haven't even made it out yet, and our minds are already having problems! We need to come up with a solution."
"What else can we do? I don't even know if the monsters in front of us are real or just figments of our imagination." Nancy Phoenix said helplessly, clapping her hands and causing the shadows to disappear, leaving nothing behind. There was no trace at all, which was frustrating!
"We must break out, otherwise how can we shine at the sports meet? And I don't want to eat these dry and tasteless things every day. I used to love beef jerky, but now it's no different from chewing on a belt or straw." Lucy Phoenix said seriously, taking out a piece of beef jerky that was so hard it could be compared to a stone.
"Alright, what do you suggest?" The two sisters, who were usually good eaters, found themselves stuck here. living on dry rations and drinking the water they found in the cracks, feeling very upset. They really hated Sing Phoenix, their "stepmother". They were her most beloved and adorable, so they couldn't understand why she was so heartless. Could it be that they were really picked up from the back door of the hospital?
"We'll burn our boats and gamble everything. We'll throw away everything we have and I refuse to believe that we can't break out. Even if we can't break out, they'll still have to watch us starve to death." Lucy Phoenix was also determined, as staying here was really driving people crazy.

"Alright, I'll do as you say. If Sing Phoenix dares not to come and save us, then we'll haunt her every night and cry at her pillow, giving her wrinkles, crow's feet, and panda eyes, let's see if she dares to go out and meet people, or dare to seduce Barrett Walker." Nancy Phoenix cursed viciously, while in the office, Sing Phoenix was doing a face mask during class time, suddenly sneezed violently, and cursed the two ungrateful girls.
After their conversation, the two of them discarded all their belongings. Suddenly, Nancy Phoenix reached out and touched Lucy Phoenix's chest, where a small dove was about to soar. Chuckling, she remarked, "I didn't realize you had such assets! Have you taken off all your clothes?" Lucy Phoenix immediately retaliated, tickling Nancy Phoenix incessantly under her arm, and the two women tussled in a playful manner.
"Enough, there's no need to go to such extremes. It may be cold here, but freezing would not be ideal. Let's hurry and get out!" At this moment, Lucy Phoenix seemed more like an older sister as she pulled Nancy Phoenix towards the exit, paying no mind to the menacing creatures approaching them.
Barrett Walker discovered a secret to escape, which involved violently destroying these beautiful things. Eventually, he found a way out, but his conscience still troubled him for destroying the peculiar stalactites. Nevertheless, he had found a path out!
Suddenly, an enormous crocodile leapt out from the pool, its robust body exuding an aura of unstoppable power. As it emerged from the water, it collided with a thick stone column that collapsed with a thunderous crash. Opening its gaping jaws, the crocodile lunged at Barrett Walker, who appeared feeble in comparison, like a mere sparrow.
Shocked by the sight of the seemingly invincible crocodile's sudden weakness, Barrett Walker became wary. After all, unusual occurrences often have a sinister cause. With no way out but to swim across the pool, he struggled with the decision, fearing that there might be some monstrous creature lurking in the water.
Glancing at the pitch-black opposite side, Barrett Walker, despite his eyes adjusting to the darkness, knew that this place was not entirely devoid of light, as occasional minerals emitted a faint glow. Despite his confidence, the distant span was too great to leap across.
"What to do? Jump or swim?" Barrett Walker muttered to himself, holding the withered sword in his hand, a weapon that had slain a colossal beast but showed no signs of transformation, truly living up to its name - the Withered Sword. Nevertheless, it served as an excellent prop to maintain a facade.
"Damn it! I'll jump," Barrett Walker muttered to himself, resolutely taking a step back. He needed to rely on his body's explosive power and whether his bones could withstand such force.
Retreating nearly ten meters, Barrett Walker was fortunate that the ground, due to the presence of the pool, was relatively stable and not uneven. Yet he still felt the distance was insufficient and took a few more steps back until he was pressed against the wall, or else he would have to take a winding path.
"Let's do this!" Barrett Walker spat out with determination, clearing his mind of all frustration. He crouched down, continuously gazing into the distance, with his heels pressed against the wall. He adjusted his breathing forcefully, his heart pounding like a drum, quickening its pace, pumping adrenaline throughout his body. His muscles relaxed, yet his tendons and bones tightened in an instant.
Barrett Walker erupted, and the wall behind him was shattered by the force of his foot, like a giant spider web extending outward. As he ran, his speed surpassed that of a brigadier general, reaching a maximum speed of 120 meters per second. The ground he covered was reduced to rubble, and as he approached the edge, his left foot landed with an immense force, propelling his body like a rocket, with the exploding debris on either side resembling flames.
In the blink of an eye, he had covered ten meters, then twenty, thirty... Boom! Barrett Walker collided with the ceiling of the stone cave, his withered sword serving as his drill, piercing through to another layer of the dragon scale cave. As he gazed at the sight before his eyes, Barrett Walker was left dumbfounded, bewildered by the strange spectacle.
