"Enough talk, let's hurry up and run." Barrett Walker grabbed Baron by the collar and quickly dragged him into the alley.
"Your jealousy is bare and obvious, envying my handsome looks!" Baron broke free from Barrett Walker's grip, panting as he ran. The outburst had drained him of energy, leaving him feeling sore and breathless.
Seeing Baron's exhaustion, Barrett Walker stopped after turning into a small alley, then stared intently at Baron's familiar face, feeling as if they were worlds apart. The dream from the previous life had been too long, four years of suffering felt like a lifetime of hardship, filled with countless grievances and misunderstandings. If it weren't for being trapped by reality and his own timidity, perhaps things could have been different. However, having two loyal brothers who never abandoned him was a small glimmer of light in his difficult life. In this life, he would never be timid again.
Baron, feeling intimidated by Barrett Walker's serious gaze, spoke up earnestly, "Hey! What's wrong? If you have something to say, just say it! But I'll tell you upfront, I won't engage in any intimate activities with you."
"Heh! You're still as carefree as ever." Barrett Walker punched Baron's chest with a serious expression, then apologized, "I'm sorry, I was too timid."
Baron thought Barrett was referring to the earlier incident and reassured him, "Don't worry, we grew up wearing open-crotch pants. If I had been dragged into battle by that madman when I was a child, I'd probably have been traumatized too."
After speaking, Baron exaggeratedly looked around, pointing out the stubborn old man revered as the war god by the people. "Heh! Don't comfort me. Having syncope is what it is! As long as I have you as my bodyguard in the future, it's all good. So, you have to become the next war god, and then I can bask in your glory!"
Barrett Walker's eyes darkened, despite being reborn, syncope continued to be a major issue for him. Although he encouraged himself to strive harder, that threshold lingered in his mind.
Sensing Barrett Walker's despondent tone, Baron shook his head and ceased his joking, patting Barrett Walker's shoulder. "If close combat isn't an option, then become a sniper! You can become a sniper god. In the second world, I met someone who claimed there was a sniper god in their team. He killed three high-level monsters in a row, stumping even the highest-ranked colonel. If it was in reality, that sniper god could have at least taken down one high-level monster! It's a sure way to make a fortune!"
"Is that so?" Barrett Walker absentmindedly replied, his mind consumed by the memories of his previous life. His weak father was about to come looking for him, to take him back to War God Mountain for his grandfather's 80th birthday celebration. The insults and mistreatment he had endured after announcing his engagement at the celebration would always haunt him. He couldn't bear the thought of Marjorie Greene looking down on him and humiliating him.
In that moment from his previous life, he had wished for death. Unfortunately, the war god, Mas Walker, had not seen the repulsive appearance of the bride he had arranged for him.
Proud as he was, he couldn't allow his descendants to defy his wishes, even if it meant defying the youngest general and even his weak father.
"What are you thinking?" Baron asked, seeing Barrett Walker's teeth-gritting expression, unsure of what could stir such anger.
Barrett Walker, in a fit of frustration, replied without looking back, "Nothing good. Let's go. I don't want that person to find me."
With that, he turned and headed towards the city, refusing to participate in the birthday celebration.
"Are we going the wrong way? We don't have to find a wild spot for that kind of thing. Let's go back to the city and find a hotel!" Baron followed behind Barrett Walker, watching him walk toward the city. He couldn't believe his brother would dare to go to such a place, but seeing Barrett's indifferent demeanor, he decided to follow him.

"Get lost, you scoundrel," Barrett Walker muttered, feeling depressed.
Laughing, Baron retorted, "Let's go! This is the best day you've had. You don't have to worry about anything."
Feeling a bit melancholic, Barrett Walker replied, "Yes, today is your happiest day. You don't have to think about anything."
Suddenly, Baron quickened his pace and blocked Barrett Walker, then asked seriously, "Where are we going?"
Barrett Walker lifted his head and stared back at Baron. "Why are you staring at me like a toad?"
Baron laughed dismissively. "Do you really want to know?"
"Yes! Are you coming with me to the city outskirts?" Barrett Walker asked.
"The outskirts? Have you lost your mind? Those wild people outside the city have no right to enter! Why would you want to go there?" Baron widened his eyes, disbelieving what he was hearing. Looking at the sky, he realized it wasn't night yet, and that he wasn't dreaming. He pinched Barrett Walker's face and said, "This is not a dream! Are you out of your mind?"
"I'm not crazy. Will you come with me to the outskirts?" Barrett Walker straightened his posture, eagerly seeking Baron's agreement.
"Alright, I give up. What are you going to do in the outskirts? You treat your brother's sturdy but meager muscles as worthless, but I'll still accompany you. But you have to tell me why, so I can help you." Baron patted his chest firmly, sounding like a butcher trying to sell his pork.
"Where do you have muscles? When did you become a butcher? The only meat you're selling is yourself," Barrett Walker teased, but his mind was racing. He couldn't reveal that he had been reborn and that his father was coming to take him back to War God Mountain for his grandfather's birthday celebration, which was actually an attempt to marry him off to an unworthy woman. Instead, he thought about the recent events, as the aliens had invaded War God Mountain's citadel and connected their signaling device to the portal of the second world. The aliens had caused chaos in the second world, mocking human ignorance and trampling their online realm. This incident, known as the 'Apocalyptic Bell,' had enraged humanity, prompting the War God Mas Walker to propose a resolution in the Federal Council. This led to the human world becoming the second battlefield in the war against the aliens, and the accomplishments were recorded in reality.
Barrett Walker suddenly curved the corner of his mouth, although ordinary people could not participate in the second battlefield without a certain military rank, in order to avoid embarrassing humanity or even causing irreversible psychological damage. However, the second battlefield is too vast and unlike reality, where the soldiers undergoing combat training are as numerous as the fish in a river. Although their exact military ranks are unknown, it does not hinder their glory from being widely spread.
Thinking of this, Barrett Walker suddenly became excited. Although he did not live well in the real world, in the second world, he was not afraid of blood and had some fame with a sniper rifle. He had thoroughly mastered the skills of these great gods. If he were to enter the internet now, he might even become a savior.
Hmm!
It seems like he has grown a thicker skin, but even if he cannot become a savior, he might still become famous with a single shot!
At least it is the beginning of changing his tragic fate!
"Do you believe me?"
Barrett Walker, who had never been so serious, looked at Barrett and said. He could no longer choose to escape, otherwise, he would have changed the fate of Julia Menard himself, but he no longer had any connection with her, so he must try.
"How could I not believe you? Even if you sell me, I will still help you count the money."
Barrett said shyly.
"Alright, stop it. You should've listened to me. Okay, I'll just say it directly. We're not going outside the city, we'll find a safe internet city and enter the second world. Something big is going to happen."
Barrett Walker said very seriously.
"What big thing? It's not that time of the month for you, is it?"
Barrett seemed very casual.
" I already know you're invincible. Please let me have some space to survive, okay?"
Barrett Walker interrupted.
"OK, I won't say anything. You go ahead..."
Barrett always felt that Barrett Walker was not normal today. He had always been the one to tease him with words, but now this guy was teasing him back. Finally, he had a serious conversation in front of him.
"Now you come with me, let's find a safer internet city and enter the second network world, waiting for the alien monsters to attack the city. Remember, we must make a name for ourselves in battle."
Barrett Walker's eyes were distant. In the days to come, the second world would become a true barometer for the real world, a desert of ostriches, continually supplying the real world with bioelectricity. This abundant bioelectric stimulation could also continuously unlock the body's potential.
