132.Fight Incident (Part 3)

Barrett Walker saw blood but did not faint, his mind was already confused and now seemed somewhat crazy, as the saying goes, "liquor emboldens the coward," and Barrett Walker was not a coward. He grabbed a machete and swung it repeatedly, causing blood to splatter. This time, a life was taken! But Barrett Walker continued to kill, oblivious to the residents outside who heard the cries of slaughter. Some people looked out the window, immediately recoiling in fear, while others bravely peered out, and some even quickly dialed the police station.

Barrett Walker's nerves had been numbed by alcohol, making him appear very carefree and indeed, he was. Six men moved through the crowd, striking fear into over three hundred people, who were not only scared of the killing, but also by the fact that these six men seemed indifferent to the act, and more importantly, by their stamina. The elite of this gang, though no strangers to dangerous situations, were now beginning to lose their nerve. Eventually, someone started to retreat, causing a mass exodus which surrounded the six men in a large circle, while the two gentlemen had long since disappeared.

"Why have they stopped fighting?" Barrett Walker looked around with his head down, his eyes searching for something, realizing that the fight was over, he shouted in a coarse voice.

The leaders of the gangs were at a loss, realizing the severity of the situation. With so many casualties and injuries, it seemed their chances of capturing the six men were slim. With the loss of many of their elite members, and with others injured and incapacitated, it appeared that a great number of them would be unable to continue fighting.

"Stand firm, you've been fighting for so long, yet you're still so disoriented!" A lean and sly figure, Benni Branko, grabbed the swaying Barrett Walker and said, "Are you still going to fight? Take your people and leave, the police will be here soon, and it won't be good for you!"

The police in the university town were completely useless, his words were just giving them an out!

"Hmph! We're leaving to settle the score with him, damn it, daring to deceive us!" With a wave of his hand, an old man led the group away, and seeing one group of people retreating, the others didn't want to continue fighting and quickly left with the injured and dead.

"So much blood!" Frog-like figure Bloge Calvin shook his head in pity, dropping the blood-stained knife on the ground, and left first.

"Yes, tomorrow will be a busy day for many people!" Helping each other, they staggered back to their dormitory.

Seeing the chaos in the dormitory, the six men were too lazy to clean up, and each of them slept in their original beds, while Barrett Walker had to sleep in the empty bed, not caring about the cleanliness, and laid down on the mat and went to sleep.

The narrow 405 dormitory had only three bunk beds and two large wardrobes, and with six naked bodies lying on the beds, their bodies stained with blood, it was easy to imagine how hot it was inside the dormitory. The ceiling fan hummed, dispersing the unbearable heat of the summer, and it was the coolest time of the day from early morning to noon, but it was still relatively hot. The large fireball outside was releasing its heat, making the six people sweat, causing the dried bloodstains to become blurry.

As they slept soundly, a knocking on the door interrupted them, and then someone became impatient and started to pound on the door. Suddenly, the door was kicked open, and a person holding a large electric baton entered, glancing at the situation, and frowned slightly. This person was Akton, the head of the Quality Assurance Department of the 013 class, and had a good relationship with the head of the Security Department of the War God Academy. He was rumored to be the son of the head of the Security Department, Hanni.

A group of Quality Assurance Department staff followed Akton, as well as two teachers from the Security Department, and they all left after Akton used the electric baton on the beds. However, the six people on the bunk beds suddenly sat up, glaring angrily at him. He then moved the electric baton to another bed, causing the person on the upper bunk, Benni Branko, to sit up, but Barrett Walker on the lower bunk remained asleep. This was one of the major characteristics trained by the War God Academy, being able to sleep even in the most dangerous of situations but waking up quickly when danger approached.

Barrett Walker's mental strength was incredible, if it were any other time, he would have sensed the person approaching with murderous intent, but his alcohol consumption had completely numbed his mind. Akton didn't care whether he was awake or not, and struck the iron bed with the electric baton, but Barrett Walker still didn't react, while Benni Branko kicked Akton.

"Don't move, otherwise you'll be provoking the War God Academy, and we'll expel you immediately." Two teachers stepped forward behind Akton, their powerful presence immobilizing Benni Branko. This angered the people in the 405 dormitory, and they all got out of bed, glaring at the intruders into their territory.

The narrow dormitory was like a powder keg, ready to explode at any moment, but Barrett Walker, who had been sound asleep, suddenly sat up, and even with his carefree demeanor, he should have been shocked by so many people staring at him, especially considering his naked body and bloodstains, which made him feel disgusting and uncomfortable.

"Let's go! Let's go to the Security Department, we don't have the leisure like you do! We don't have time to waste with you!" The two teachers spoke up, and in the War God Academy, the power of the Security Department was unimaginable.

"Okay!" Barrett Walker just uttered a soft response, stood up, and, with a splitting headache, picked up a basin and staggered out. The group of people watched as he left, wondering if he was unaware of the Security Department or simply didn't care about them.

"Where are you going?" one of the teachers asked, their lips trembling.

"Can't you tell? We need to take a shower, don't we?" The five people were quite impressed with Barrett Walker, who dared to be so brazen even after the teachers intervened, and they all walked out with their basins, the blood and sweat stains on their bodies making them feel uncomfortable.

Looking at the small house hidden among the large trees, Barrett Walker shook his head indifferently. He didn't expect to be called to this place before the official start of the school year. They entered the house and felt the coolness, a lemon-scented breeze blowing in their faces, and the central air conditioning was indeed dominant. Barrett Walker felt that this was the most comfortable place in the entire War God Academy. He couldn't help but fan himself with his hand and saw a person sitting coldly behind the desk, giving off an icy and unapproachable vibe.

Ignoring the five people's silence, Barrett Walker broke the deadlock and said, "What else could we have done, except for having a few drinks?"

"Is that really all you did?" He suddenly slammed the table, causing the entire building to tremble. The oppressive aura filled every inch of the air in the room, making it difficult to breathe.
